"There you are." Ludolf mutters and turns his gray piercing eyes on the nightmarish creature and blasts it with grey eldritch crackling force. Eldritch blast: 23 Force: 9 He then tries to shield Triäsa with his body.

Swarmed by the bats, Daventry raises up a hand to begin to blast them away with a magical shield... but spotting the other creature she thinks otherwise of her limited magical reserves. She swings her blade up through the swarm to attempt to disperse it, realizing her companions are focused on the other creature but she can't help while distracted by the bats.
Actually, Dav is going to try to make it to flank the beast, if she can. After her action surge attack, she'll use her movement to get opposite of the monster, and risk the attack of opportunity from the bats, because they'll explode if they make a move to follow.
You take down another chunk of bats. You would estimate there is perhaps 1 more than half of them remaining as they bite and claw you as you rush to the strange beast.
Attack: 22
Damage: 5
The strange creature dimly lit by the Faire fire silently and spasticly looks to the two combatants in front of it as it's form starts to blur and pixelate dissolving softly in cold dark air. You all see the creature still dimly lit by the Pardot's magic reappear about 30 feet down the corridor. It the turns and dashes out of sight it seems to have gone down the Northeast corridor before you lose sight of it..
Triassa and Pardot are up.

Triäsa almost starts to go after the creature. "I think it's using interplanar travel to jump, kind of like I do," she comments, mostly to herself.
Somewhat blocked by Ludolf, and not really wanting to run off alone, she turns now to where Daventry is still fighting off the bats. She lifts her light crossbow and tries to take a shot at them.
"Are you okay Triäsa?" Ludolf says in a worried tone, trying to see if she is injured. "At least we have confirmation that the Meenlock's are here. I suggest you take rear guard Klin as we advance upon their nest."
((I’d like to potentially stay in initiative just to see if anyone decides to chase… If not, obviously drop out~))
Seeing the bats drop Pardot runs towards the direction the glowing beast ran, speaking quickly to Klin, knowing that he is the fastest of them, saying, “Klin! Do you think you can catch it?!”
@team - If the thing misty step, or similar, to leave reach, and then ran, that would have been it’s action and movement. Being pretty similar to a full move and dash action by a fast player. Pardot is slow unfortunately, at only 25 feet :( But I think Klin with 40 feet (or someone else?) might have a chance to get eyes on it, or maybe even back into range. It’s still glowing for another 9 rounds (including the current ‘round’), so wont be able to hide easily.
Klin before you reach the monster you get to another branch in the tunnel. The new branch heads to the north the main hall continues along toward the east. Roll perception to see if you can tell which way it went.

The creature is illuminated in Pardot's dim starlight. You can tell the creature is annoyed by the presence of light.

Action: Booming Blade Attack: 20 Damage: 11, on move damage: 3
Determinant: I might action surge depending on what happens with this attack vs Swarm 3.

@Daventry -- You are able to knock a few of the bats from the sky but the majority of the swarm remains.

Daventry shouts a curse and goes at the bats once more, sword arcing back downward into the swarm, trailing light and energy.
Action Surge: Booming Blade Attack: 12 Damage: 7, on move damage: 5
Another determinant if that kills the swarm.

Not being the fastest, Pardot will focus on the nuisance that is the bats, cursing as the beast seems to be getting away.

Klin is up then the rest of you. You will have to decide quick if you are giving chase.
