After Sweeps who was looking deathly pale, Sunny will make her way around the others wrapping and binding while they search starting with Gabriel then Sylvio. She will require some small amount of rest before she can do more for Amadi or herself.
@DM let me know when you need rolls for Healer's Feat of the others, don't want to advance my turns too quickly for the timeline.
"Ah, yes Sweeps, you do look a bit worse for wear don't you? I think if we could find a place to rest even for a short while, an hour at most, would be very beneficial to us. Perhaps back to the house we visited earlier. They would surely take us in." Amadi said
"I agree, the house would be a safer space and we can check to be sure they are still well. The woman should be released from its ill effects as I have been." Sunny offers as she works bandaging her friends' injuries quickly.
“Many thanks, Sunny”Sweeps thanks Sunny as the ranger wraps the bandages around his midsection and provides some comfort. “The house sounds like as good a place as any. Would like to make sure they are feeling better. What do we do with this mess?” he gestures down at the box with the putrid mess in it. “Will the Captain even believe us?” Sweeps will help Sylvio search the chained figure for any additional clues or information.
"I think we have to try the captain" says Gabriel, flexing his arm where Sunny has bandaged one of his wounds and nodding appreciatively.
"The family's house does sound good - hopefully the poor lady is recovering now that the evil has been removed. Hey! Maybe she'll bear witness for us?"
Doubt takes hold of the heroes’ minds as they discuss their next step. Sunny starts healing her companions to the best of her practical abilities while the party considers contacting Ironwood and if the half-orc would even believe them. Sylvio goes towards the chained figure and counts with Sweeps helps to examine it.
It was not the first time the elf or the genasi saw a lifeless body. Truth be told, no adventurer becomes experienced without seeing and enacting his fair share of death. But even then, they had never seen a corpse melting. At first they think the crimson figure is just bloodied, but on a close inspection they notice that the cadaver and even its chains were melting into a dark ichor. The stench was many times better than that of the zombies, but still putrid by any metric. The humanoid wore no cloth, just metal, and in that there was no weapon or piece of paper. No item at all.
If they were to look at the fallen enemy, Gabriel and Amadi would immediately understand what was happening with its remains. Extraplanar creatures dissolve in dust or blood when they are killed on the material plane and devils become foul, dark blood. There was no doubt in the slightest. They fought and bested a chain devil. A jailer of the Hells. Not the lowest of the creatures in Baator, but no mastermind by its own. Could that mean their true enemy was higher level fiend? Or a mage capable of controlling at the very least such middling evil?
Notes: Assuming Sylvio or Sweeps point that the chained corpse is melting, Gabriel and Amadi will immediately understand it is a Chained Devil - a creature that is a torturer, not a planner. Their training will also let them know that this mean they are dealing with either a higher ranking devil or someone capable of controlling the Chained Devil. Any character who is told as much can make a Religion Check (DC 15) to see what they know about the hierarchy of Baator or a History check (DC 12) to see what kind of mages in Waterdeep are adept of this kind of magic.
@Everyone, what is your next step? @Althax, roll me a History Check with advantage. DC 16.

(sorry slow to post - quick post to add healer's feat health for Gabriel and Sylvio for now - Gabriel heals 12 Sylvio heals 14 )
Sunny listens quietly as the others discuss the creatures, not sure what to add but tries to recall anything she's heard while in town or on her travels about such things. Religion4History20
Sylvio watches in disgust and fascination as the body melts away. “Well we will-a not get clues from-a these ones.” He spits to the side but spends a moment thinking about the creatures and trying to remember if he has ever heard of them.
When Gabriel and Amadi tell them about devils and controlling them he thinks about those he has heard about in the city that have magic and power. The elites who use their wealth, power, and reputation to keep others like him down.
Sunny reaches out a hand to Sylvio, "Come along friend, lets get back to the house and see if they'll show some pity." Then looks him over, "yes, I'm sure we'll get it."

