When folk go to seek out the 'Purple Worm' and vice versa, there's a new girl waiting in her place. The usual stylized purple robes are bit on the wide and shorter side, making them more into some kind of hooded tunic on the girl. She also is riding a lion, so... there's that too. Anyhow, the teenaged half-drow has been seen in the suspected woman's company, and supposedly has the wyrm's approval while she is away for the next couple of days to handle things. Anyone with complaints are immediately directed to the lion. Those that don't are welcomed with open arms, and treated to the uncanny wisdom once thought to be possessed by the Purple Worm when she first debuted.
Almost as if she possessed the Enhance Ability of a Dracotaur's Wisdom. (Mine as well make the most of it, since I'm stuck with it for another level. X3)
There's been a curious change to betting arrangements for the level 6 match. Bets will still remain open until the conditions for 1st to Fall section have been met. So, if the 1st Blood conditions are met first, bets are still open EXCEPT for that category. Variable betting has been temporarily restructured, as well as the minimum stake being at least 10 gp, and maximum set to 100gp. She's also changed up the format to make it easier to read. (Stake x Odds = Payout(-Minus Stake, though it is returned as part of payout)) S/N Rulings:
For this match, bets will remain open until someone falls.
A gambler can bet on multiple categories, but only once per.
And to clarify, methods of incapacitation that do not involve a takedown (ie. Competitor being reduced to 0 hp) only qualifies as a 1st to fall IF said competitor REMAINS incapacitated until the match ends.
If multiple competitors are rendered incapacitated at the same time via the above method, and remain that way until the end of the match, the stake is considered a loss. In such an event, all proceeds is divided and funneled back into the arena to support future matches (or so she says at least)
If vig/commission is not paid upfront, it will be taken out of the winnings.
Competitors are allowed to place a bet either personally or by a proxy. HOWEVER, they are restricted to placing said bet upon their team's victory or personally achieving 1st Blood.
In the event of a draw (not sure if that's even possible), bets will be refunded (at cost to MD) in regards to any placed on a final winning team.
Those that don't understand the format change are free to ask for clarification.

Calgin sees the numbers go up for the match and decides to place some bets, not having done so for quite a while now. He bets 100 on Nykkan for first blood, another 100 on Tenrok to be first to fall, and 100 more on Beastmen Brawlers winning, as well as 30 more for the VIG up front.
(Got more money than I know what to do with at this point. Might as well spend some)
(Yah I've thought about it. Not really built to take full advantage of it, but could be entertaining. Too bad i couldn't get the mounted combatant feat for another 4 levels)

(@AnimeSquirrel She'll accept the 1st two if they are both 100, but the cap was set there for this round of betting. Until Marm can find another partner to potentially cover any unexpected losses she'll be keeping it around that range. Though considering Marm is working through a NPC who may or may not be on the money hungry side, I... could have her roll a Wis Save to see if she accepts the bet as is if you wish? DC would be 14 for the little half-drow. Failing would mean her accepting it. Up to you if you want me to give it a go.).
(@Everyone You know what's funny? Everyone Didn't bet on Nykkan last time, and lost on that front. Guess folk are learning!)
Gell puts down 25gp on Rothander getting 1st Blood. 25gp on Tenrok being 1st to fall. 25gp on TMHE winning. He pays the 7gp and 5sp Vig up front as well.

Vogan - [Goliath-Hill]Bard - ???(A Dungeon-Delving Campaign Group C)
(I will nearly die laughing if after all those bets on 1st Blood being a player, the NPC hazards that show up wind up being the ones that do it after so long. XD)

The Stand-In/Protégé (or so she says) of the Purple Worm is having a blast! Even some of the reluctant betters have warmed up to her and her Lion companions administration. Riding the last vestiges of a Dracotaur's Wisdom, Zalandra works extra hard making a few adjustments to Marm's prediction for the next match up.
Persuasion: 10 if at advantage from Lion Buddy 18.
