Pardot looks to Marty one more time giving him a rub behind the ears looking for any sign of the beast he seems to be, and then nods and follows Ludolf out, with a quick bow to the sisters.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the group seperates from the sisters and recovenes, Daventry looks at her friends. "Right. Sword and bow I know how to fight, but snakes that turn ya to stone with a gaze? A bit more of a problem, that. Any ideas?"

"I believe what the sisters were describing is known as a medusa. As they mentioned it's gaze can turn you into stone. A mirror would be a suitable weapon to deal with it I think." Ludolf says, starting to look around the room for a mirror before continuing. "There are however a few other matters that we should discuss first." He says, taking a seat in a chair by Fistandia, checking that Klin is taking care of her properly. "The elven man from last night turned out to be the barber, named Ilam. As he finished with me this morning he discreetly gave me a note saying he wanted to meet us in his room this afternoon. I think it would be prudent to meet with him before doing any services to these sisters." He finishes with some contempt. "Also, when I just now returned to ask the sisters about the paintings, I entered their minds and I discovered that the wards that the bird set off will not be replaced until tomorrow and that the dragonborn I saw in the treeline yesterday seems to have been a servant that perished when the ward was set off. Even more interesting though, when I asked about the whereabouts of Sylvarie they all thought of the medusa. As far as I can see this can have two explanations, either they were simply too focused on the medusa still or..(dramatic pause)..Sylvarie is that medusa."He goes silent for a moment, letting the others in the team digest what he just has told them. "This in turn could mean that Sylvarie was always a medusa, but more likely the sisters somehow transformed her into one. Considering the illusions used on the sevants it is conceivable that they somehow used an illusion on Sylvarie too. I admit I'm not sure why they would go through this trouble with Sylvarie rather than simply kill her but perhaps it is part of some sadistic game tricking us into killing the one we should be trying to rescue."Luodolf finally stops talking and with a motion with his hand he invites any other thoughts on his somewhat deranged theory.
"I can add some information," Triäsa says. "I heard someone messing with the door to another room when I was back in mine. When I checked it was a kobold, evidently a worker here. But he confided he had been a drow and was transformed by the sisters. It was no type of magic I have seen and I could not dispel it. Perhaps it is a curse." She pauses for a moment before adding, "It seems something similar might transform Syvarie to a medusa."
She then looks at Ludolf, "I might add an additional theory about the Sisters thinking of the medusa when speaking of Sylvarie. Perhaps the medusa killed her. Or turned her to stone." She shrugs slightly, "Though I believe the first theory more likely, that it is Sylvarie."
Morty does not seem to care or appreciate in any way the pets behind his ear. Either he is not a dog or he just prefers belly rubs over head rubs.
The sister's nod at your plan. "We will await you here then. See you soon." Morgan says with a smile. Seth would escort you out the front door of the tower, you hear the door lock behind you.
@Daventry -- You would know the important information regarding medusas with that roll. Generally considered Evil so the spell would be helpful. You would also be aware of their gaze as Ludolf mentioned and that they are susceptible to their own image.

"That's interesting about the transformed kobold..."Pardot says thinking, and then adds with a frown, "That might also explain Morty, the dog. He... I don't think he's actually a dog. I couldn't speak with him the way I do other animals."Taking a second to think about the wards adds, "I'm sorry to hear that about the Dragonborn... Though perhaps we can use this opportunity? If we know when the sisters are away from their home we may be able to sneak in?"
Ludolf nods to the others. "Nothing in this place is what it seems I suspect. If we believe the medusa actually is Sylvarie we should try to rescue her, if we can think of a way to do that. Otherwise we should go after these sisters first, preferrably one by one. First we should speak to Ilam though, but most importantly..."He says, poiniting to the necklace Triäsa still wears. "..we should take a closer look at that and try to figure out all of it's properties."
Daventry ponders, while also looking for a mirror she can borrow or fashion some straps to in order to make a "shield".
"Those paintings, they are what cause the transformation, yeah? That's what Barleybreath said. So, two thoughts: if the painter paints you not as your ideal self, but instead as a kobold or Medusa, do you transform into such a beast? And what happens if someone were to take blade or fire to the painting, destroying it?"
Ludolf you sense two strong magics on the necklace. One is the same powerful illusion spell you detect on the servants and Seth. The other is a strong divination enchantment.

Triäsa will see if she can simply remove the necklace. "If you want, I can use my magic to try to identify the spells at work here Ludolf. Do we have a few minutes for the ritual? Or I can just cast it."
As Ludolf suspected the necklace has a strong divination enchantment. It can of course still just be the communication magic with the witches but there's likely more insidious magic hidden in that necklace, and a horrible thought crosses his mind. "I'm sorry for entering your minds but this might be an emergency. The necklace Triäsa is wearing could quite possibly be a sensor for the witches to spy on us, maybe both see and hear us. We should now investigate the necklace and see if that is the case. If so we should use this opportunity to give the witches false information. For now just be careful with what you say and let all communication be discreet." Ludolf communicates with the others in turn. "Go ahead and use your magic Triäsa." He then messages to the young half-elven bard.
The result of your identify spell -- Hag Eye. A hag in the coven can take an action to see and hear what the hag eye sees and hears if the hag eye is on the same plane of existence. The eye is psychicly linked to each of the hags. It has darkvision.
Pardot -- you hear a bit of a commotion coming from the hallway.

With the silent message ((it's so damn useful that two of us can do this~)) Pardot nods in reply. Hearing the noise outside, he then holds up a hand to the others and points to his ear and then to the outside, signaling that something may be coming. While walking towards the door casting guidance on himself he says to the others, "Perhaps we're just overthinking this. Our dwarf friend back home assured us everything was ok, and we all do feel younger already after that bath in the pool." He then places a hand on the door ready to open it somewhat suddenly to catch what he hears outside.
Pardot looks to Marty one more time giving him a rub behind the ears looking for any sign of the beast he seems to be, and then nods and follows Ludolf out, with a quick bow to the sisters.
