(Sorry for the lateness on this folk, but... here goes)
After carefully storing away the majority of her works, Marmaduke dons her 'purple worm's wardrobe, and makes the rounds among the patrons again, collecting and tallying up bets personally this time. As she seems to be in a better mood this time around, her methods are less forceful than last. A missive through an urchin is also sent to the Lounge reflecting the below information. When all is done she can be found seated at the bar.
"H-hey barkeep! Or... is it like Marv or something? Can I call you marv? Uhmm… This is probably gonna sound weird, but you wouldn't happen to know where Toren is staying, do ya?" She asks while trying her best to avoid eye contact with the goblin.
For those wishing to place bets:
When folk go to seek out the 'Purple Worm' and vice versa, she apologizes for the delay yet again. In an effort to make up for it however, bets will remain open until the conditions for 1st to Fall section have been met. Variable betting will also remain in place, as well as the minimum stake being at least 5 gp. She's also changed up the format to make it easier to read.
S/N Rulings:
For this match, bets will remain open until someone falls.
A gambler can bet on multiple categories, but only once per.
And to clarify, methods of incapacitation that do not involve a takedown (ie. Competitor being reduced to 0 hp) only qualifies as a 1st to fall IF said competitor REMAINS incapacitated until the match ends.
If multiple competitors are rendered incapacitated at the same time via the above method, and remain that way until the end of the match, the stake is considered a loss. In such an event, all proceeds is divided and funneled back into the arena to support future matches (or so she says at least)
If vig/commission is not paid upfront, it will be taken out of the winnings.
In the event of a draw (not sure if that's even possible), bets will be refunded (at cost to MD).
Those that don't understand the format change are free to ask for clarification.
Lastly, all bets are FINAL.
Stakes/Vig(commission): 5gp Min Vig: 10% of stake(s)
First to Fall: 6.2: Hammerstone the Battleforged 4.5: Talmich the Faithful 5.0: Errich the Swift 3.0: Morthos the Grim Archer 1.5: Parabolus the Marvelous 4.0: Crow the Beautiful
(ooc: Also if anyone wanted insight into the new format, feel free to ask. But if you want to do it the fun way, you can have your character roll insight with a DC 15.)

(I'm confused. 4.0 and 6.0 as decimal odds is 3-1 and 5-1 yes? Is there a 50% chance of a third party winning this? Did you intend to put 3-1 and 1-3 or 4.0 and 1.33?)
(Okay, now that I'm done banging my head against the wall. That's what I get for not doing a final check on an old-ish rough draft. XD)
(I believe the original idea was to include the hidden possibility of the draw case: ie. arena trap/minions taking out both parties at once. But never fully fleshed out that aspect, and even then it shouldn't be that high at the end of the day. XD With the corrections, it should be 6.0 and 1.2 or 5-1 and 1-5 Yes! 4.0 and 1.3. because of insider reason. And I'll make the edit to my last post.)

Swigg continues to work on his drawings while he hangs out with Scarab. He sees Marmaduke approach the bar, "Excuse me for for a minute,"Swigg hops off his stool and says to Scarab. "I gotta shoot for the moon here. Wish me luck playboy."
Swigg summons all the confidence he can muster performance17 and approaches the bookie.
"Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I just really dig yo vibe gurl" He opens his sketch pad and tears out a roughly drawn but flattering sketch of Maramaduke working on her mountain of papers. He climbs a stool and puts two silvers on the bar and says to Marv, "Get the Lady whatever she wants." He swings over to Marmaduke, "My name is Swigg and did you know that green and purple are complimentary colors?"*Wink*
Denka enters The Glory after Truth lead her there. She looks around at all the fighters and puts on her best air of confidence before approaching the main bar. Excuse me, she says to whom ever is tending the bar area What do you serve here ?
At first, Marmaduke doesn't say anything. Every since Swigg strolled into her peripheral, she kept an eye on him, but that was the extent of things. "... Surprise me, Marv." She finally says, having looked briefly at the dragonborn prior to given Swigg her full attention. "Okay 'Swigg'. I'll bite." She says smiling just toothily enough to reveal sharp canines. "Call me Marmaduke. What is this realllly about? Hmm?" She asks curiously.
