After the curtain is reveled and you peer inside. You see 6 rows of chairs facing forward. A few of them have all ready been taking up in various spots by a couple of other recruits. You see A podium at the front of the chairs facing you. A table on it's left with several sets of clothing, trinkets of various sizes and a top open crate full of potions. And a table on the right full of cheese, bread, and a small assortment of fruits. Small plates and silverware are provided at the beginning of the table. A second curtain with a opening is at the back indicating another room or storage is possibly beyond it.
You can respond to the Goliath for allowing you inside as well as the dwarf. But save your roleplay after entering as nobody else at this point has seen what you have just seen.
Magwynn regards the tent and its sign. Both are unfamiliar to her — new folk, inexperienced, maybe, or unprepared for the weather. Possibly a good number of folk in need of supplies. The goliath encourages her steps — no crouching in a too-small tent here, she hopes as she steps inside.
The Goliaths eyes widen slightly as he was caught off guard listening to the half elf make his appearance. He turns quickly towards the newest sound and nods.
"Welcome Master Orc. You may pass. Help yourself to the snacks and find a seat. Mr. Blackheart will be with everybody shortly."

Spix also enters, and says, in a soft voice “I heard the recruiting wagon. I am interested in learning more about what is needed, perhaps I can serve”.
The goliath looks back down as he hears the soft voice.
"Perhaps you can. That will be Mr. Blackhearts decision. In the mean time enter and enjoy the snacks then have a seat. He will address everybody shortly."

TO all:
Now that everybody is here. Let the roleplay inside begin.
Zinhorn walks up to the snack bar and starts to sample. He squeezes the tangerines and gives one a good sniff before putting it on his plate. He gathers a few slices of cheese and crackers, on a small plate. “Does anyone have any wine?” You see him linger at the crate full of potions and give a glance at the clothing on the table before he heads back to a chair. He sits down next to the dwarf, saying “Go on! Go up there and nab you some snacks before they all get gone! We don’t know how long this presentation will be.”
“Thank you, Master Goliath.”He answers the guard with a nod of his own. It was somewhat calming to see someone take him for someone of his former kind. After all, people tend to react badly to the fey, especially in more remote areas such as Icewind Dale.
Passing by the curtain Velan finds in everything a new reason for expecting good coin from this Blackheart fellow - and what an ominous name, he had to admit. Before him half a dozen chairs where arranged in rows. Beyond them a podium, and beyond the podium more curtains. Another room. He decided letting his eyes rest on the tables, one with food and the other with clothes and… a crate of potions?
Curious, the wizard approached the box. He made note of the bottles, their size and form, the color and lucidity of their content. On his mind he tried to think of his studies about herbs and the arcane, about which kind of effect those substances could hold. Was Everett intending to share it with whoever he decided to hire? Velan doubted. Even the simplest of the healing concoctions costed fifty pieces of gold. That whole crate could be far more expensive than that. Now,, now, what do you wish Blackheart?
@DM, would Velan recognize any of the potions in the crate?
Sohk hums a chipper song as he makes his way towards the food in the back. As he stands there sampling a bit of each he watches the others that are there with him. If any of them make eye contact he smiles widely as he eats the food and gives them a slight nod, not stopping from sampling each different thing he can. Once he's tried everything he makes his way around the room, seeming to loop around it until he makes his way to a seat. A nice half-elf sits next to him and Sohk just chuckles and says, "Oh don't worry, I'll try foods if they're on offer. Did you find any wine?" From the way that he leans in, it's clear that Sohk also will try wines if they are offered to him.
Spix wanders the tent, looking at the food, potions, and trinkets. After carefully surveying the group, she puts her mask away, revealing a beautiful girl’s face, tanned, brunette, with a definite fey look about her. She selects a small plate of delicacies and eats delicately, but with clear enjoyment. This Blackheart guy had earned her attention, if nothing else. She takes a chair in the middle of the front of the tent, and enjoys her food.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Pardon me, I'm going to look for the wine." Zin finishes his plate of cheese and crackers, he pockets the tangerine. He stands and walks around to the back of the tent, looking into the second area, mumbling "Is there wine in here, somewhere?"

