"Wait outside of the mine, this will only take a moment, I think." Ludolf says to the others and tries to set off the explosives to seal the tunnel. Requested check: 24
The small, deadly sticks of dynamite deftly float through the air. Each of the three nestle softly and gently into the opening of the cave. Once they are in place it does not take much force or energy to ignite them and the entire wall collapse under the weight of a massive explosion. While these oozes can escape from the smallest of holes you feel rather confident this is tightly sealed and would take considerable effort to open.
(if there is anything else you wanted to do in the mine no problem but sounded like you were heading back outside?)
As you all emerge from the mine you find the sun is high in the sky and it's light is blinding as it beats down on you. The air is cold with a certain bite to it but you feel as if a great weight has been lifted and the oppressive dreariness is gone. You can appreciate once again the beautiful view as the mountain towers over the land below and again you see clear out to the ocean. Squinting you can even make out Candlekeep far in the distance. Despite the bright sun and better weather, a heavy fog continues to swirl about your feet. It is thick and wet and given the rest of the conditions the fog feels highly unnatural. The road back to Vermeillon winds to the south, the way you came. Along this road you see the cemetery.

Ludolf comes out of the mine after the others, brushing the dust off his grey coat but with an uncharacteristic wide smile on his lips. He then takes a moment with his team to admire the view. "We've done a good thing here in Vermeillon team, I sense the curse of this place is lifted, but I fear we have still the portal and Chalet Brantifax to investigate before we can return to Candlekeep. But first we should pay a visit to that graveyard." He says, ready after a while to move on, first trying to find some appropriate flowers to put on the grave of Mr. Grosvenors parents. Investigation if needed: 15
Triäsa breathes a sigh of relief once outside the mine. "Finally. Although I could do without this fog." She looks around tiredly. "So, what are we doing with the graveyard? I'd like somewhere warm and comfortable to rest."
"I promised Mr Grosvenor back in Maerin to put flowers on his parents grave, which should be at the graveyard we passed on our way here. Then we could go back to the mayors house for a proper rest before we move on to Chalet Brantifax and that portal. My guess is that this rest will be much more pleasant than our last one there." Ludolf says to Triäsa, still smiling. "I wouldn't mind some help with finding suitable flowers to put on a grave though."He adds looking around for such.
"You should conjure up the pocket dimension, so perhaps I can get some proper sleep in a proper bed - if only for a couple hours." Triäsa says to Ludolf. "And sure, let's find some flowers. In the snow. Up in the mountains. No problem." She shakes her head. "Ok, no... there should be something around. Sorry, I'm just tired." (Nature Check: 7, to see if she can think of places flowers might persist in this climate.)
(Nature check with Disadvantage - so lowest of this roll and the above: 9)
"Umm, yes, well I never really cared so much for flowers before." Ludolf says, seemingly hurt by Triäsa's comment. "I'll promise you will have a good rest soon, let's get back to Vermeillon, the flowers and the graveyard can wait." He says, even allowing Triäsa to lean on him if it helps her to get back to the village.
"No, no, sorry I snapped at you, maybe we will see some flowers." Triäsa does take up Ludolf's offer to lean on him a bit, while also trying to help him locate flowers.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Taking a deep breath of fresh air once they are outside the cave and away from the dust of the cave in, Pardot listens to the others and keeps his eyes open ((19)) for something that would be suitable to place on a grave, looking forward to a peaceful rest later, and then continuing their investigation.
You all walk calmly back to the village and the trek is mercifully uneventful. On your travels you do not see any flowers or foliage getting the sense it might be difficult to find anything in this weather and altitude.
You soon find yourselves back in front of the former Mayor's home. You continue on in front of the former mansion to the east where a second road exits town appears to curve itself higher into the mountain. This road appears smaller, more of a private driveway rather than a main road. It is covered a thin layer of snow and does not appear to be recently traveled. You can see up this road about 50 yard then it bends back to the west and out of sight. The road is lined with tall trees with pine cones and needles. On the branches of these trees sit about 20 ravens. They silent stare at your party unflinching in your presence.
The mist seems heavier here as it swirls ominously around your feet as it pours down the drive.

Daventry breathes deep of the mountain air as they emerge from the tunnel. She looks pretty haggard, but refreshed to be outside the mine. The runes on her blade fade to the normal soft glow, and she takes a spare cloth and wipes off miscellaneous gore from the weapon.
As Ludolf and Triasa talk of flowers, Daventry gives them a cocked grin. "You know, some pretty wildflowers do grow where it's cold, sometimes. Back home, as winter ends, there's these flowers that bloom a nice cherry red once the last frost of the season has happened, before the snow melts. Dunno if they're found this far south, but who knows what an enterprising fellow could find."She gives Ludolf a quick eyebrow waggle and a wink.
Looking at Klin and Pardot, Daventry nods. "After this, I've decided I'm a girl of open skies and seas, be it a day dotted with clouds or night filled with stars. Leave the mines to the dwarves and gnomes."
"No Triäsa, you should rest now." Ludolf says helping her inside. "Pardot, can you see if those ravens have anything useful to convey?" He says to the halfling before going inside.
Pardot sighs, and says, "Ah... as I said in the mine, I prepared different natural magicks today, and am unable to speak with them today..."((maybe I should always prep this... there seem to always been a lot of animals around~))
"Yes, yes, I forgot, we are all a bit tired I guess." Ludolf says apologetically as he disappears into the mayors house. "Can I take you to one of the beds upstairs or would you prefer resting in the pocket dimension Triäsa?" He asks the half-elven bard. "It will still only be stable for about four hours I'm afraid."
Daventry looks to Ludolf. "Don't you have a raven? Can't he, I dunno, speak raven at the ravens, figure out why they're staring at us like a ten-copper sideshow?"
"No, I don't think so Daventry, but we can try I guess." Ludolf says, sounding a bit tired himself, and sends Edgar up to the other ravens to see if they somehow can communicate.
Edgar takes to the air and approaches the tree line filled with ravens. As he gets within 10 feet of the nearest raven the entire flock takes to the air in unison and flies off along the road to the north. Edgar is left alone on solitary branch.
