Continuing to run southeast down the bridge, Crom takes up position at the end of the corridor, trying to take cover where the stone wall curves. He knocks his next arrow and lines up his shot on the far end of the bridge where the goblins are coming from.
Crom is hoping to benefit from partial cover, and is holding an attack action, to be triggered by the first goblin coming around the bend into his line of sight.
After slaying the first goblin, Calantha follows Crom and runs back across the bridge. She readies her torch, preparing to throw it and ignite the goblins when they pass over the oily bridge.

The first goblin to come around the corner takes an arrow in the throat from Crom and clutches at their throat as they slowly fall to their knees.
Another goblin comes running around the corner shrieking and are about to dash out on to the bridge, 5 or 10 feet behind it a cluster of 3 goblins are scrambling down the tunnel. As the first goblin makes it out on to the bridge Calantha throws down her torch and the oil ignites in a burst of flame, burning the first goblin. It lets out terrible cries of pain as it is severely, but not fatally, burned.
20 The goblin behind tries to stop himself short of the flames. And just barely manages to stop short as he skitters to a halt.
(Back to you all. I basically have you with a clear line for the 4 goblins there - with the bridge on fire in the way of course.)
Crom fires off yet another arrow at the goblins, determined to keep up the pressure and capitalize on their momentary disorganization. The arrow streaks through the flames towards the 2nd goblin back, leaving the burning goblin in front to Ink and Callantha.
Attack: 19 Damage: 11
After taking his shot, Crom steps back around the corner, out of view while he readies his next arrow.
"Or kaarthaar an draal! Lhol or daan rherthaan ac koc dhuur or keklaan, or draal maagaan. Or shuulaan! (Your leader is dead. Jump off the bridge and run for your life, or die here. Your choice!)" He calls out.

If Calantha can reach the burning goblin without getting too close to the fire, she will attack it with her longsword. Otherwise, she will throw a handaxe at it instead.

1 The first goblin has been screaming in the fire, but their screech changes into something different as they grab their head and fall dead in the flames.
The second goblin takes a goblin to the eye and more horrible screeching joins in with the burning goblin as it falls to the ground.
Calantha throws her axe one of the two remaining goblins, but splits the difference and the axe flies through the middle of them.
The remaining goblins look between each other and then you see them turn and run back down the tunnel they chased you from.
Crom hesitates for a moment. It had been a long time since anyone had called him a friend. Shifting focus back to the task at hand, he says, "Well I suppose we're goin' after them then! Once these flames die down a bit, of course,"he adds.
"Listen, that went pretty well just now. I'm glad to have the two of you fightin' by my side," Crom says, taking a moment to address his two companions. He turns to Ink. "And thank you, friend, for keepin' us safe and lookin' after us while we was down. I'm sure I owe you my life."
Calantha bows her head before Ink and Crom. Then she gives the gnome a smile.
"Crom is right. Thank you for watching over us, Ink. I am proud to fight beside you, beside both of you," she said.
Calantha hasn't felt such camaraderie since her time with the Singing Blades. Seeing as how that membership ended, she hopes this will be different. Crom and Ink seem like good people, good friends. So was Mal...Just thinking of Mal and Ragnarok makes the smile die on her face.
"Let's go find our friends," she says.

(If you all want to have waited for it to die down it won't take long, but the goblins will likely be gone and you know this. If you want to try and tumble through in an attempt to strike down the last two who dashed off, you can make an acrobatics check.)
Crom too makes no move to cross while he waits for the fires to fade. He is pretty sure that soon they will be leaving the dreaded cave behind, and the surviving goblins can rot in their hole for all he cares.
With the flames subsided, Crom hurries down the bridge to the turn in the tunnel. He stops to wait for his companions before carefully looking into the next room.

"Who has the upper hand now, eh?!" blurts Ink in nervous excitement.
Then, looking at Crom and Calantha, he asks, "What now, friends? Mal and Rag are in that direction, right?"
(Ink hasn't abandoned hope that Mal and Ragnarok yet live)

(Assuming the bridge is safe to cross, right?)

"For me, bravery is a team sport," remarks Ink. "If neither of you is crossing this bridge, then..."
Ink holds his ground with Calantha and Crom.
After a few moments the fire dies down and you all have no problem making it across.
With the flames subsided, Crom hurries down the bridge to the turn in the tunnel. He stops to wait for his companions before carefully looking into the next room.
