The prone orc takes the full blast of green energy coursing from Serena. She sees his body rise and twitch, then relax, defeated, into the pile of orc corpses beneath him.
Banjo continues to fade in and out. The shouting and sparking of magical energies is a muted haze around him. He cannot recall how many Orcs remain, or if he ever knew how many there were. He continues to sit beside Tresvar and readies another gout of dragon's breath should another Orc pass through the flame wall.

The orc stumbles as the pain from Livia's spell makes it difficult for him to see. He walks right into Banjo's blast of fire as he runs at Araynia, taking full damge.
He manages to bound over Tresvar lying still in the entrance way and finally, reaking of fury and burnt orc hair, he strikes at Araynia with his greataxe:
The orc drops to his knees, shaken by the force of Serena's blast. Araynia and Serena hop out of the way as his corpse topples face forward onto the floor.
The companions, bruised and battered, look around in the silent aftermath.

Serena quickly looks out the corridor and listens, trying to make sure no more orcs are approaching at the moment, Flappy helping out with that. Perception: 6
"Should we try to rest here or try to make it back to those dwarves?"She says, looking back at Banjo and Livia. "Check if Tresvar still has that potion of healing she had before? It would be good to have her on her feet if there are more orcs inbound."
"I could keep going right now, though..." indicating Banjo, whose "standing" seems it could better be described as "trying not to fall down", Livia shakes her head, allowing her frail voice to trail off. Then, she picks up again. "Maybe we should take a different approach, going forward. Carelessly using all our strength against each enemy, then having to rest immediately after every time, slows us down by a lot. There seems to be so much to see here, and yet all we do is kill some Orcs and rest. And regarding the potion... are you sure we should use it now? She will wake up eventually, and if you want to stop anyway..." Perhaps this was the adventurer's way, which Livia is only slowly learning, and yet she finds it illogical. Was she doing too little, which forced the others to do much more to compensate?
Banjo listens to the conversation without answering... pausing to marvel for a moment at why his hands look big and green. He continues to sit on his small pile of Orcs.

Serena goes and sits by Tresvars side. "It seems we have to rest for a while now either way."She says with a small sigh, laying her hand on the dragon born. "I would prefer using up our strength to getting killed by those orcs. I think we have handled things pretty well so far. It was a nice touch sending that ogre and his pets on their way Livia, but I think a fight here might have been inevitable, and even if we will hopefully find more peaceful solutions to our problems down here we must be prepared to fight as well I think. I suppose we could rest here then until Tresvar comes around. What do you say?" She says, turning to Banjo and Araynia. Meanwhile Flappy keeps watch out in the corridor.

The Orc winces and involuntarily clutches his head as Livia's spell strikes his mind.
Araynia steps to the side and lines up another shot:
Attack: 8 Damage: 4
The arrow flies true, pentrating his armor.
With a screeching growl, the orc breaks the shaft off and charges at Araynia!
As he comes through the illusory fire, Banjo lets loose his readied blast of fire (Banjo, roll damage)