Sweeps watches the chain devil dissolve with disgust. He spent many years mucking out stables in the Sea Ward and other rich areas around the city, and he thinks a moment to see who could summon such a creature. History: 10.
“Yes, rest would be nice. Just a short breather. Then we can take the box to the Captain”Sweeps follows the others to the house. Still searching his memories for who could do such a thing.

As they travel back to the house, given time, Sunny will use her last three spell slots laying a gentle hand on each as they walk healing Amadi, Sweeps and herself with a cure wounds used at first level.
{Although I like the new rolls a little better - it didn't like my addition of looking forward to a rest. Rolls were 4, 7, and 11 respectively - sorry Amadi}

(sorry, somehow I missed the update)
Amadi considered the melting body and the implications of who or what this creature was. He tried to think who in the city could summon or bargain with such a creature or its masters.
Sunny is no cleric, but she lives lose to nature, its spirits and essence. She was taught about its balance and about many of the creatures that threaten it. Amongst those creatures few are as deadly as the fiends and amongst the fiends the most perfidious are no others than the devils. Former mortal souls, damned by their actions or an unfair pact signed out of ambition or despair. They are structured in castes, more than species. Chained Devils, like the one the party just defeated, is considered the second most powerful of the lesser devils. A torturer and a jailer on Nine Hells of Baator. It could only be sent by its superiors, if it was sent from the Nine. Their immediate superiors, the Bone Devils, are tasked with law-enforcement amongst their kind so it was unlikely one of them sent the figure in chains. No, if it was sent by another of its kind then it was sent by Greater Devils or, gods forbid, by an archdevil.
Amadi thinks under a more secular approach. Which organizations on the City of Splendors could summon the now fallen devil. Turns out that it is not hard for him to think of suspects. As a cleric, Brightflame knows there were always devil worship in Waterdeep and more than a few are inspired by the cult of Asmodeus in Neverwinter. The priests of those religions, if one could call them as such, are usually prolific on the summon of fiends. Besides, and more glaring for the follower of Gond, the Crown of the North houses an embassy of a magecrocacy whose leaders are well know summoners of infernal creatures and undead – Thay. The corpses of the zombies and the nature of the curse behind the now broken kotoribako seemed all too similar to something the Red Wizards could do.
Sylvio reflects upon the inner workings of the city, about what could be a next step, as his companions all decide in favor to moving towards Robb and Clare’s home. The first thing they notice is that the further they went from the streets of the battle more life there seems to be around. People moving and talking, going about their mourning routines. Children play, charts are drawn by dunkey and, eventually, gaunt horses. In few minutes the adventurers arrive in front of the shackle. Its window is open and Clare notices you visibly very hurt company approaching.
All of you notice two things. The first is that there is more collor on her skin. She is standing and looking visibly healthier. The other is that she is clearly surprise.
“By the gods!” She says opening her door. “What happened to you?!” As each of you look at your companions state, full of cuts and bruises, bloodied and muddied, probably soiled by the wounds of the undead you recently bested, you understand her reaction. “Doesn’t matter. Get inside. I will boil some water and you can tell me as we clean those wounds.”
Notes: You arrive at Robb and Clare's home. Robb is nowhere to be seem and by the talk you had with him before you assume he is already working at the docks. Did anyone pack what remained of the kotoribako?
Gabriel sets the remains of of the kotoribako down and gratefully accepts any seat on offer. "It is so good to see you getting better, Clare. We think that we have seen off the evil in this area, although my colleagues have some worrying theories that suggest we may not be completely finished yet"

Sylvio enters the home and stands back against a wall, sliding down to sit with his back to the wall and closes his eyes to rest for a time and think about what they have gone through. He doesn’t sleep and he hears everything around but just needs a few minutes to rest.
Sunny steps inside carefully aware of her large size and gratefully accepts their assistance. "We are grateful for your kindness and in need of it at the moment."
She shares what she has considered over their walk with the others as they rest.
