Bral you open the door and you see two beds with torn canopies stand against opposite walls with a tattered rug lying on the floor between them. Set into the far wall is a fireplace black with soot. A soft hiss issues from the hearth.

The dragonet looks at the sword for a moment, almost panicked but then sees Bral's head and calms, as if they're waiting for a pat. It then has a moment of clarity and writes on the bed in a language you don't recognize.
OOC: Does anyone know Ignan? It's a primordial language. If you know Giant or Abyssal, that could work with a history check.

Amelia’s had a weird time since she left Elturel. Learning Primordial just sort of happened. She approaches the bed, reading the words as they’re written.
After someone translates the message, Bral leans down towards the dragonet, "We have no intention of hurting you, but who is this Vladimir? Perhaps we can help each other. We're looking to get to the highest point in this manor. I feel like you might know the way."

Baudric moves to follow it out of the room, but looks back when the others don't come as well, "It's not leading us there? I thought it flew off to lead the way?"
Those who follow the dragonet go up the stairs. There's a door that opens and the dragonet flies through it. As you enter the room, The west wall of this fifty-foot-long, thirty-foot-wide audience hall has crumbled, leaving a gaping hole and a pile of rubble. Weapons and shields that once hung from the walls have fallen to the floor and succumbed to rust. A large, wooden throne carved to resemble a dragon with unfolding wings faces three tall windows to the west. Slumped in the throne is a gaunt, armored figure with one gauntlet wrapped around the hilt of a greatsword.
The figure sees the dragonet and reaches out to it. "Lt. Soos, it's been too long. The dragonet smiles and despairs. The figure turns its attention to you all and says in a booming voice. "Go away!"
As he says this, you see a holy symbol dangling from the throne, specifically the holy symbol Madam Eva spoke about.

Amelia shrugs and follows him in, keeping an eye out for anything she wouldn't immediately notice.

Baduric as you approach, a small, hissing dragon made of ash and smoke erupts from the fireplace, filling the room with soot as it beats its wings.
The dragonet perches on the bed for a moment and curiously watches the people in the room. It doesn't appear aggressive toward you.

Bral sheathes his sword as he carefully approaches the dragonet, "Where did you come from?"
He casts a quick look over his shoulder at the fireplace.
"Were you hiding in there?"
He reaches out to the dragonet with an open hand to place it on the creature's head.

Ok, everyone got 13 points of healing from the prayer! Including Soth, Rose, and Thorn.
Estelle knows Abyssal, Celestial, and Primordial, due to her sage background. She approaches and watches the words appear.
What does it say?

Estelle and Amelia, you see the note that says "I'm looking for Commander Vladimir. Please don't hurt me."

"Well," Bral says. "I guess it didn't take too kindly towards us? Anyway, what did it write this time?"

“Head Knight,” Amelia translates. “And yeah, I guess we can’t help each other. At least it didn’t come to a fight.”
Baudric moves to follow it out of the room, but looks back when the others don't come as well, "It's not leading us there? I thought it flew off to lead the way?"
(Which way did it fly out of the room, for some reason I got the impression it flew out the window.)

OOC: No, it flew out of the door and headed down the hallway toward and up the staircase to the net floor.

"I also feel like it wants us to follow. Like it's leading the way. Let's go!"
Estelle will chase after it.
Bral shrugs shoulders, "Oh, maybe you're right. Although I wished it gave more of an indication for us to follow it."
Then he too leaves the room and begins following it through the manor.

“Yeah, would’ve helped to actually communicate that,” Amelia grumbles as she heads the way it left.
