Daventry stares murder daggers at the red-head. Her voice is sickly sweet, a false sympathetic concern tinged with vitriol.
"Oh, it's you! I'm *so* sorry about that condition of yours which you were researching so *diligently* when you spilled ale all over your notes. I understand when those creatures get embedded deep down there, they itch to high heavens and cause a smell that could curdle cheese. It's *no wonder* you were so distracted! I heard from a doctor friend that they like damp red hair the most, so it must be a *particularly* challenging time for you. Good luck, and all that!"
Daventry gives a wave that seems almost friendly as she continues on.
Triäsa seems to mostly shrug off the comment directed at her, but looks about ready to go after the red-haired woman when she makes a remark about Ludolf. However, she pauses to consider the man's suggestion to ignore the comments and seems ready to disregard it when Daventry jumps in.
It's all she can do to not burst out laughing. She moves to walk alongside the woman as she departs. Triäsa waits until they are certainly out of earshot of the group to speak. "Beautifully said Dav!" She gives the woman a big smile. Clearly whatever irratation she might have had has faded quickly.
As you walk past the group you hear the women mutter something, suddenly Fembris turns to Daventry and she pours both bottles of champagne out all over your head. Howels of laughter can be heard from the group as you pass them by.
"We are not even yet but closer." The red-headed women says with a sly smile.

"Leave it Dav!" Ludolf says with a stern voice now. "That is a battle for another day." He adds and ushers Daventry along towards the Pillars of Pedagogy. If she let's him he will then meticulously remove any champagne from her, with magic, real magic.
Triäsa immediately moves over, touching Fembris as she starts signing softly:
'Music and magic mingle, Surround around this space. Set vibrations within this entity To reveal enchantment within.'
Casting Identify she attempts to learn what spell affected the gnome.
She then quickly tries to usher Fembris and the others away. As they go she quietly says to the others. "Make note if there are any other witnesses that might have seen this." She tries to look herself.
You learn that it was definitely a Suggestion spell. It seems to have run it's course and is no longer affecting her. There are some people meandering through the courtyard though it does not appear that this has garnered much attention. You do notice the drow does not seem as amused by the prank as the rest of the crew. He looks at you all with a very very slight look of sympathy. In moment it is gone and he rejoins the others walking away.

A flash of energy courses through Daventry, her eyes alit. She closes the distance to the woman in a split second, before Ludolf or the others can stop her, her cape billowing, her body almost trailing light in addition to trailing champagne droplets. Were it not for the control over her body that her spell gave her, she'd surely crash into the woman - instead she stops mere inches from her, up in her face.
"You vapid *****. You can hurl insults at me plenty, I've thicker skin than you and can weather more than a spilt drink. But if you ever, EVER, violate the mind of one of my friends again, I will put a blade so far up your ass that all you'll smell will be steel and shit before you die. This is your one and final warning."
She turns and stalks back to her group. A ghostly hand making a very rude gesture appears in front of the red-head's face, moving as she does so that no matter what, the rude gesture is right in front of her until the spell fades from distance.
The red haired women lets out a some unidentifiable high pitched noise as you rapidly approach her. She flinches and immediately goes invisible, you hear a hard thud as something heavy hits the ground. The dwarf is then struck by the now invisible mage knocking him back and to the ground. The two tabaxi caught off guard take two steps back in a bit of fear as the sudden chaos unfolds.
As Daventry walks away the mage reappears on the ground, pale and shaken. The others help the dwarf and women to their feet and they begin to walk away. Triäsa notes the Drow seems to linger a bit longer before finally walking with the others.
The rest of your trip to the Mansion is uneventful, except for one thing that strikes Triäsa and Pardot as a bit odd. Multiple people are passing you and perhaps one out of every 7 or 8 is humming the same nursey rhyme. You can't help but feel that it is a very catchy tune, you even feel yourself mutter the words from time to time.
See a mother scything wheat Forgotten husband sleeping near With one swing she took his feet With another took his ear
Does the shadow have a name? SHEMSHIME Causes grief, avoids the blame SHEMSHIME
Otherwise, you find your portal and enter without any difficulty. For the most part the mansion is as you left it but considerably cleaner. You would be greeted at the door by Coriander and Cumin who are over the moon to see you again. They will agree to make whatever you would like as a feast to celebrate your home coming. It seems there is nothing the pantry at this Mansion does not have.
Pardot converses with Pockets who is eager to be back with his cat brothers and sisters (there are about 20 in total...) He does not have any preferences as long as the room has a window for him to look out. The rooms on the third floor are new and he is eager to explore this new area.
As you all sit down for what is sure to be an extravagant meal. You have some time to discuss the day, your new situations and your plans for the future.
(I didn't feel the need to play out every interaction up to dinnner but feel free to do so yourselves. I will probably leave things here for a while until you all have an idea on your next steps.)

Fembris is a bit shaken but Davy wraps his arm around her in comfort. He doesn't say anything but she seems to lighten up quickly, "I hope those little helpers can magic up some more drink. Sorry about your hat Dav." She smiles appreciatively that you checked on her.

"It's a hat. It'll get rained on and worse before its time is over." She pats Fembris on the shoulder. "But I don't take kindly to anyone messing with my friends like that. Vile and cowardly. Who was that woman and her little gang?"
"I must say I enjoyed the performance Daventry..." Ludolf says with a smile as Dav returns. "...but that one will return for you." He adds a bit more serious. "We should indeed find out more about those people before confronting them again. Having enemies like that within these walls might prove to be more than a distraction I fear."He finishes.
Entering the pocket dimension and arriving back in the mansion, Triäsa says, "Ok, that woman needs to be taught a thing or two about manners! I was able to determine that she castSuggestionon poor Fembris here."
She pauses to look at the gnome. "You are alright, are you not?"
She then continues. "Anyhow, that is clearly an attack. Was not the penalty for attacking others here in Candlekeep expulsion? I think that drow that was with them did not like what was happening. If we could talk to her, I bet she would support our case. The evidence is on our side. I say we lodge a formal complant." She looks about at her companions. "Does anyone know who she is exactly? We will need to figure that out first."
Triäsa does not even pause for anyone to respond. "So, we do not need to attack her or anything like that to get back at her. We will let the rules of Candlekeep stand on our side and have that vile wretch kicked out!"
She turns and looks pointedly at Ludolf. "What do you say?"
"Oh, and does anyone else find that nursery rhyme creepy? Why is everyone saying it?" She shakes her head.
"There's definitely something strange about the rhyme. It's quite catchy though."Pardot says, pondering, "Didn't we hear it somewhere before? It sounds familiar..."
Triäsa tries to recall if she might know who the woman is. (INT: 4, if History applies +2 or Arcana +4)
