The Captain roars in pain as the arrow head just pierces through the padded joints in his half plate. The ghouls launch themselves at the zombies that are actual as an unloving meat shield between you and them.

The pirates tear one of the zombies into pieces and severely damage another. 

Draskan stares at the captain Youre next he says with menace, before turning to face those in front of him, stretching out his hands with thumbs touching and fingers spread, a thin sheet of flames shoots forth from your outstretched fingertips as he casts Burning Hands. Each creature in a 15-foot cone must make a DC12 dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 11 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The three nearest ghouls are engulfed in flame, shrieking horribly as the put out the flames on their melting flesh

The zombies pile in on the burning ghouls.

Between them and their ungainly flailing they take down one of the burnt pirates. 

Recognising the first mate from the ship and the danger he posed, Sheridan mumbles a quick Hex at him, before launching an eldritch blast and moving up on to the prow of the ship.

Hex - 1 and disadvantage on dex saves

The hex magic worms its way up the first mate, leaving its undead flesh looking even more sallow. The eldritch blast goes wide in teh melee and strikes the mizzen mast 

Constantin takes aim and tries to finish off the burnt ghoul pirates.

He head shots one ghoul killing it but the other takes a shot to the chest and remains standing

The captain bellows a warcry Have at them ye scurvy dogs!!  before picking a javelin up from the railing next to him and launching it at Draskan

He then launches another up at Oriki

The javelin bounces harmlessly off of Draskan's armoured shoulder but the second scores a trail of blood and pain across Oriki's cheek as he tries to dodge it at the last minute

Oriki takes aim at a ghoul before trying to dart behind the mast and out of sight.

The arrow streaks down and terminates one of the unburnt ghouls as Oriki slips behind the mast

The pirates continue to fight off the zombies apart from the first mate who swings for Draskan
