Ludolf nods contentedly as the faux Jarlaxle stumbles off together with the other guests, then making his way back towards Fistandia's room, turning to speak to Daventry as he walks. "Ilam and Sylvarie is secure under the shrine. Did you discover a way to destroy the paintings and lift the curse?" He says hurriedly.
Daventry nods at Ludolf. "We have a theory. Triasa thinks the magic protecting the painting can be broken with the blood of a powerful fey, and Pardot mentioned a lady of the waters in the healing spa who might fit the bill. We are hoping she will be willing to help. Klin is going to check on Fistandia, let's catch up with the others first. If we can breach the magic, we might need a combined assault to destroy the painting."
With the crowd dispersed Daventry will head towards the spa to catch up with the other two.
Triäsa looks out over the calm pool. She then speaks in Sylvan, "Lady of the water, I humbly ask to speak with you now. We seek your help in defeating the magic of the sisters." She glances at Pardot, thinking perhaps he might have a better idea of how to contact this fey being.

Triäsa's plea is met with silence and you all stand still until Pardot calls to the water. The air around you vibrates with energy as swirls of blue green energy form on the perfectly still water. The bits of color and mist coalesce and swirl as the shape of a young women forms on the surface. The figure smiles widely, "Brother in nature you bring good tidings. You have found my friend? You have found Sylvarie?"The figure speaks in an ethereal, fluid voice as she glides elegantly over the surface of the water till she is five feet from the edge of the pool. She glances across the party "Where is she, tell me what aide you need. I shall provide."

"Yes, your friend Sylvarie is safely waiting under the shrine for us to lift the curse she has been afflicted with. I am sure you will be reunited as soon."Ludolf says with a gentle smile to the water spirit before him, leaving to the others to explain further, curious himself still over why they are here.
Triäsa starts to respond to this woman seemingly shaped from the water, but halts as Ludolf steps in. She then explains, "We have the painting of Sylmarie that these so-called Sisters used for their deceptive magic. It is however protected by the hags' magic. I believe with a little bit of Fey blood we could overcome this protection. We could then destroy the painting and restore Sylmarie." She pauses, looking at the woman for a moment. "We were hoping perhaps you might be able to help with this last part."
The creature looks at the paintings, her gaze lingers on the large portrait of Sylvarie before she speaks. There is a longing in her blue green eyes and the sing song voice sadly continues, "If you need my blood then you may take it. Just leave me some strength so I can see my friend." She lefts her arms up turning her wrists and palms to the sky offering you what you ask.

Daventry nods, and brings forth her silver dagger from starlight, as well as an empty potion vial. "I will make this quick, and Pardot has healing, so you will feel right as rain soon after."
Assuming she is allowed, Daventry will take the fey's hand in hers, gently. She draws the blade across the fey's palm, and closes her hand into a vertical fist, so that blood drips from the wound directly into the vial.
She will look to Triasa. "Let me know when we have enough. Then let's get Sylvarie back."
Daventry approaches with weapon and bottle in hand. The Lady of the Pool suddenly calls out, "NO! Not you! You are tainted!" She floats back 5 feet on the water which seems to bubble menacingly as her soft features harden and she glares at Daventry. "Someone else."She says simply not looking away from Daventry.

Ludolf looks at Daventry with compassion, seeing himself in her, a mind delving to deep into the forbidden, then looking to Triäsa and Pardot, both still hopefully untainted by festering corruption.
Daventry seems shocked, a flash of anger running through her eyes. "Fine, then." She lets her dagger dissolve back into starlight, and tosses the vial to Ludolf. "Nothing about that's tainted, unless my lips touching it prior to a wash are enough to corrupt glass."She turns her gaze to Ludolf. "Maybe find out what she means. I'll be over there defiling some grass with my presence when we're ready to end this."
Ludolf calmly hands the vial over to Triäsa, then slowly following Daventry. "I'm sorry she said that, I can see it seems unfair, you didn't ask for what she percieves has tainted you." He says with concern and understanding, offering Daventry a compassionate smile.
The Pool Fey visibly relaxes as Triäsa approaches, "You I trust, though your aura is not entirely your own either. A strange group of creatures you all are..." She meets you half way to the edge but does not leave the water. She holds her left hand to you which you cut just enough to draw a blue-green fluid from her hand. It shimmers and glows as it runs down the palm of her hand and into your vial. You are able to easily collect about 20 milliliters of the strange blood before the bleeding stops. The fey reaches down into the water with her cut hand and the wound closes over as if it were never there. She then pulls Triäsa into a soft embrace. After a moment the creature's form dissolves to water gently flowing over Triäsa as it returns to the water.

"Thanks, Ludolf. Maybe one of you can ask her once we're done. I figured it was best I walk before someone said somethin' we'd all regret."
Daventry summons forth her rapier once the Lady flows back into her Lake, and heads over to Triasa.
"Alright, let's coat the tip of the blade with that. Hope you have detect magic up... Can see if this will breach the spell, or at least have the front row viewing of me getting cooked..."
When everyone is ready and the stage is set, and assuming no other ideas are posited, Daventry will strike the painting with the bloodied Rapier. (21 to hit, 12 damage)
Triäsa nods to the fey lady as she mentions her aura is not fully her own. "It is true. I carry a mark from my mother." She then sets to the task of getting the blood, afterward thanking her. "We are immensely grateful for your help. We will get Sylvarie back."
She looks into the water for a moment after the woman's form has dissolved and returned to the water. She then glances over to Daventry as she approaches. "Well, let us now see if my idea has any merit," she says. She helps with coating the tip of Daventry's summoned blade with a bit of the blood. She then grabs the portrait of Sylvarie, placing it before Daventry. "I guess I will step back." And she does, readying herself if Daventry might need any help.
Daventry drives her blade toward the painting of Sylvarie while the rest of you stand by anxiously. The point of her blade thrust swiftly but she feels a strange, invisible resistance as it gets to an inch in front of the canvas. Determined Daventry pushes forward; her blade is met with a shimmering purple ripple of energy. Straining against the invisible shield her blade presses forward as a blue-green wedge of force meets the magical barrier. After a moment's struggle more the barrier gives way and the blood coated blade tears into the elegantly painted elf skin canvas.
And then silence.
There is no burst of energy, no swirling colors or angel's singing. There is a very destroyed painting laying at Daventry's feet.
