you cause numbing frost to form on one creature that you can see within range. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 1d6 cold damage, and it has disadvantage on the next weapon attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.

Og will take out his Gem of Brightness and use 1 command word (no charge use) to illuminate the area. "I doubt we'll find anything on these things, but let's see if there's any sign of the Prince's tracks or anything nearby to loot."
"I guess we were right about the undead thing." Celus puts his mace back into his belt and prods the fresher ghoul with his boot. "Whatever created these ghouls must be close though. Unless this unholy place completes feats of necromancy on its own that is." Celus looks to Honor. "If i had to guess i would go for someone doing this rather than a curse. So please, lead on dear tracker, but do be alert at all times. There is no question to what could pop up from the soil."
He looks Honor a quick nod as he finishes his sentence and looks to the rest of the party. "Also, does anyone have any minor, and i mean minor, wounds i can take care of? I have limited healing powers, but i can fix a little cut or scratch if anyone wants me to." (OOC 5 hp heal)

You guys are standing in the graveyard with no enemies in sight. There is the path that you took in and a single path that leads out.
Og
As you begin investigating the area you don't see much of anything interesting. However, when you lean against a tombstone you accidentally knock it over with your weight and you see underneath the tombstone was a satchel. As you open it up to see what's inside you find 2 potions that are familiar to you. They are Potion of Healing.
Og regains his footing and picks up the satchel, "Talk about lucky, found 2 healing potions under this tombstone. Probably stashed away by someone. Should come in handy in a bind unless someone needs one now?"
He sheaths his greatsword and brushes himself off then hands a potion to anyone who is hurt from the fight so they may quaff one (please be sure to state that you need it, so I can mark it off my CS). If no one claims one then he puts them in his pack.
"Alright, let's move. Same formation." Og falls in behind Honor.

As the group moves forward, in the same formation, Honor a Teagan you see ahead of you not a group of enemies but a stone table and laid across the table is an assortment of glass bottles all of different shapes and sizes. As the group gets closer and closer to this table Honor you notice something out of the ordinary.
Honor
You notice just a faint flicker of a glyph in front of the table.

Celus walks up to the table and inspects the contraption. He investigates each bottle and classifies them by shape and size. "Interesting. Seems to be a puzzle of some kind."

Celus as you step up to the table you, unknowingly, step onto a glyph. As soon as you foot hits the glyph it lights up and suddenly your entire group is encased in a huge dome of black fire.
I need everyone to give me a DC 15 CONSTITUTION SAVING THROW in order to within stand the heat as the fire appears. On a failed save you'll take 23 Fire Damage or half on a successful one.
Celus after the fire appears you look at the table where there is now writing carved in that you didn't see before.
Danger lies before you, while safety lies behind, Two of us will help you, whichever you would find, One among us seven will let you move through fire, Another will allow you to move through the darkness inside, Two among our number hold only nettle wine, Three of us are killers, waiting hidden in line. Choose, unless you wish to stay here for evermore, To help you in your choice, we give you these clues four: First, however slyly the poison tries to hide You will always find some on nettle wineβs left side; Second, different are those who stand at either end, But if you would through fire, neither is your friend; Third, as you see clearly, all are different size, Neither dwarf nor giant holds death in their insides; Fourth, the second left and the second on the right Are twins once you taste them, though different at first sight.
It was frost bite cantrip
frostbite
Teagan's frosty magic spells the demise of the ghoul. Who froze and then shattered into a million tiny pieces.
Honor you are up. Griff you are on deck.
Update Map:
Honor shoots both her arrows at the ghoul at E6 attack one 24 damage 5; attack two 20 damage 7 then looks around for more undead 15 her favoured enemy.
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Both arrows find their marks but the ghoul still stands. You donβt see anymore undead within the immediate vicinity Honor.
Map is the same. Griff youβre up the ghoul is on deck.
Griff retaliates against the ghoul who bit him, swinging his halberd up towards the jaw of the creature before wheeling around for a second strike.
1st Halberd Attack with Brute Force: 19 Damage: 17 Slashing
2nd Halberd Attack with Brute Force: 23 Damage: 18 Slashing
Polearm Master Bonus Action (if either of above attacks hit): Attack: 26 Damage: 14 Bludgeoning
Ryndar Shadowsbane - Lvl 3 Eldarin Fighter | Kassar - Lvl 2 Lizardfolk Druid (Circle of Stars) | Finnegan (Finn) Taggert - Lvl 1 Human Cleric (Peace Domain) |
Verdan Schmidt - Lvl 2 Half-Elf Bard | Grithik - Lvl 5 Deep Gnome Warlock (Celestial)
OOC: damage rolls because I screwed something up.
Attack 1 Damage: 14 Slashing
Attack 2 Damage: 12 Slashing
Bonus Polearm Master Damage: 10 Bludgeoning
Ryndar Shadowsbane - Lvl 3 Eldarin Fighter | Kassar - Lvl 2 Lizardfolk Druid (Circle of Stars) | Finnegan (Finn) Taggert - Lvl 1 Human Cleric (Peace Domain) |
Verdan Schmidt - Lvl 2 Half-Elf Bard | Grithik - Lvl 5 Deep Gnome Warlock (Celestial)
All of those hit but youβre missing damage. But fun fact you kill it with just the minimum amount of damage you could do so combat over.
Post as will.
