Bral turns to the others, holding up a hand to signal for them to wait. Whether they do or not he doesn't wait to find out before moving inside the chapel. He climbs up the wall and to the roof of the chapel. Then he hangs from the roof hoping to get a better look at the two dark shapes in the chairs and the cloaked figure draped over the alter.

Seeing that coast is clear, Bral jumps down from the roof to the floor carefully slowing himself to reduce impact. Then he heads over to the doors of the chapel to let everyone else know the coast is clear.
(Let me know if he takes fall damage.)

Baudric, the statuette is a 12-inch-tall statuette made of the purest silver, weighing 10 pounds. It depicts a cleric kneeling in supplication.
You also notice the corpse near it is wearing ears a handsome, fur-lined black cloak embroidered with golden thread (worth 250 gp) and a suit of chain mail. He's also carrying a black mace.

Bral will go and investigate the bodies sitting in the chairs to see if they have any clues about who they might have been or if they have anything of interest on them.

Ez nods as she walks past you. "Follow me. We need to go down the stairs." She leads you down a set of stairs into the Larders of Ill Omen. When you reach the bottom of the stairs, to the left is the wine cellar. You see arched frames of stone form a low, wet ceiling over this wine cellar. Great casks line the walls, their bands rusting and their contents long since spilled onto the floor. A few hungry rats make their home here, but upon your sudden arrival, they retreat to the shadows.
To your right is the hall leading to the Servant's Quarters. This hall stands in deadly silence. Heavy beams support a sagging, ten-foot-high ceiling. Fog clings to the floor, obscuring everything that lies less than three feet above it. A giant shadow lurches across the ceiling as a dark figure shuffles purposefully down the corridor toward you.

Bral stands there watching the figure shuffling towards them. He tries to guess what the creature's intentions might be, before waiting for a sign from Ez as to whether she thinks this creature is a possible threat or if she was simply waiting for him.
(Inight: 23)
If Ez seems alarmed by the creature's presence, then Bral will move to hide in the shadows.

Amelia lifts her blades as the creature approaches, holding them in a defensive stance. She tries to identify what this thing is.
(What would that be a roll for?)
OOC: It'd be a nature check.
The creature doesn't seem to notice either Bral or Baudric. Bral, you sense that he's a servant of Strahd and lives in these catacombs, but he's not aggressive at the moment.
"You lot need to get to your room," He says.
Ez nods. "Yes Cyrus, we do. Please take us to the Hall of Bones.
"An unusual request, but I suppose the master has reasons for you to rest there," Cyrus says.
He leads you to the Hall of Bones and you see the followng:
Dark stains cover the floor of this area. Large oak tables, scarred and beaten, lay scattered like toys about the room, their wood crushed and splintered. Replacing them are furnishings made entirely of human bones.
The walls and the twenty-foot-high vaulted ceiling are a sickly yellow color, not because of faded or timeworn plaster but because they are adorned with bones and skulls arranged in a morbidly decorative fashion, giving the room a cathedral-like quality. Four enormous mounds of bones occupy the corners of this ossuary, and garlands of skulls extend from these mounds to a chandelier of bones that hangs from the ceiling above a long table constructed of bones in the center of the room. Ten chairs made of bones and festooned with decorative skulls surround the table, resting atop which is an ornate, bowl-shaped vessel made of yet more bones.
The doors to the north and south are sheathed in bone, but the steel-banded double doors in the center of the east wall are not. Above these eastern doors is mounted the skull of a dragon.
"I'll be off making dinner," Cyrus says before he leaves for the kitchen.

(Baudric, you can take the advantage on your next initiative roll :) ) Estelle holds, waiting for word from Bral or any sounds. Perception: 4
Baudric nods at the signal and holds his crossbow ready to fire on anything except Bral that comes back out.
On the chapel is a corpse wearing chainmail and wielding a mace. One of the shapes is a statuette. The two dark shapes are just bodies as well.

Baudric hefts the silver statue and looks at the cloak, "Certainly valuable, if we can find a buyer. Thorn, is there a market nearby?"
Bral, the bodies are just dead but they don't have anything on them worth taking.
Thorn, who climbed inside the window nods. "Not here. We'll have to get it looked at in Barovia."

Bral looks up to see Thorn climb through the window, "So looks like this area is empty. Now, which way should we go?"
