The gladiator smashes his shield into Draskans chest dealing 10 points of damage and potentially sending hik stumbling before turning around and stabbing Oriki teoce with his spear causing two nasty wounds.
The golden figure slips around the whirling melee and runs to the prone form of Sheridan and casts Cure Wounds healing for 18 hit points before raising their pistol and firing it at the gladiator dealing 7 points of force damage
Sheridan sits up with a jolt as he comes to from the healing energy. He looks at the golden figure with confusion and thanks and then backs off from the gladiator, blasting as he goes.
Invigorated by the healing, Sheridan puts a bit more gusto I to the blasts, while fixing the gladiator with a cursed gaze. The first blast hits his legs. Weakened by the Hex, it knocks them out from under him and he starts at fall forward. A half-second later the second blast hits him in the face, whipping his head back in the opposite direction to his falling mass and breaking his neck.
The golden figure steps out into the glad so that the three of you are in plain view. I got no idea how you have survived this long. Why haven't you got rid of the tracking spell on the rod yet? Or did you think that the Baron wouldn't keep an eye on her magical inventory?
Serpentia cocks a head to one side as this happens to Sheridan. Fascinating…. Once he regains the ability to hear we can head towards Little Coson, its a village nearby where i had a laboratory set up. We can remove the tracking spell there without removing the other enchantments on that rod
Sheridan can't read lips, but after the internal din passes and he's told what was said he's very happy to accept her help and gets himself collected to go.
My name is Serpentia, I am an artificer and scholar. I was not specifically looking for you per se, I was forcibly evicted from my laboratory by a coven of spellcasters and I had heard rumours of several vampires slain in an attack on Baron Mercurio's country manor. Knowing how to track the enchantments that the baron uses as I do I thought that anyone who was crazy enough to take on the Khargat would probably have the chops to help me get my laboratory back
These spellcasters she is talking about might be the hags we're looking for. What do you think? Shall we go with her? She has helped us once already and hasn't tried to hide that it was in her own interests to do so.
The shortsword is batted away by the gladiators shield but the rapier scores a shallow wound across the shoulder
The snake figure casts thunder wave dealing damage and knocking the assassin back before shooting its jaw off with her arcane firearm.

Seeing the attack on Oriki, Draskan reacts with a backhand swing of his maul
Draskan, still staggering from the blow with the sheild swings wildly again with his maul with no real point of aim
Oriki sees Draskan stagger and swipes at his attacker with shortsword, before chugging a health potion
The short sword is parried deftly while the healing ption takes affect

Sheridan looks at the rod.
Wait...this has been tracking us? Well, I feel a bit foolish. Sorry everyone.
Sheridan examines the staff for a few seconds and then claps his hands to his ears as if he is trying to block something out.

You set off and after a few hours Serpentia calls a halt and you stop for a meal.
Now that we have a moment, I have to ask; who are you? Did you find us by accident or were you looking for us?

Sheridan turns to the others.

Oriki nods, turns towards Serpentia and fixes her with his gaze.
I'd say so. She seems like an alright sort. And if we're wrong, well.... we can kill her and loot her body, yes?
Oriki claps her on the shoulder with a smile before moving over to the fallen enemies and rifling through their belongings.
