4. Grianne starts to understand.

Eldin smiles at Grianne and says, "See? You're getting it! You'll be writing books of your own in no time." He then looks down at the book a goes quiet for awhile. He then looks into Grianne's emerald eyes and says, "I... I have to tell you something. I... love you. Romantically." As he says this, his heart starts racing and he feels himself getting tense.

Grianne smiles as her cheeks flush. Looking Eldin in the eyes back she replies softly  I know.

Eldin smiles nervously. "You do? Ah good... um... So... What... About you?" Eldin barely manages to get the words out.

(The ground opens beneath Grianne. She drops, and with a burst of steam she is Petrified in carbonate.)

Being around you is the only time I'm not freaking out inside. After I..um.. fell...on you, i started having other feelings inside I had never known before. Marvarax tried to explain this to me. I couldn't stop thinking about it the rest of the day. I even ended up loosing a fight because of it. In the end, after spending more time with you, I realized that these feelings were for you. And they were good feelings. If that's love then yes, I love you too.She takes a moment to steady herself as she had begun to shudder a little from her confession. I like spending time with you. And i want to know you better.

Eldin says, "I'm... glad you feel that way. But since love is complex and it's a new emotion for you..." Eldin hesitates again, "If you ever think that... you what you're feeling isn't love then... feel free to break things off. I know how painful it is to love the wrong person. I went through it once and I'd rather you don't suffer it at all."

Grianne gives a please smile. I think that's why i can be so relaxed with you. You seem to be always looking out for me. Grianne puts a finger to the Onyx button around Eldin's neck. No matter what happens between us, this will always remain true.

Eldin nods and says, "Let's continue." He then returns to the alphabet and helps Grianne remember the words she can't. After that he will take out the notebook he got for Grianne. "Alright. I'm going to say some letters and you write them down on the notebook. No looking at the book now."

Grianne takes the notebook and what ever writing utensil exists that was handed to her. She takes a few deep breaths, readying herself for the quiz to come. 

Eldin clears his throat and asks 12 questions. At the end, he jokingly throws in, "Write the letter Marvarax."

Grianne successfully remembers 6 of them. And even then, the hand writing it terrible. 

...I don't...what? Marvarax is inst one of the letters you showed me. Are you teasing me ?

As a response Eldin simply giggles.

Somewhere at the end of town. Marvarax is taking a seat next a seat next to Sora his arm around her as they sit in an open grass field, the sun setting in the afternoon light “so, what do you think Sora” “It’s better then Ashton that’s for sure” Marvarax grimly replied “of course it is, what wouldn’t be better then that” he perks up as he continues “that doesn’t matter now Sora, we’re free here, we never have to worry about that again” Sora takes a look at Marvarax who looks back as she replies “you’re really sure, this is the place“ “I know it is” Marvarax pulls Sora into a hug as she hugs back, they stay they for a minute, before Marvarax pulls back and gets up ”We better get headed back to the glory, I hope Eldin’s back” Sora gets up as well “yay, let’s” the two head back to the glory, hoping that Eldin has returned 

Grianne puffs out her cheeks a little. I'm still mad at him you know. She cant old the scowl too long as she begins laughing in return.

After having a laugh Eldin says, "Well... you want to keep the great sword? I know he gave it to me to show that he doesn't mean any harm but... the only reason he pissed me off is because he messed with you. Maybe he was trying to help but judging by how out of it you were in the next battle, I'd say it did more harm than good. If he was to give this 'Peace Offering' to anyone, it should've been you."

Banjo man walks up to the barkeep.

"I need twelve of yer glass bottles fer target practice."

Harmond simply says, "No"
