((because I think I remember there being one pool still clear... though if I'm wrong obviously this won't work))
Looking into the pool, and seeing the eggs quickly change into a dead black, Pardot works as quickly as he can with his small fingers to pick out the not-yet-black ones and place them into some water he has floated over from the clean pool. Once he's collected as many as he can he floats the water back and deposits as many as he could save in the remaining fresh water.
Not sure what roll you want here... if anything... so... straight d20, you can do what you need to: 20
As the chaos of the brief battle dies down the three remaining frogfolk start weeping tears of joy and relief. Each show signs of severe abuse and neglect, even for grippli the are frail. Bullgup goes to his fallen friend's side and gets on a knee. He mumbles something and closes the frog's eyes before standing. He addresses the three "If you can make your way to the trading post. Mother is there with what remains of the village we will continue on to exact our revenge on the lizards."
The three nod in understanding and stand weakly.
Daventry looks into the first pool tainted by the darkness but her guess is correct. The same poison on the arrow corrupts the water. Upon her touch the water shimmer and clouds and the darkness quickly fades from the water.
Ludolf
Edgar circles the sky for a few moments watching the few Yuan-ti sentries who appear to be very lazy in their rounds. Not a single one approaches your location or the fallen Yuan-ti just on the other side of the river. The Yuan-ti patrols seem to stay close to the large central building. The only other thing Edgar notes are a few common swamp snakes coursing through the swampy lands.
Triasa
The pools appear to be poisoned but some sort of venom. You are unfortunately not familiar with this particular venom but you can tell it is rapidly destroying the eggs.
While Daventry works at one pool Pardot weaves his magics at the other. Deftly picking the eggs out of black water he works with an unnatural speed and dexterity. Rinsing the eggs in his shaped water and then neatly placing the salvaged eggs into the clean water you feel confident you saved as many as you could though there was nothing you could for 90% of them. The grippli notice your work and sincere look of thanks cross their weary faces.

Ludolf quickly checks on the bodies of the fallen Yuan-ti for anthing of interest before returning to the others by the pools. Investigation: 11
"There are more Yuan-ti patrols ahead, when we have done what we can to save the eggs I suggest we move on and try to take them out before they become aware of us."Ludolf says to the others, giving Daventry and Pardot an appreciative nod for doing what they can for the next generation of grippli. "Triäsa, please tell Bullgup that even if he seeks revenge for the atrocities commited by the Yuan-ti we really need him to guide us so suggest he would leave the close combat to our valiant Daventry." He says in a lowered voice to the young half-elven bard.
He would then take help from Edgar to guide the team to a location where they hopefully can ambush one patrol without immediately alert the others. Stealth: 11 + Guidance: 2 Perception: 10
The Purebloods each have a common dagger and a shortbow with quiver of 15 arrows. They also have a single small vial of the black venom. The Malisons carry only a common scimitar. Nothing else catches your eye.
Bullgup nods at your request he picks up one of the Yuan-ti's short bows and looks at it curiously. "I can try one of these.... He turns the bow over and pulls the string trying it out. We will need to cross the river. The rest of the village is swampier much nicer to walk on than here."
Assuming you have nothing else to do here Bullgup would lead you just north to the river. It is 50 feet wide as it flows to the ocean at a brisk pace. Looking across you see the same poor structures as you passed briefly on this shore. The closest building is the also the largest one down stream of the river 300 feet or so but it does rest on the bank of the river. Bullgup tells you this building was the Pond Mother's home and a sort of community center. The Yuan-ti patrols are no where to be seen. Edgar indicates they are currently in the west part of the village. There are two patrols one of 4 Purebloods and another of 2 Malisons and 2 Purebloods.
A map you probably don't need but I was bored