"Be honest with me. Are you after some inside track maybe? Work, perhaps?" Marmaduke goes on to say, leaning in closer. Once it looks like Swigg might be distracted she tries to slip the paper free to take a closer gander: Sleight of Hand: 10. Short hand of the note:
Marmaduke offers to pay for up to 700gp worth of scribed scrolls. The scroll(s) can be of either level 1 or 2, but must be from the school of Evocation, Necromancy, Transmutation, or Conjuration and must be non-rituals. This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Swigg smiles back showing his own rows of sharp teeth. He points to his golden canine and says, "I got this tooth because I never tell lies but I aint no snitch. All heart, I feel you and I am casting out a vibe. The fact that you are a Priestess of Luck does sweeten the pot a bit but my game is true."He makes direct eye contact and gets closer to Marmaduke so only she can hear him.
Performance10 "I am who I am. I have seen the chaos of the multiverse and I just want all people in all universes to groove together ya know? Thats what I want, and right now I want you too."
Swigg doesn't notice her taking the sketch away. "How about we start simple. You tell me a story about yourself and I will trade you with one of mine?"
Although Marmaduke's smike wavers, she doesn't retreat when Swigg gets in closer. Over the course of the next few moments, the dwarven lass goes from mildly confused and intrigued to wide-eyed and blushing after jerking back away from the goblin at the end. "THAT'S.... That's...." Unable to find the words, Marmaduke puffs out her cheeks and glares. But her heart wasn't really into any real menace behind the look.
So, she eventually gives up and sighs, then lets out a giggle as she turns to face the bar. "I'm well aware that your people have strange... tastes. But you-..." She shakes her head. "You are the strangest goblin I've ever met. Marv! Make the next one stronger." She says before kicking back the first one if has already been delivered.
"Only because you have me curious, I... hmm... let's see... I used to belong to a mercenary company called 'Mya's Unrelenting', and we operated just a ways from the Underchasm. Or Rift, as outsiders like to call the area. A mostly dwarven company. Though... there were these svirfniblim twins, and the one black scaled kobold." She glances over to the picture still in hand, seeming to consider it for a moment. Afterwards, she just shrugs, folds it up, and slip it into her pocket if not stopped. "What about you, smooth one?" She jests.
Swiggs eyes brighten, "I've never heard of the Rift before...but before I ask you more questions I guess its my turn to share" He sees Marmaduke pocketing his sketch and is filled with a sense of accomplishment. "I have a habit of breaking into libraries and their private special books section. One day I got caught and sent to jail. After a bit, I convinced the prisoners and some guards I could eat fiddy eggs. I could NOT eat fiddy eggs, but before I knew it everyone was laughing so hard they just left my cell open..." He takes a sip of his summer beer, "Now the law would say I am a grifter who broke out of prison, but the guards didnt chase me or post wanted signs so I think I just made friends. Now tell mere more about this work around the rift..."
Marmaduke smirks and nods. "As you should." She encourages as she propped an elbow on the bar and her head in hand, readying herself to listen. "I've heard of some bad bets, but that is the most silly one I've heard yet." Marmaduke admits as he drink before snickering and shaking her head. "Hmph! Don't let the crazy man with the banjo here that, or you'll probably never hear the end of it." She warns playfully. The mirth quickly fades when she starts considering the last question.
Eventually, she straightens back out in her seat and starts staring deeply into her cup. "There isn't much to tell. We did what most mercenary companies did. Though, our specialty was more in guarding and hunting, then warring and sludgework and so on. Not that we didn't do any guarding. But-..." She just makes some non-commital and off-handed gesture. "Mother -- the captain was funny like that. Said we were less likely to get caught-up in inter-clan auroch shite. But again, things happened. And there was always plenty of work thanks to drow, kobolds, and gobliiii--And now things are awkward." She states abruptly, her blush returning in full force.
