OoC: Thats fair. I was just surprised at the dead quietness of this thread. I Cabot wait to hear the In Game account of this unusual silence at the Glory (and Greycastle Lounge?)

Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
When folk go to seek out 'Purple Worm' and vice versa, one Nevlin Frostcrag will motion to them, claiming to have the blessings of the 'Purple Worm'. It seems after hearing the concerns about the previous commission and given the "special" nature of the next match, the 'Purple Worm' has decided to change things up a bit by introducing variable betting. However, the minimum a stake can be no less than 5gp. The Vig has also been changed to reflect it.
The following information has also been passed along to appropriate folk at the Lounge even earlier on account of it having to be hand delivered (a better method wasn't worked out before now as far as I'm aware. >.>). (Also, DM Bdiddlybo! For the love mike jones, correct me quickly if I misinterpreted anything. XD)
S/N: Bets will for this match remain open until the end of the 2nd official round. A gambler can bet on multiple categories, but only once per. All bets are FINAL.
Stakes/Vig(commission): Min: 5gp Vig: 10% of stake. (ie. 5gp = 5sp vig or 100gp = 10gp)
First to Fall: 5 to 1: Eider 4 to 1: Toren 2 to 1: Baryk 3 to 1: The Masked Hunter
Winning Team:
4 to 2: Eider and Toren 2 to 4: Baryk and The Masked Hunter
Also Eider (through Nylah - Daughter) - Stake 10gp(Split for each category unless you meant to do 10 for each. Post was a bit "vague" on that point.) Otherwise, -1gp from winnings to cover vig 1st to Fall: Masked Hunter (15gp) and Team Eider Winning (20gp))
(In the future just to clarify the terms for 1st to fall. Incapacitation/made unconcious by spell, feature, or so on will not count unless the match ends without the victim having recovered from it. Otherwise a lvl 1 spellcaster that actually decides trying to cheese the system that way will probably always make big bucks with a lucky sleep).

Nara: Tiefling Bandit-Coliseum of Conquest: 2W-2L total downs: 3
(If I may ask. How are odds decided? IRL I do data entry and numbers just fascinate me.)
Still curious as to this. Or if it'll reveal too much or give insight into how to bet then nvm.
Also I had to show a co-worker the odds and ask which end of the spectrum was good and which was the long shot bets. I've never had to learn how to read betting odds. XD

Eh, I don't mind. And sorry for missing it before. For me, it boils down to how I "think" others "expect" the match to go based on win-loss ration and who is on what team as far who will win. As I'm still learning the process, it'll be awhile before/if I get into anything more complex.

OOC: Pretty much. I'm rooting for Shmitty. (Sorry Eider and Toren, but you gotta root for the underdog sometimes.)
Agreed. This a tense fight.

(The cameraman fell asleep so he didn't get any footage of what was going on in the town during this time.)
(Lol. By the way does anyone remember the odds for this fight? I know a few people bet on it. )

(I'll have it in a bit. But aside from yours Elite, I only know of some being interested, but not what those bets were.)

(Im not betting, is too late. I'm just curious about the system for the future. The championship fight is next after all. Regardless of who wins.)

Walton Gibson - Human Cleric, Level 1
(I'm a fan honestly, reminds me of the absurd-ism found in such classics as Futurama. Blaze on Banjo man, Blaze on.)

Seriously though, I really like him.)
