Not for the first time, Randall wonders if he didn't suffer a skull fracture when being beaten by those awful skeletons, and this is all some bizarre death dream. Nothing for it but to press on, however.

The squirrel, happy to have your attention again bounds to the west side of the building and heads north, to the back.
Following him takes you to a stair case that leads up to a door. You can see in the window; this appears to be a kitchen! No wonder the squirrel thought to take you here ...
Shrek doffs his humongous pack and swivels it around to the front, so it appears like he's holding on to a large delivery bag. He'll then open the door and step into the kitchen. If anyone is inside the kitchen, he'll cheerfully announce "United Parcels of the Swordcoast delivery! Where you want diss food dropped off?" If no one is in the kitchen, he'll step in and motion for the others to follow.
Dusk is falling at this point. Shrek sees no one in the kitchen so he opens the door and steps in.
Hot coals smolder in two big brick hearths in the middle of this room, and the smell of baking bread fills the air. Sacks of flour, casks of salted fish, crates of dried vegetables, and wheels of cheese clutter the walls, along with well-worn work tables and a collection of mismatched cutlery. A doorway to the west leads to a washroom where three large wooden tubs stand. A second door leads south. It is relatively quiet but you can hear the sound of utensils on dishes; there are people eating on the other side.
Ankita tiptoes into the kitchen and her stomach makes a huge rumbling sound. Embarrassed, she remarks, “Sorry, all this food… mmmm” she reaches up and takes a chunk of cheese. “So, what’s our plan?”
Shrek hefts two sacks of flour (one in each hand), and prepares them as if they were gigantic hand grenades, ready to throw them if/when the inevitable attack begins.
After some time, you hear the sound of chairs moving and footsteps. The door opens and five monks walk in, hands full of clay dishes. The lead monk stares in astonishment at the groups presence in the kitchen. The astonishment quickly changes to anger, and it appears clear they are NOT happy to have visitors.
You have a surprise round; I'll roll initiative in a bit.
Randall's a nice guy. Really. Were it not for circumstances, he would still be happily and lazily drifting through life, pounding out nails or horseshoes at his little roadside smithy. The last thing in the world he would want to do is bust into someone's home and try to kill them.
But these are strange times. Bandits and skeletons outside his town; madmen in the quarry; flying buzzard knights. And through it all, weirdos with stone masks have been connected to it all. Randall is going to relax, trust that they have the right bad guys, and is going to throw his spear at the chest of the first one through the door, then draw his short sword, attack and prepare to fight until he gets some answers, or dies trying.
Maneuvers: Quick Toss
As a bonus action, you can expend one superiority die and make a ranged attack with a weapon that has the thrown property. You can draw the weapon as part of making this attack. If you hit, add the superiority die to the weapon’s damage roll.

Randall's spear flies true, embedding itself deep in the first monks shoulder. While the monk is still reacting to the surprise, he follows quickly with a wicked shortsword slash, dropping the monk before she even really had time to process why there were strangers in the kitchen. His last thoughts are of his God and how she must have failed her somehow. Why did this occur on the night she was on dish duty?!
Ankita, feeling a little bad about trespassing in the monastery, but wants to help out her new friends, turns to the monks and casts entangle to incorporate as many as possible. She watches as the vines grow up through the floor boards and enjoys the transformation of bringing some of the outside in, even if it is to attack the monks.

3 of the monks become suddenly wrapped in creepers that exploded out of the floor boards. The fourth stares in horror that the earth is fighting against them.
Startled by the monks showing up at the door, Shrek is just standing there, bags of flour in each hand, mouth agape, not exactly sure what the heck is going on. Shrugging, he throws both bags of flour through the now-open door into the dining room (?) area, blindly hoping he'll hit someone or something.
OOC: Not going to roll attack rolls, since the flour grenades weren't meant as ranged blunt weapons. Rather, they were meant to startle everyone and hopefully 1) give us the initiative advantage, and 2) make the invisible, visible. Oh well. It's the thought that counts, right?!
Olaerys strikes one of the monks that is not entangled, pulling out his battle axe and saying to them “You people are so rude, you don’t even know how to answer the door properly!”
Battle axe : Attack: 22 Damage: 6
Bonus action : casts shield of faith on himself, increasing AC by 2 up to 20.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The third monk, failing to escape the vines, yells loudly "Intruders! We need assistance in the kitchen! I don't know who you are but you are not welcome here! Leave now!"

Shrek, frothing from the mouth due to his raging, yells out to the restrained monks "Why you no like my baking? Not good enough for weak stomach?!" before lashing out at one of the restrained monks (@ advantage due to Restrained) with his halberd-
