Pardot, looking around as the monks leave with his list of requested materials, realizes he has no where else to go, so quietly follows the group to whatever destination is chosen, generally remaining quiet and listening as everyone shares their stories, volunteering little, but also not hiding if prompted.
Talis reaches into a drawer and takes out heavy iron keys, one for each of you. "Certainly, come with me Seekers." He leads you up a large wooden staircase to the second floor which is lined with doors. "You rooms are here all next to each other as we just assign them as people are admitted." He unlocks the doors to reveal your temporary homes. Each room is identical. They are simple and without distraction as they contain a simple single bed with a wood frame, there is a wardrobe along the wall. At the foot of the bed is a heavy iron chest with a lock that is open and the key inside. Finally there is a desk and chair that is fully stocked with a quill and parchment.
"If you need anything I am usually downstairs don't hesitate to come ask. I'll let you get settled. Enjoy your stay!"

Ludolf takes the key handed to him and nods. Apart from the room being devoid of books he is much pleased with the room and its contents. After meticulously unpacking his backpack he leaves his room again locking the door and going over to the Hearth for something to eat and drink. Assuming he finds Pardot he decides to approach him. "Excuse me, you seem to have an interest in the stars. So do I in fact, or rather what could be found beyond them, but the right constallations could be a powerful conduit in performing great rituals summoning entities from the beyond I have read."Ludolf says to Pardot, trying a bit awkwardly to strike up a conversation while heading over to the Hearth.
(OOC: Oof, thats a lot of posts during my sleep, will have to take a back seat in this game i fear.)
As the human approaches him to ask about the stars, Pardot perks up slightly and follows him to the table. As he reaches into his pack he says, “Call me Pardot. And yes. There is much you can learn from the heavenly bodies above.” He then pulls out an exact duplicate of the map that he’d given to the monks earlier. Though any with a discerning eye could possibly tell that this is older, and more well worn. The star map is astonishingly detailed for being tooled on a piece of animal hide, ‘owlbear’ he would reply simply if asked. Any who look at the map see it as static, yet, when you move your head away and back, you could almost swear that the stars shifted ever so slightly; though you’ll never get confirmation if so.
Laying out the map on the table he says, in a voice just barely audible over the buzz of the tavern, “The constellations can teach us much. You are correct. Though I know nothing of summoning or rituals… Here you can see the Farmer. When he crosses here, the River,” tracing a line with his finger, “it is time for harvest.”He then looks up to the summoner and asks, “Of which signs are you most familiar?”
Triäsa takes the key offered to her and finds her room. She takes just a few quick moments to unpack a few items - change of clothes into the wardrobe; scroll cases, paper, and ink into the desk; pack into the chest.
She then heads back out, locking the door behind her and slipping her key into a pouch. Keeping her weapons at her side and the lute strapped across her back, she goes downstairs and over to The Hearth.
Once inside she takes a moment to survey the place. She keeps an eye out for Daventry, sitting with her if she's there or finding an unoccupied table otherwise.
She sets aside her lute as she politely asks a server for some water.
When you enter the Hearth you are absolutely shocked at the size of the building. From the outside it appears as rather nondescript structure of a cozy size but the inside absolutely massive. The main hall is cluttered with fine wooden tables and chairs with people of all shapes, sizes and races drinking, talking and even dancing as the dinner hour has arrived. Across the room is a long, fine wooden bar with seats for at least 50. Behind the bar is a large clockwork device that is emitting a pleasant blue light. There are staircases the ascend the periphery of the room extending up at least 5 flights to balconies that over look the main hall. The balconies are lined by doors at least ten along each wall on each floor. The layout makes no sense as their is no apparent rooms for these doors to lead to based on the layout.
While the place is very busy you have no trouble finding a table to accommodate all of you with room to spare. A fairly nondescript maid dressed in plain clothing comes quickly to the table,
"Ah some fresh faces welcome to the Hearth! Please if I can be of any assistance I would be happy to bring you some food or drink."
(Unless anyone has other plans will assume you are all at the same table here at the Hearth)

The waitress looks toward the Monk and with a pleasant smile smile says, "Well of course sweetie. We have a lovely seafood chowder. There is a wonderful grippli community just across the sea that supplies us with the freshest seafood you can imagine. I will be right back with a piping hot bowl in one moment!"

Daventry doesn't take long to rejoin the group, appearing downstairs a few minutes after with a lighter pack and a freshly-washed face. She sits at the table with the rest and orders an ale at the first opportunity.
"So, the three of you are interested in the stars, and Triasa and Ludolf perhaps in what's beyond. Funny, how such a group from the wide reaches of Faerun all show up to Candlekeep the same day with such similar interests." She leans back, drinking her ale.
Triäsa slowly drinks her water once it is brought. "I would be interested in any topic really. Could you just imagine being able to roam through the books... pick any one at random to see what it might contain..." She gets an almost dreamy expression on her face, before laughing and moving on.
"Anyway, for now I did focus my search to interplanar topics. It was an area of expertise for my mother."
She settles into her seat watching the others. Soon her water glass is empty and she absently plays with it with one hand.
"I´m Ludolf, Ludolf Crowley, from Luskan." Ludolf responds to Pardot. "What an amazing star map you have there Pardot." He says clearly impressed with it. "I don´t recognize those constallations you mentioned though." He says a bit confused. "Maybe we just have different names on the constallation. That one for instance is called Mystra´s Star Circle in Luskan literature."
"A glass of wine and a juicy steak, and be quick about it." Ludolf says gruffly to the waitress.
"So what was your topic of interest again?" Ludolf asks Daventry, smirking, thinking of the dwarfs romantic novel.
"Interplanar topics, how fascinating."Ludolf says excitedly to Triäsa. "Tell me, what studies have you done on the Far Realm?" He says trying to keep calm, but clearly having a great interest in that subject.
After Ludolf orders, Triäsa politely asks the waitress for some bread and fruit and a bit of wine. "Just something light please. It is greatly appreciated."
She then turns to Ludolf. "Well sir, I have read a GREAT deal on gates, planar shifts, all the Inner and Outer Planes. A bit less on the Far Realms, though I have seen a handful of accounts. Though some are of dubious value; the writers seemed a bit incoherent."
She takes but a brief breath before continuing. "There were certainly a fair number of rituals described. I dare say though, I am not a wizard myself, and they seemed a bit beyond any of my abilities in affecting the Weave."
She then gives the man a grin. "At least at the moment."
"Steak and wine... yes, of course your Highness. Right away your Highness." She says with a sarcastic tone. "Would his majesty prefer red or white?" She dramatically lowers her head in an exaggerated bow waiting for your response.

"Yes, the accounts on the Far Realm would seem incoherent to one that not yet has embraced the enlightenment it brings." Ludolf says to Triäsa, now staring into her eyes with his piercing grey. "I could show you though, young one, the mysteries of the beyond. One day I will take you there myself." He says, now suddenly flashing a fierce charisma.
"What do you think? Red of course." Ludolf says to the waitress, not taking note of her sarcasm, or the monks uncomfort for that matter.
To Ludolf, Daventry replies: "I'm here to find a translation to a set of runes. Scholarin's a new thing ta me, so I'm not much on topics and studyin."
Daventry watches the interaction with the waitress. "Sorry, love. He doesn't get out much. After you spice up his steak with a bit o' spit, if you have a pot of stew you could ladle me a bowl of, I'd appreciate it."
"Runes you say, would you let me help you with the translation Daventry?" Ludolf says, again the piercing grey eyes going to work, oblivious to her suggestion to the waitress to spoil his steak.
