"I'm fairly sure there is no harbor in close vicinity of Candle Keep Daventry. If there were, that is the way I would have arrived here. I'm afraid the overland route is our only option, well until we have mastered magic to transport us through the dimensions that is." Ludolf says, glancing over at Triäsa and smiling at the end.

Daventry eyes Ludolf. "She just said their supplies come by sea. So, must be a dock at least, where they can unload those supplies. 'Course, whether the ship'd be headin' north and willing to drop into Baldur's Gate is another story."
"Interesting, never heard of a dock here, apologies Daventry, then I agree, we should definitely try for the overseas route."Ludolf says with a slight but sincere apologetic bow.
Fembris looks at Ludolf and blinks twice slowly as tries to think carefully how to respond, "Well Mr Ludolf it is an easy mistake to make. We have a harbor of sorts in the Inner Sanctum. No passengers though, strict rule. We get almost all of our food from a Grippli village just across the sea. Captain Jan's and his ship the Dog Ear!! We would all starve without him!" Fembris seems to get a small amount of joy everytime she tells you something new about the Keep. "No idea when they would come next or if they would take you up the shore."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Daventry thinks a moment, does she recognize either the ship, the captain name, or the village?

"Well, can't blame a girl for trying." She clicks the heels of her new boots together. "Good thing these boots are made for walking, since that's just what we'll do."
"Yes, well it was a good idea at least Daventry." Ludolf says trying to be encouraging. "Let us leave for Baldurs gate tomorrow at daybreak, anything more we need to discuss?"
Fembris hops to her feet. "I'll ask around and leave a message at the House of Rest if I can get you a boat soon. Good luck on your journey I can't wait to hear all about it!!"
With that she gets up and skips out the door humming a tune.
"See a mother scything wheat
Forgotten husband sleeping near
With one swing she took his feet
With another took his ear"
(Let me know of there is anything you want to do with the rest of the day. At this point it would be roughly 6PM I'll move you all on once it seems like everyone has finished thier business at Candlekeep)

Triäsa shrugs at Daventry's comment, "Yes, it is perhaps a bit more graphic than most." She then replies to Klin. "I do not imagine we will need much. Perhaps some traveling gear. Hmm, speaking of which, I suppose I might need to get a few things."
“Going by foot is fine with me. Perhaps we can find a cart for the ride back. I’d love to help with any animals who might be in charge of pulling us.” Pardot adds with a smile.“I’ve gotta admit. I have no idea what to expect in such a large city. This around us here is already one of the most populated places I’ve ever visited. I’ll be sure to stay close to not get lost in the streets.”
Pardot is ready to leave pretty much anytime. Just general FYI: he will cast goodberry every night before bed (assuming spell slots remain) to have a fresh set of berries for the next day. Also, though it’s a bit weird to describe, since magic stone takes a bonus action to cast, he pretty much is constantly casting it on stones in his pouch to always have some ready so that I can take a bonus action once/if combat begins.
"Yes, one wonders what the moral of this particular nursery rhyme could possibly be. Never sleep in a field of wheat? Don't let women handle sharp things?" He says thoughtfully, but then smiling wryly and winking at Daventry and Triäsa.
"I've lived most of my life in Luskan, which can be quite a rowdy place with all the pirating going on, but from what I hear Luskan is a quaint place of solace compared to Baldurs gate. We will definitely have to rely on your expertise navigating the streets of Baldur's gate dear Daventry."Ludolf says as they prepare to proceed with preparations for their journey north.
Daventry nods. "It's late. I plan on getting what I can from the Erudite Outfitters tonight, assuming it's still open... and hitting the Bath and Steam house for one last good soak before the grit of the road and slime of Baldur's Gate gets all over me. We should get breakfast at first light and leave right after. Pack for at least a week of travel, and make sure your blades are sharpened, if you've got 'em."
(Assuming PHB pricing for any mundane items? She'd also be interested in a map of the local area, if one's available.)
"Sounds like an excellent plan Daventry, I'll be joining you if you don't mind. Well not in the same bath perhaps." Ludolf says, blushing briefly at the thought. "Anyway, let's get going."
"Hah, Klin. Come summer, your order must be unassailable to all but the most stout!" Daventry teases. "A hot bath is a rare luxury, and one I take advantage of whenever I know the next chance will be a long time coming."

"Well, who do you ask, Fembris?" Triäsa asks the gnome. "No harm in asking, though if it is past the Emerald Doors I am sure the answer is 'no'."
Looking at the others she says, "Sounds like we go on foot."

Triäsa shakes her head as the gnome leaves. "Fembris too! Why is everyone singing that nursery rhyme around here?"
