With all the confusion around her, Adrima doesn't notice anything. She always had been the silent type, but have to admit enjoying the company of these crazy sailors. This constant chaos remind her of the storms when she is navigating on the high seas.
Retiog scoops up his drink so as not to lose it in the fray between Griffnack and Polly. He takes another healthy swig from the bottle. Something tingles in the back of his head, "Oy! All quiet!" Noticing the other goblin seeming to be loading a round in his gun, he glares and points a meaty finger at Cannons, "Joo betta not be doin' dat!" He continues to everyone else, "Someone comin'. Lotsa someones by da sound of it." Once everyone somwehat simmers down, he adds in a hushed voice,"An' dey gettin' close."
(OOC: Excuse the scattered accents. Trying to find a voice for this guy.)
I like to think Polly and Griffhook both look up from a mutual headlock, “What kind of people? Are they shouting about blood and suns? Wait, that doesn’t narrow it down too much... Um, can you tell what language?”

Grifhook yells from across the tavern, "Now I know us goblins look bloody alike and it can be confusing with his name being Cannons but damn it, I am the one with a cannon around here!" as he whips out from a small satchel what appears to be stock of a firearm of some sort but as it comes out it gets bigger and bigger until it becomes apparent his Thunder Cannon is little more than a portable cannon. He then looks over at Polly, "Who in the 'ell are you brawling with?" and then looks at the scared barmaid, "That's not the only thing I am hidin'. But before we get to pleasure, first some business!"
Running back to where everyone else was, he kicks over a chair for a bit of cover with his cannon aimed firmly at the door.
Polly drops the goblin he was holding, which was in fact not one of his crew mates now that he looks at him. One apology later, Polly has brought his flute to his lips and furrowed his feathered brow, ready for whatever comes through. “Yes it is.” He mutters as the Goblin brags to the crowd.

Arturis watch the flurry of activity with a smirk. Wondering if all of this was a little over reaction he decides to lean back in the chair, kick his heals up on the table and watch. If nothing else, this evening had the makings of being entertaining at least, even if he didn't get that job he was looking for.

Suddenly, the tavern door bursts open and a squad of Dusk Legion soldiers pour in! First a pair of rank-and-file soldiers wearing breastplates and carrying rapiers, then an officer clad in leather and holding a staff topped with a glowing yellow orb, then another pair of soldiers. Roll initiative!*
*Actually, whoever has the highest initiative bonus--which is probably either Xyran or Polly--roll initiative, because we're using side initiative. Speaking of which, 19.

Noticing the uniform of the Dusk Legion, as he has had a run-in with them in the past, Retiog immediately readies his shield and grabs his mace at his side.
Cannons notices that their clothing looks lots like his shirt/dress he wears every day, then lets out a huge scream, "BLOW-UPS! BLOW UPS! HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Then begins taking some fire bombs out of his satchel
(OOC - do we just go whenever we want during our side? If so, Cannons will throw a fire bomb at the two soldiers)
Upon the entry of the small platoon, Adrima stands up, ready her shield and summons her pact weapon. A cloud of shadows circles around her arm and dissipates, leaving a trident black as ebony in her right hand
“well it seems the evening got even more interesting !”

While Cannons is fiddling with his bomb, Grifhook takes aim at the officer, "You made three mistakes. First, coming to the High and Dry looking for trouble. Second, for finding that trouble with us rowdy bunch. And third, bringing something that shiny around a bunch of pirates! Yar!"
