"A lot of strange things are happening and I have a strong feeling they are all connected." Ludolf says, his face furrowed as he looks at Triäsa's shoulder.
((I picked a helluva day to not log in :P anyway...onward!))
Pardot tries to get as many details from the group of elves as possible, clearly very surprised by the news. He quickly excuses himself, telling the group that he hopes to see them at the Keep in the future, and is off to find his companions to share what he's learned. As he stands up he looks to the pint in his hand and sighs, realizing tonight may not be the night for revelry, though he can't let it go to waste. Stopping next to a table to finish his drink and set the glass down, he looks past the mug at his lips as the stars begin to literally fall from the sky. Freezing in place he moves only his hand to put the mug down as he stairs, fixated on the skies above.
It was only as Daventry approaches him does he begin to blink again and start to move. He first replies, "I... I... no."taking a deep breath to calm himself. "There can be no prophecies or signs if they stars themselves are gone." Pulling himself from the brink of shock he then looks at the symbol on his friend's arm and says, "That... is the same symbol from the cave, and the key... Though, I do not know what it means..." Then remembering what he'd recently learned adds, "We need to find the others! Candlekeep itself also is in danger. They have locked the doors and are allowing no one to enter or leave. We must learn what this," gesturing first towards the new mark on her arm, and then up to the sky as a whole, "means. And I am at a loss..."
Daventry puts a hand on Pardot's shoulder. "Fistandia had an extensive study of the stars in her mansion... With your charts and that, perhaps we can dig into the meaning of this all." She smiles at the halfling. "Gods know, I'm relying on your guidance through all this..."
She looks up at the sky. "We need to get to Candlekeep."
@Klin -- You bolt from the Bored Weasel just in time to see the last of the stars fall from the sky. You see your companions immediately. At least most of them. Daventry, Ludolf and Pardot are standing talking to a women with auburn hair. You do not recognize her at all.

"Getting back to Candlekeep is probably smart. But Fistandia is important in all this. Our first focus should be her recovery. Which might still mean getting to Candlekeep." Triäsa says. As Ludolf looks, there is nothing obvious about her shoulder - at least not that can be see with the shirt she has on.
Seeing the symbol on Daventry's forearm, she asks, "We do still have the key with that symbol?" She glances up at the sky. "And I wonder if the box that we have up is somehow connected." She looks at Daventry, "Is that symbol in your strange book perhaps?"
Seeing the symbol on Daventry's forearm, she asks, "We do still have the key with that symbol?"
"Yes. I've got the key and the paper tracing I first did, as well as some cufflinks."Pardot says. "And if it's now turning up on Dav with her other star markings, it's gotta be connected somehow. We do need to help wake Fistandia up. But this is bigger than us..."
"Yes, this could be affecting all of excistence, bringing back Fistandia is paramount, she would know more about what is happening, I know it." Ludolf says.
"Yes, she just decided for a new hair colour it seems."Ludolf says to Klin, ushering everyone along to the room at the Inn. "What about Fistandia Klin, is she okay?"
"The color change just happened. I spoke with my mother - somehow - and now it seems my hair has taken on her color." Triäsa explains."Not sure what else."
You all linger a bit longer than the rest of the crowd staring at the starless sky, pondering the meaning and any possible connections to your recent adventures. Eventually the uncomfortable silence settles in and slowly you make your way back to your room in the Bored Weasel. The gnome lies in the bed just as you left her. Her breathing is easy but shallow. Her complexion is pale and cool. You all find a place to sleep and slowly you drift into an uneasy slumber.
You awaken with the sun the next morning. The sun, thankfully that star has not fallen. It's bright light and summer heat are a welcome reprise from the strange cool night before. Your host greets you warmly in the morning and provides you with any food or drink you want for free. He makes casual conversation about the night before. Assuming you head to the stables you will find your wagon and steeds well care for. They are fed, groomed and you find a fresh layer of straw in the back.
It is a few days travel back to Candlekeep or will the road take you somewhere else? Will the stars be back tonight or are they gone forever?

(Before we leave, Daventry would want to see about selling the loot we found, acquiring a vial of holy water or the silver dust for Protection Against Good and Evil, and leaving a note for Thavol's friend)
Before bed Pardot refreshes his stash of berries for the next day and then falls asleep on the floor on his bear hides. In the morning he packs them, and the rest of his gear up, sighing as he looks at his star map, which is now a map of... well nothing perhaps... When Daventry briefly mentions a stop at the shop he says he'd like to join ((I'd like to get the same for Protection in case I need it later, as well as special runic sticks for augury)). After that he's ready to hit the road and get back to Candlekeep with haste.
Triäsa will offer to help Daventry trace down holy water or silver dust. And accompany her in leaving the note.
In the morning she does not put on her leather armor, instead packing it up neatly to carry it with her. She sings a brief song, the words of some arcane tongue. As she sings, her eyes change to a metallic golden color, akin to many elves. For those looking closely, it seems something is glowing beneath her shirt at her left shoulder. She quickly finishes casting the Mage Armor spell, which causes a strange, pixelated force to surround her then fade.
Triäsa seems oblivious to the side-effects of the spell and continues her preparations to depart.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Your shoulder, it is glowing Triäsa, is that where your mother touched you?" Ludolf asks the next morning.
During the journey back to Candlekeep Ludolf will watch over Fistandia in the cart while continuing his studies of ThE dArK hUnGeR for any clues to what is happening. Investigation: 21 + Guidance: 3
It is with great sadness that I must bear the news. In the mountains near Vermilion, the cursed creatures that claimed so many lives there took from this world a bright splash of color. Without Thavol's help, we would have never found our way up the mountain, never would have been able to delve into the nest of horrors that threatened all the land. Though it might ring hollow, Thavol died so that others may continue to live in the mountains he cherished, and his body has become one with the stone. He will be missed.
Respectfully,
Daventry of Candlekeep"
As she finishes penning the note, writing it in Thavol's shop (assuming his key was in the bag), she pauses a moment, looking at Triasa, seeing the hints of magical change in her friend, both similar and different to her own.
"The journey finds a way to change us all, doesn't it?"She looks at her signature. "I've not had a home in years, and it's questionable if Wyrwood ever really was one to begin with. I hope we can find a way to save our new one."
Daventry will attempt to study her own book during the trip... Looking for any repetition of the symbol branded on her forearm. She wears the steel-reinforced leather bracer over the brand, so it's not visible to passers by, but takes it off when she first pours through the tome at camp one night. She fortifies herself with her newfound protection before delving into the tome.
"A lot of strange things are happening and I have a strong feeling they are all connected." Ludolf says, his face furrowed as he looks at Triäsa's shoulder.
"Pardot... look at this. This is new." Daventry shows him the marking.
