As Ragnarok enters the cave the sounds of the canines fighting fills the chamber, just covering the sounds of the stream rushing down. The small ledge next to the stream is a little slippery, but the gravel gives it enough grit to walk on easily.
As his eyes adjust to the dark Ragnarok can see the bottom of what appears to be a pile of rubble leading up and opening about twenty feet deeper in the cave. The cave begins to bend and just at the bend he can make out a bridge heading into a passage that is above the stream and he would guess above his head by about ten feet or so.
Just around the corner to his right is an opening that has natural steps on its incline, he can just make out a large wolf moving around back there, probably the source of the growling, barking, and biting noises, or at least one of them.
As the others make their way past Crom to the cave, he straightens up from his investigative work and whispers to Ink in front of him, "We may be dealing with more than just 6 goblins, so be careful. Pass it along." Then he falls in behind Ink and prepares to enter the cave, bow ready and heart racing.
Mal rummages around in his pack for a moment, feeling around in the darkness for something. As he follows Ragnarok, one hand on his back to be led, Mal pushes a ration forward toward the leading Half-Orc whispering as he does "use this on the wolves if it's needed, before engaging, It may be quieter than attacking but it does mean they'll be behind us"
Mal then waits for Ragnarok to lead on making sure Calantha is close by and following next to him, and listening for Ink, Chensica and finally Crom as they bring up the rear.
Crom swallows apprehensively as he follows Ink out of the sun and into the cave. Never having been a big fan of dark or enclosed spaces, he looks forward to getting the job done and being back out in the open. But he has come to trust the party. Ragnarok and Calantha had proven themselves as capable warriors, and Mal's experience had led them true so far. Ink and Chensica had likewise displayed great utility in a variety of situations with their magics. Having faith in the party's judgement, and that Ragnarok and the rest of the vanguard would be able navigate them to their goal, Crom focuses his attention on keeping a lookout and guarding their rear.
Calantha isn't sure if she's too keen on leaving the wolves behind them as they move deeper into the cave, but she trusts Mal's judgment. She's noticed he always seems to have some sort of ingenious trick up his sleeve. She, Mal, and Ragnarok are in the lead. Gripping her sword tight in her hand, she prepares herself for anything. The goblins must be deeper in the cave, past whatever sort of dog or wolf fighting ring they've got set up in here. She can't help but frown in distaste; she's always had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs.
As you all step in to the cave you can see a bit better with the torchlight. Just inside the cave mouth, a few uneven stone steps lead up to a small, dank chamber on the east side of the passage. The cave narrows to a steep fissure at the far end, and is filled with the stench of animals. Savage snarls and the sounds of rattling chains greet your ears where three wolves are chained up just inside the opening. Each wolf’s chain leads to an iron rod driven into the base of a stalagmite.
At the sight of you they begin growling and barking, their chains rattling louder as they pull on them trying to make their way at you.
"keep left Rag and throw the ration at 'em, distract so we can keep movin" Mal whispers up towards Ragnarok's ear whilst squinting to the eastern tunnel in the dim torchlight.
"I reckon we get into the tunnel going left and double back for these noisy bastards if needs be"
Crom hates to see wild animals chained up so. The cruelty of it sets his blood boiling and strengthens his resolve for the task ahead. "Some creatures need ta die," he mutters to convince himself. And when their bloody work was done, Crom would be back to carefully release the wolves back to the freedom and open air that he himself was eager to return to.
Calantha is appalled at the condition of the wolves and how cruelly they have been chained. At the same time she is relieved that they will not be able to come up and attack them from behind. Without realizing it, she has the same thought as Crom and hopes they will be able to free the creatures.
As you make your way deeper into the cave the main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream.
In the shadows of the ceiling to the north, you can just make out the dim shape of a rickety bridge of wood and rope crossing over the passage ahead of you. Another passage intersects this one, twenty feet above the floor.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the group passes the wolves, Crom turns to look back at the wolf room to make sure their is no pursuit incoming, and then scans the rest of the cave around them, paranoid about hidden enemies and secret paths.

Calantha's eyes dart this way and that. She notices the path that leads west and wonders if they should take that one. This cave is a lot bigger than she originally suspected.

Whispering, Ink passes on Crom's warning to the others, "Be prepared for more than goblins, friends..."
