Zin prepares his equipment, cinches up his backpack, wraps his cold weather around himself and says "Agreed, following you Magwynn. Unless we can see anywhere else that we can ride out this storm. Lead on!"

Nodding appreciatively towards Davis Sohk responds, "I appreciate it, but I've got no issues lugging things about. Probably best you have your weapon ready."
Sohk jumps a little at the sound of thunder and then lets out a giggle. He starts shuffling towards the exit with the crate and says, "You bring up a good point Magwynn. That's a little bit rude." Despite what he's saying it doesn't sound like he means any malice or is actually offended, continuing on he adds, "Let's be on our way then! I'll follow you."
“Perhaps we can duck into a house or building nearby? Our hosts have disappeared- I guess through that portal he mentioned.?- “ Spix says.. She’s ready to follow as well.
Zin peers out at the sky and the storm, trying to see if this appears "natural" or not. Also glancing quickly at the horizon, looking for anything amiss, as well as a place to shelter.

Zin peers out and is started by the rapid appearance of snow, a lot of it, and building quickly. He looks back for any sign of the town, but nothing is seen. The only visible signpost is Kleine. He shouts out over the wind to his companions "Hey guys, I hear someone yelping, maybe for help! Let's go, the only way out is through! Press forward toward Kleine, I don't see any of the buildings!" He is wondering if there is something magical about this storm...

Magwynn will try and act as a windbreak for the shorter folk, guiding everyone in the direction of the sign she saw earlier. "We can lash ourselves together if the winds become too strong," she suggests.
She puts a hand up. "I hear something up ahead -- creatures of some sort, I think! Probably not friendly, but what beast would be out in weather such as this?"
To catch up everybody who exit's this is what you see.
You see various flakes of white start to blow into your face, you blink due to white blinding effect of what you come to realize is snow. There is Snow on the ground, snow on the various tree's and snow in the air coming down very hard and very steady. As you look up the clouds are darkish blue, with white billows of patches blending in here and there. You see the sign pointing North with just one word on it. Kleine! Lightning and thunder cracks here and there illuminating the sky penetrating your sound.
Zin says in between gusts of wind... "This ... storm... isn't... natural. Something or someone... is doing this! Be ... on guard..." He trudges on after Magwynn, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up, by the cold and the perceived danger. Should've looked for another gig. No wonder the first crew bit the dust... he thinks to himself.
Zin goes on, "Guys, the snow and cold.... I can handle..... But this thunder and lightening... very unusual..."
“I believe you’re right and the pleasure is mine, Zin.” Velan answered briefly nodding his head but moments before the others introduced themselves. If the elf brought eloquence the dwarf was a frontliner, the firbolg was a local and knew magecraft while the last of the members, a human looking man and a woman that seemed to be half-elvish, donned sturdier armor. Zin, Sohk, Magwynn and Spix. He committed every said name to memory, while putting the cold gear and taking a necklace from the midst of the offered trinkets.
What surprised him the most was the fact that Spix had a familiar, a white owl, of her own. So we share a trick and a strategy. He said to himself while considering if Spirit was a fey, a celestial or a fiend.
“This is Ninlil.”Velan spoke as the white horned owl closed its eyes and lowered its body in what seemed like a curtsy. “She helps me like Spirit helps you and they are already allies so with time, friendship seems likely.”
Then the familiar left his shoulder and he started putting the cold gear while the human looking man and Blackheart discussed the last details of the mission. The merchant’s answer left him more uncomfortable than he would like to admit, but the signs of a storm prevented him for thinking more about it.
“I’m staying at the Northlook. Most sellswords and adventurers in the city do.” He suggested as they start to leave, while temporarily dismissing Ninlil. As he set foot outside the tent, though, the world had turned white. There was no more Bryn Shander, just grey skies, cold air and lighting. “Where the hells are we?”
The others seemed to be as confused as him, not that he could know in that hail. In fact, he couldn’t notice a damn thing.
“I think the rope idea will have to wait while we deal with the creatures.” Velan shouted taking position behind all the others while still following Magwynn’s guidance.
"Some sort of strange giggling coming from these creatures. Let's be careful of tricks!" Sohk tries to yell quietly somehow, to be heard over the storm.
He huddles around the crate, trying to keep it protected as he looks around the storm moving to be as centered within the others as he can.
"We should keep moving, but cautiously," Magwynn calls. "Stopping could be deadly." She moves forward slowly, searching in the whirling snow for any sign of the creatures.

Davis frowns at the change outside. "This is definitely not Neverwinter." He comments needlessly as he steps out into the wind and snow. Looking at the signpost he grunts in annoyance. He glances around as the others announce possible threats around them...

"Those who are less martial oriented, please stay behind those of us who are." He says to the others in his calm voice, that carries above the wind still. "If it comes to a fight, try to stay behind those of us who can keep the enemy at bay as you use your own weapons at range." With that said he grips his glaive and nods to the goliath. "Let's see about reaching this town then."

"I see someone --" Magwynn hisses. "A humanoid, with two beasts -- they're moving to flank!" She indicates the approximate direction the creatures moved towards. "He's 150 yards away and armed -- not too far for a longbow but difficult in these winds." Her far hand moves closer to one of the two shortswords she carries.
Spix readies an action to attack with her rapier if something attacks us. “I am skilled with a longbow but I can’t even see what to shoot in this snow. I’ll just use my rapier if they attack” Spix says

Spix will go third, behind Davis and the Goliath. She has her rapier and shield out.
(Magwynn is a Firbolg, not a Goliath.)
