The skymarcher--whose expression makes it obvious that the irony is not lost on him--casts daylight on his staff, dispelling Adrima's darkness.  He follows it up by sending a spectral broadspear at Polly (18, 3 force damage). 

The warrior charges the cleric, hacking at him with a two-handed grip.  (9, 18, 12 damage)

The cleric, shocked, blocks the first downward blow with the handle of his mace, holding it with both hands, but is unprepared for the follow-up that almost cuts him in half.  The warrior continues on, attacking a random soldier (14), who narrowly avoids the blow, then counters with one mighty thrust after another (12, 18, 6 damage).  The first blow fails to pierce the warrior's breastplate, but the second finds a chink. 

The soldier in melee with Retoig tries his best to take advantage of the drop in the orc's guard (18 and 20, 5 damage after resistance), and even draws blood twice, but doesn't seem to do much of anything. 

The conquistador dueling Xyran presses the attack (20, 5, 7 damage), managing to pierce his offhand shoulder. 

Cannons' assailant continues stabbing at him (12, 21, 2 damage).  The goblin dodges the first strike and rolls away from the second, but it cost him. 

The vampire attacking Grifhook tries to pull him prone (22 opposed by 23), can't quite manage it, and tries to bite him (11), but is once more distracted by Grifhook's struggles. 

OOC: Gonna use Cutting Words on that attack against me.

”Squawk! You suck! Squawk! Hit your own troops! Squawk!” reducing it by, 1 to reduce the damage. Blast it, still need to make a Concentration save and beat 10. Concentration: 21. Vampire is still under control! Woo! “Ow! You still suck! Ha!”

"Umph! worthy challenger." 

OOC: If it's our turn I'll attack again.

Xyran whips his sword back and forth intermixed with stabbing motions, Attack: 10 Damage: 16

Xyran's opponent once again parries everything he can do. 

Polly whistles, and a feather flutters in the air. He whistles again, and the feather turns toward the skymarcher. He whistles a final time, and the feather rockets toward the cleric in an eldritch blast. Attack: 15 Damage: 4 force damage. “I can shoot things too! You’re not special!”

The skymarcher gasps sharply, but quickly recovers his bearing. 

"Oye! You think you can take me to the ground without showing me a good time, think again!"  Grifhook said with a smile on his face.

Dexterity (Acrobatics) Check: 19

OOC: If successful, I will Disengage for my bonus action and move (maximum movement if applicable) to wherever might be safest while simultaneously still being able to see the current attackers. Looking for any sort of cover, if any happens to be available.

Arcturis now having his bearings back notices he is not glowing any longer. "If only this floating island was a ship. I just cant seem to find my land legs here." Knowing he is less effective on solid ground he decides to control things from the rear. Gesturing toward the nearest vampire to himself he launches a bolt of fire at it.

19 Firebolt for 3 Fire Damage

Upon missing his new opponent, Retiog laughs and says, "Haha. Sum body dat can finally fight."  Taking a couple of slices from the vampire's sword, drawing blood on the orc's arm and thigh,  "Ooo, dats da spirit! Come fuh mi, long-teef!" He beats his chest taunting the soldier, then throws out all caution upon making his counterattack. 

Reckless 15, Damage 8

 (Rage counter: 6 turns reamining)

OOC: Da spirits be restless reckless!

Everyone near Cannons can hear a high-pitched, consistent screech emanating from him, which he hopes to be intimidating. He uses disengage (as his cunning action) and lobs another sizzle-boom (1 damage) at the vampire while making his way towards Grifhook.

Driss takes the hit with a grunt. That warrior is something else. Looking around quickly he sees that all are in the thick of battle. 

"It's on, leech." he says through gritted teeth. 

He takes a step back and casts healing word 5. Then staying on the defensive he decides to boost his guiding bolt before casting it. To hit 23 Dam 10.

Athletics to keep Grifhook grappled: 15

Grifhook gets free. 

Arcturis singes the vampire attacking Cannons. 

Retoig lands a powerful blow on the vampire fighting him, but doesn't manage to kill him. 

Dex save for Cannons' attack: 17

Cannons just barely singes the hair of his attacker. 

Adrima manages to hex the skymarcher, but her eldritch blast hits some sort of magical shielding. 

OOC: Adrima, pick an ability score for hex.  Driss, no one hit you on the enemies' last turn; Polly mind-controlled the vampire that attacked you and sent him after the other vampires.  And who is that guiding bolt aimed at? 

OOC: o crap misread the move. Sorry about that. Actually Driss was fighting a warrior in the previous post with a two handed sword. And he hit hard. So he is retaliating 

OOC: Not the one that I’m controlling right? Cause if you hurt him, that goes poof