Having relayed Ludolf's message to Bullgup, Triäsa gives him a nod of approval. "The bow will work well. Thank you."
Standing at the edge of the river she says, "Do we just swim across then? We had best get it over with so we can focus on those patrols. The swampier ground might be good for Bullgup, but might be worse for us. Might we be able to get cover inside of one of the buildings and ambush one of the groups?"
Ludolf would snatch up the rest of the small vials and pocket them, mostly to make sure they are not used by the Yuant-ti again, nodding approvingly to Bullgup as he picks up a bow. He then follows the gripplis lead over to the other side of the river. "I suggest we move north along the treeline, hoping to attack the Yuan-ti by surprise again, using Edgar's scouting to time our ambush as one of the patrols come close."He suggests to the others then turning to Pardot. "Can you use your magic to cover our approach again?"
Daventry moves to Bullgulp, and says. "You fought well. Let me take a look at that cut, yeah?"She places her hand over the wound and feels the same rush of power and warmth flow through her that she did with the pool, and which she is realizing she has been unconsciously doing to her own injuries recently.

Daventry nods at the bow. "I'll hold the line, just let your arrows sing against anything I'm fighting, and keep to cover."
Looking to the rest. "Right, who's ready for a swim? If Edgar's clocked the patrols closer to the bay, we should cross here." She thinks a moment regarding the best tactic.
"I'll guess that whatever Yuan-ti is in charge here, they'll be at the Pond Mother's house. If we don't take out the patrols, then I'll bet they have a way to call them back if we go to cut the head off the snake now. A bell or horn or something. Like Ludolf suggested, we cut off the northern patrol first, ambush them with ourselves between them and the Pond Mother's house, so they've nowhere to run."
"That would probably help. The water does seem to be moving swiftly here," Triäsa says. "I also could help strengthen one or two people to swim better." (Would have advantage on STR ability checks.)
Ludolf gathers 2 vials of venom while Pardot picks up the 3rd. The last vial is just across the river with the last dead Pureblood.
Bullgup sort of smiles, glad to be home despite the curcumstances. He jumps into the water. You see him swim with grace but can tell his movements are against a surprisingly strong under current.
"The water is refreshing! Come new friends." He swims to the other side trying to maintain a low profile on the river Bank.

Pardot nods and smiles, walking confidently to the water. Watching their frog companion swim and look back to him just as his toes touch the water, everyone seems to blink at the same time and where Pardot was standing, now a crocodile moves comfortably in the water. Sending a mental message to Ludolf he says, "Hold on to me. I will keep us afloat and can easily pull everyone against the current"
I know I don't need to roll to swim now, so maybe this will give others help in their swims~ and still hoping to stay quiet in the water: stealth 16

Ludolf nods to croc Pardot and wades into the water, motioning for the others to follow him, holding on to the crocodile to let it tow him and the others over to the other side of the river. Athletics: 18 Another roll if croc gives advantage: 9 + Guidance: 2
"We probably all shouldn't cross at once. One at a time, as long as Edgar's keepin' eyes on the patrols. That way we don't swamp Crocdot with everyone drownin' at once."
As she waits her turn, she considers her potential own swim and stealthy moves to follow.
Athletics with advantage to hold on as you cross the river. The DC is significantly lower and so long as no one rolls a 1.... Pardot does not need to roll athletics he has no trouble negotiating the river.
Everyone also needs to rolls stealth.

Despite Bullgup's assurance the water is most definitely not refreshing. It is freezing. Thankfully with a tow you are each transported safely across the river to the north bank where you encounter the second inaccuracy of Bullgup. The ground on this shore is a loose boggy marsh more than actual land. Each step takes a tremendous amount of effort as your feet get stuck in the soft ground.
This entire area is difficult terrain for anything not accustomed to this environment.
Slowly you make your way along the tree line looking for the first patrol. From the air Edgar keeps a close watch on both groups. The group of Purebloods seem to be keeping to the periphery of the village while the other group wanders the village center. Cautiously you make your way until the Pureblood group is within sight. Unfortunately Bullgup steps a bit carelessly breaking a large fallen branch under his webbed foot. The branch snaps loudly and all four snake ladies look in your direction immediately, sneer and call out loudly in Abyssal, "Intruders! But at least they brought some fresh meat."
The snakes take up position with weapons drawn. Bullgup shrugs an apology.
