You thoroughly and quickly search the room and come to two conclusions. First, this is some sort of spare room for visitors to the Firefly Cellar or perhaps overflow for the House of Rest above and it has not been used in a long time. Second, it is without a doubt very empty.

"Right, then. Daylight's burning, I guess." Daventry shouts up to Crinkle and Gailby, "Hey, hold up! We're just going to check out these rooms. Make sure nothing strange is afoot. I'd like to keep close, in case you run across anything strange, yeah?"
As she's focused on them, she flicks her hand towards one of the other doors (the next one, I suppose), and the mage hand dutifully opens it up.
Daventry calls out but the door at the of the hallway closes without a response. Having explored all if the doors to the left Daventry's ethereal hand opens the first door on the right.
This bedroom could be another wing of the library for all the books packed into the shelves that line the walls. Two five-foot-tall candlesticks in the middle of the room have magical flames flickering atop them—a welcome reprieve from the relatively dim light of the firefly lamps. There is a simple cushion on the floor and armoire placed neatly into one corner. The books are more mature than the ones upstairs. Perusing the titles they range a variety of topics of history and magics though nothing too extraordinary. There is a large section that talks almost exclusively on the art of book binding and restoration of ancient tomes. Books about fixing books...

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Daventry approaches one of the candles, briefly waving her hand towards the flame to see if it is of the "magical fire that still is fire and burns" kind or the "illusionary fire that still makes light in a continuous fashion but does not burn" kind.
Arcana: 23
If the latter, she'll try to take one of the candles from the stick.
She'll also open up the armoire, giving it a glance over.
Daventry runs her hand near the flame. Despite the bright light the flame gives off no heat. It seems to be the illusionary type of flame. Makes sense with all books in the room ready provide kindling in the case of a horrific accident.
Speaking of horrific accidents... Pardot heads over to the heavy armoire. Eager to see what secrets are hidden inside he flings open the doors with a surprising strength and vigor! The heavy piece of furniture rocks and sways as the front wooden legs are not ready for the motion. The wooden splinters and cracks as the armoire tilts forward threaten to fall and crush the halfling under it's weight. Fortunately the front of the armoire catches on an uneven portion of the floor and balances precariously on edge.
Relieved by your luck you let out a sigh and turn to see what else there is to see in the room. Unfortunately it seems your luck as turned as a mouse chooses this moment to jump on top of the large wooden cabinet. It teeters and totters with the added weight listing forward and lurching to crush you underneath.
Fortunately, the open doors are filled with robes and and clothing but the impact still hurts as you take 2 Bludgeon/Bad luck damage. You also find yourself trapped inside and underneath a very very heavy armoire. It's pitch black and from somewhere in the darkness you could swear you hear a familiar laugh.
Daventry you see all this happen in slow motion. A comedy of events to surreal to act upon.
Ludolf and Triäsa you open the next door and are perhaps a bit surprised at what you find. This room is furnished with a bed, a washbasin, and a writing desk. The desk has a tiny clockwork oyster resting on it. None of that is particularly interesting but sitting at the desk, head in hands is a female tabaxi. She is rocking back and forth. Not singing but clearly disturbed by something. She makes no motion to you as you open the door and does not seem to notice your presence.
It is at this point you hear a thunderous crash from next door. The noise seems to wake the tabaxi from whatever state it was in. She lifts her head and yells in a panic, "That's it I am getting out of here! I can't take one more moment in this prison." She then rushes toward the two of you with remarkable feline agility. Given your hightened senses you will each have an opportunity to react before she reaches you.
With the sudden chaos erupting around you all of your guards against the curse drop. You can feel the cursed words creep back into your minds as you struggle to control yourself.

As the armoire falls on Pardot, trapping him underneath, he lets out a gasp of shock and surprise, and a bit of pain as it bonks his head. At the same time he suddenly loses all concentration and focus as the song comes unbidden to his lips. All those in the room can hear Pardot's quiet, but surprisingly mostly in tune, singing voice echo from the fallen cabinet.

You all break out into song simultaneously. The chorus of noise is very obnoxious thankfully none of you lose control like Klin or the other poor souls upstairs.
(You all can act normally with the following exceptions, you are singing so you can not talk or cast spells/abilities with verbal components. Anything you were concentrating on is lost as your concentration is broken.)
Daventry you stress and strain against the furniture and find you are just strong enough to lift it a few feet for Pardot to crawl out.
Pardot -- you notice the garments have a tags on them that says Varnyr. It seems this is her room.

Crawling out from underneath the cabinet, Pardot looks up to his friend and quickly gets out of the way so that she can drop it again. Humming the tune with a frustrated expression on his face Pardot sends a mental whisper to Daventry saying, “This was Varnyr’s room. She has quite the clothing selection in there. Also… I think I heard the Man in Black’s voice laughing at me… though perhaps that was just the bump on my head.” He adds the final line as he rubs a raising welt on his head.

As Triäsa starts to sing, she also tries to step out of the way of the tabaxi, not wanting to disturb her any more than she already is. She will try to see if there is anything else of interest in the room, starting with the desk and clockwork item. (Investigation: 23)
Eager to rid Candlekeep of the curse Ludolf starts to investigate the room for clues, perhaps a music box.
