Driss manages to save a full tankard before the scuffle spills on the table.
He laid back and enjoyed the show. Sirens, goblins with a dash of vampire and a sparkling of orc that was the kind of crew that was either doomed from the start or the stuff of legends.
He would have to wait and see, but he, for sure as the sea would be the death of him would be part of it.
Now. For more earthly pleasures. Looking around he began to scan the crowd for the group organising the bets.
As Grifhook goes in for the strike and summarily is stopped by a well-placed flute, "Blimey! Not my good eye, Polly. I was just havin' a bit of fun!" Then while he begins to rub his eye a bit, "And what ye did is make a pun. A most... grave mistake." with a smirk toward the vampire.
Seemingly undaunted by the goblin's disparaging words, Arcturis motions toward his blade "It has tasted almost as much blood as I have."
"As for my skills, it's my knowledge of the workings of a ship that I bring. You'd be hard pressed to find a better rigger than me. I'm also able to fix the boat as much as sail it. All in all, you'll not find much better than I as far as a new crewmate. You just need to be able to look past the fangs."
"Well, I'm no Captain. But anyone who can keep me out of the water is good in this goblins opinion!" Grifhook slaps the stiff fellow, "Lighten up, your lot is always too serious! You'd think you boys be far more lively considering..." he says trailing off as one of the cuter barmaids catch his attention.
Xyran waves his hand dismissingly "I for one do no mind the vampires, why when I was younger, one of their kind taught me how to fight! So let him join I say!"
Still eyeballing the barmaid, "If I'm being honest, only one we probably have to fear from bites is Cannons."Grifhook remarks as he jumps down with his mug in hand running off toward the barmaid.
Cannons decides that he is bored, and wants to blow something up. He should at least ask first, otherwise the tavern people would be very mad at Cannons (OOC - that was his entire thought process :D). He then walks to the bar, swinging up on to the counter, and asks the bartender "Can I do a blow-up now? Thanks" He then promptly hops down from the bar and walks back towards the table, fishing something out of the satchel at his side.
OOC: I believe we were rolling perception to see if we noticed your actions. So I don't think you had to roll but I like the idea of you forgetting you made an explosion then thinking you heard something and proceed to go on your merry way. Lol.

OOC: Actually, it wasn't to notice Cannons' explosions. Those, everyone can hear. What was it for, you ask? You'll find out soon enough.
