You both look into the water, looking for the source of what took the KT underwater, but see nothing... wait, maybe a struggling form of the fishman? There's a sudden dark flash that only belatedly does Stena realize it was a sudden release of the KT's blood and viscera underwater as it was crushed. The other KT continues swimming towards you as a great tendril of water loops up over the dugout and smashes back down, pulling it underwater. A glow begins to build in the water between you and the main channel, near the entrance to the alcove as the water ripples and forms up into a watery form that surges up before collapsing back down in your direction, ripping after the swimming KT...

It similar in size to the big fish men you've fought off, and does seem akin to the fertilization pool elemental you fought off, though this one looks a bit bigger, wilder, and less... gametic.
It's smaller than your boat, and likely wouldn't be able to just pull it under like it did to the KT boat, but probably not something you'd want going to town on your craft.
If they can start polling their barge/boat away from what’s going on, Galingal will start doing that. If there’s no way to get the boat past whatever is out there, Galingal will stay quiet and hope the thing doesn’t notice then.
It's almost certain to notice you, whether it has an issue with your presence and takes you on after dealing with the KT, you don't know, but it's only maybe a hundred feet from you and closing on the KT that is 40 feet from you.

Lia offers to Galingal, “I’m exhausted, but I can try to help us move along a little if we really need to?…”. She almost staggers under her own weight as she speaks. Her eyes and limbs drooping.
((I tried rolling Initiative over in Discord. Seems to work fine, but no better/worse than here. Lia is up first though. The alcove you're in, you'd have to go past where the elemental is currently to get back out into the main stream. There's a chance that you could get it going that way when it's occupied with the KT, but you're not in a big area, and it's headed for you.))

For now, Lia just stays still and quiet, while ‘readying’ a vicious mockery for if the thing takes any aggressive action towards the boat or the party.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Buppy stands by, sword at the ready, while Jimjar loads a bolt in his crossbow and sighs. "If this is the same sort of thing we fought in the KT village, this will be a waste of a bolt..."
The KT swims all out for your boat, confusion and terror on his face, as he makes for the side of the boat, grabbing hold and starting to climb aboard. Water surges up his back, wrapping around his throat and face and trying to pull him under.

We should have just killed the kuo-toa, Galingal thinks. They're leading the creature straight at us.
Galingal takes aim with his finger at the water that is trying to grab the kuo-toa and says "Ohjauspultti".
A flash of light outlines the raven image on his face and then similar light streaks out from Galingal's hand towards the water, not caring whether the KT gets caught in the attack or not.
Casts: Guiding Bolt at 2nd Level - Attack: 11 Damage: 17 radiant damage, and if it hits, the next attack has advantage from the water elemental being outlined in the radiant energy.
((2nd attack roll if this should have been at disadvantage: 9 ))
Stena stiffens as she scans the water for blood before shifting her tired eyes to studies the wake behind the fleeing KT for signs of pursuit.

"One of the water things like was in the fountain? Crushed the other KT."
Stena asks no one.
((Initiative? Does it look like the KT is going to make it to the boat before it catches them?))
It'll be close, initiative if you want to do more than let it play out and hope you're ignored!