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Just as everybody starts to relax, have a bite to eat and has a seat you notice the old man and boy enter into the tent. They move over to the table of food and fix them selves a couple of plates. Then make their way back towards the door. A gust of wind from outside blows the curtain open and rushes in. A cold blast of air presence is felt across your skin before The Goliath walks in and grabs the curtain putting it back into place. The old man helps the goliath for a moment then pauses as if waiting for something. The goliath nods and reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small brown sack. Then hands it to the old man. The old man nods as he motions for the boy to follow. Then they exit the tent. The goliath then pulls up a seat next to the door then sits down.
"Ah yes, the wine. Please forgive me. I shall have my servants take some out immediately. Now if you will wait patiently at your seat we shall bring some out."
Then 2 large claps are heard
4 men a dragonborn, a second goliath, a orc and elf come from behind the tent. Two of them are carrying a keg. While the other two brings wine bottles and glasses. They set them on the table then move back past the curtain.
Sohk walks up and grabs some wine. While he's up there he decides it would be best to grab some more snacks, but he is quick about it before returning to his seat.
Zin heads back and sits at his seat, smiling and grabs a glass of wine as these are being handed out. He takes his seat beside Sohk and says "Cheers!" and takes a good deep sip. "Interesting crew here. This is going to be good."

Spix declines the offer of wine, content with the small serving of snacks she selected. She looks around and smiles in a friendly way at the others gathering, but doesn’t prompt any conversation herself.
Emerging from the second curtain you first see a Tabaxi women of colors or blonde and white upon her fur. She is wearing a beautiful white dress that goes down to just above her knees. She moves over to the table full of items and stands there waiting and watching. Following her is a well dressed human man. He wears a suit, jacket, and pants of grey. A tie of red. You see surrounding his jacket a multitude of purple feathers that starts at his neck leading down to his collar bone. White gloves over his hands. And small glasses. He makes his way to the podium then stands behind it as he looks over the crowd and gives a great big smile.
"Welcome everyone! My name is Everett Blackheart. I hope your enjoying the food and wine that I provided. I am here today to recruit Strong, Healthy, Smart, Stealthy, Quick and Sturdy individuals for a special mission of a upmost importance to me. You will be relocated further North then you will ever have been. The Wild life, the Beasts, and possibly some of the Inhabitants there will be all at their most unique forms. When I say unique I really mean mutated. This mutation is like one you have never seen. At first we thought it was Chardalyn that caused this mutation. But we were wrong. For those who are not familiar with Chardalyn. It's a non magical crystal substance that over the years infused itself with the ice and snow. It has been said to warp the mind over time to the wielder of the substance. However this is not the case. As a team I sent before you has come to find out. Sadly none of that team no longer exists. And now I'm needed a new team to take it's place. To do the job that the other team could not. So who is still interested?"
as he scans the room looking at every individual with in the place. A majority of occupied chairs around you slide back as men and woman of all races stand up and walk out grumbling about how there not going to risk there life, be relocated further north etc.
"Now for those few who are left any questions up to this point before I go on?"
I shall wait till everybody answers or passes before moving on. Have a good night everybody.
Trix speaks up. She asks”what is the purpose for this mission? Is it curiosity, wealth, fame, to rescue those who went before or to stop some evil? Why should anyone risk our lives for this?” The tone of her questions are polite, but it seems clear she is looking for more than mere wealth out of any mission.
Magwynn turns from inspecting the leathers as the others enter. She scoops up a few of the tangerines, which look like kumquats in her hand, and pockets two. She ignores the offer of wine, but inspects one of the harder cheeses carefully.
She listens closely to Blackheart's description. (From her time in the wilds of the north, does any of it sound at all familiar to her?)
"But this substance was still dangerous enough to kill the other team? Or did they perish in some other way?"
Sohk is chewing on some cheese as he listens to the details and he leans over to Zin to say, "Sounds like you were right, this is pretty good!" He takes a drink of the wine and is visibly excited by what he is hearing, his eyes locked on this Everett as he waits to hear more.
