Galingal nods in agreement with Stena's assessment of their situation. Water they have, but food is always going to be a challenge until they get more equipment or find another community.
When they see a possible site to forage, even as they keep on through the day, he'll do his best to assist Stena.

Stena takes in Lia's state with an appraising eye, but says nothing. It does remind her she needs to hack off her hair before it gets any longer though, to avoid the mess Lia ended up with and not become a distraction.
Lia's compliments catch Stena wrongfooted and her stony expression changes to tight and distrustful, eyes narrowed. Her face slowly relaxes to mild discomfort as she starts to see the woman is being serious in her praise and thanks. He mumbles a gruff as she accepts the arrows.
"It's fine. Don't mention it."
She stands awkwardly for a few beats before muttering something indescribable and puts some distance, and I'd possible, a wall between them.

Stena will let Jimjar and the rest know of her foraging plans for the day and instruct them to pet her know if they spot water flowing into the lake.

Neth keeps to himself, attempting to help forage or fish if the others would take his help.

Neth is slowly attempting to gather supplies he needs to summon his familiar again, other than what he already brought with him. Feeling cutoff from his patron he has started to slip into a brooding mood.
((I guess for all the times that when you mouse over it shows a 4d6 or something, eventually it'll show something that actually matches the total.))
Stena finds some edible fungus, adding to their stores, while Neth finds he's got a knack for using the fish man's harpoon, managing to hook a strange, three-eyed, heavily plated fish that Buppido ensures him is good eating.
The derro's close shave with death by fish man consumption has worked a change on the odd little fellow. Especially on hearing that it was Stena that risked herself to save him. He has since washed his hair and beard, using his short sword to trim them into some semblance of tidiness, and when not actively working to keep the boat on track will follow Stena around, but at a distance. When the boat passes through full darkness, she's able to vanish from his sight, but when fungus or moss illuminates the party, he finds her again. He hasn't said anything to her, and hasn't approached within ten feet, even moving back if she were to approach, but keeps looking at her and smiling, occasionally muttering to himself quietly. When she does vanish, he seems a bit uneasy, until he can see her again.

Stena is more than a little creeped out by a guy she was already not comfortable with. She also doesn't like that Neth is providing food but keeps that to herself.
She will check in on Ranador when she gets back from getting food, ensuring he is okay. She isn't thrilled he is unarmed again but doesn't really have another weapon for him at the moment.
Stena tosses Ranador the practice blade and he catches it and almost immediately drops it and goes even paler as a four inch long splinter is sticking out of his palm. He grits his teeth and goes to pull it out, yanking it free and sending a dribble of blood to the deck as he presses the wound to his mouth in pain.
There's a gasp as the watching Buppido starts forward, before glancing at Stena and stepping back until anyone requests his help.
She helps find some cleanish cloth, and will ask Lia to clean it even more for him, before wrapping it.
"Going to be honest, not the best start but a squad mate once dropped their dagger on their foot while they were training, so it could have been worse. If ye are still game to try we can give it another go...tomorrow?"
Galingal watches Stena and Ranador with curiosity. Galingal does not remember his own training as a young shadar-kai in the service of the Queen. That was too many lifetimes ago. But he is sure it did not involve encouragement and having injuries looked after with real concern.
"You need learn faster," Galingal says to Ranador in accented elvish. "Or will die here."
Galingal nods as Ranador picks the wood back up, ready to try again. He looks over to Stena to see if she will continue with the boy. He lets his eyes drift past her, watching Buppido at the same time. Stena will have a whole troop of misfits following her if she's not careful.

((Ah, when I hovered it said it was a 20+3. Interesting that it is the same result, but I guess the odds permit it!))

"Aye'm not mad at ye, ye did yer best. Aye'm just worried ye don't have something to protect yerself with now."
She places her hand on her shortsword and considers the boy before deciding against giving him it.
"Aye'm afraid the sword might be a bit much without..."
She looks around the room and finds somethings that approximate wooden swords from all the garbage. She tosses him one.
"Some training. Ye aren't going to be proficient for a while but we can get ye started. Sound okay? We'll get ye a sword at Gracklstack. "
She'll show him the basic stances and have him practice them with the wooden sword while he isn't on watch.
