Daventry (and the rest of you) catch up to the last hag as she is about to leave the tower. Her sword quickly slices into her flesh from behind again drawing blood and a scream from her lips. The whirls around and sees her chances for escape have been elimated. "Stop, stop I yield. Just let me live. I'll give you whatever the hell it is you want."She holds the paintings tight to her chest and she looks at you all with venom in her eyes as Pardot's magics continue to illuminate her in a faint, magical light.

Ludolf comes up behind Daventry, trying to see who is portrayed on the paintings. "Well cooperating with us will not lessen your chances of surviving this, and I can ensure you there are fates far worse than death."He says boring his gray piercing eyes into the hag's, staring through her wicked soul, invading her mind with disturbing and mindwracking words not meant to be spoken by man.

"You can start by explaining how we can recieve help from Lady Firehair to cure our gnome friend of her ailment." He says sternly.
Daventry holds her blade in a upper guard, point held directly pointed at the hag's throat.
"Those paintings were important enough for you to take even as your life hung in the balance. You'll be handing them over, and explaining what foul purpose they served... and how to undo whatever it is you've done to these people..."
She hugs the paintings closely they are turned away from you making it impossible to tell what they are. Daventry can make an intimidation check using Ludolf's roll as "help"

"If you want the damn paintings then take them!" She throws the three paints on the ground and lifts her arms up in the air.

"We gave people what they wanted is all," She sneers as spits the words from the side of her mouth. "Some wanted youth others more hair or muscles. But nothing in this world is free and as we told our customers there is a price for everything. A price we would collect when the time was right. No one refuses being given their dream, so easy it is to prey on the vanity of man."As she finishes speaking you see the soft glow of Pardot's faerie fire fade as the spell has run it's course. "If you want to undo the bargains it is simple. Destroy the paintings. I don't care anymore, just let me gather a few things and let me leave. You will never hear from again."

Two of the paintings land face up, both small ones. One painting is of a tiefling, a rather short and unremarkable creature. The other is very familar to you, none other than your old drunk dwarven friend on who set you on this path.

Daventry does not break eye contact with the hag, the blade's tip inches from her horrid face, her blue trapezoidal eyes still glowing brightly from the latent magic she's expended in the last five minutes.
"Ludolf, be a dear and take a look at the third one, will you? Have Ilam take a look, too."
(or whomever else is first up, Daventry's got some intimidating to maintain)
Perhaps even less surprising than the Gargelf blocking your escape the last, large painting is a portrait the most beautiful moon elf any of you have ever seen. Tall, slender with a perfect skin tinted with soothing pale blue. Long silvery white hair rests in curls gently over her shoulders. The hair frames a elegantly angular face with piercing green eyes that look out at you with kindness and love. The frame itself is a beautiful wood with intricate carvings of leaves and and branches, a simple gold placard at the bottom reads:
Sylvarie Silversong
Founder of the Temple of the Restful Lilly and Beloved of Sune
Ilam glances down at the paintings, gasps and yells, "Where is she you vile creature!" He raises his crossbow and presses it against the hag's forehead. His hands tremble and sweat beads on his brow. The hag only sneers in response.

"I think we know where she is Ilam, we just need to destroy these right? Or is there anything else to it?" Ludolf says and tries to discern if the hideous hag is holding anything back. Insight: 16
"The paintings hold the magic that binds their bargain. Destroy the painting and the magic is undone." She says simply. As best you can tell she has no reason to lie. At this point it appears she wants only to leave this place with her life.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Both your bolts of magic crash into the painting. A brilliant flash of black, purple light goes off in Ludolf's face as he pummeled by a foul arcane energy. The light flashes twice, once for each bolt. (sorry for this... there is no save)

Damage: 11 psychic
The Hag cackles in glee at your folly. "Oh my I forgot! That's right we did start enchanting them so no one would try anything foolish." She catches her breath between giggles, "I'll remove the magic... after you let me leave..."

"That was a foolish Ludolf," she says softly, sounding more worried than upset.
She then turns to Daventry, "We are not letting her go until we have a clear idea where Sylvarie is at and what has happened. And if she is going to be let go she will need to provide much more real help." She then looks at Sanza, "Why these three paintings? Surely there are others."
Having partially healed the scratches across her face, Triäsa will also continue after the others in trying to track down Sanza.

(Ouch, well Ludolf is down :-P)
Triäsa runs to where Ludolf has fallen, already singing as she had moments before:
'I call upon the mystic weave,
To mend this wounded body.'
Casting Cure Wounds she heals him for 11 hp.
