"Well, it wouldn't hurt to walk through the cemetery, would it?" Caine says. "Maybe there's a caretaker around who's more helpful than the priest. If we don't see anyone we can head back into the village and check out that large manor on the other side of town."
"Okay, we can have a look in the cemetery," Jim relents. "I think we would have better look at the mansion though. Even if it's abandoned, we could always see if there's anything of valuable left behind."

Caine stops, hands on his hips and surveys the cemetery for a few moments. He sees that Nelyna has looked carefully at just about every tombstone and hasn't noticed anything unusual.
"So, maybe, at least, the dead stay dead here," Caine says, now rubbing the back of his neck. "Otherwise looks like a dead end."
He turns back and takes a look at the dilapidated church. His head cocks to one side like a dog trying to understand a command then he shrugs.
"Back through town to the large manor at the other end of the street then?" Caine asks the group.
If no one has anything else they want to do in the cemetery, Caine starts back through the village, passing the inn and heading towards the large building at the other end of the street.
Nelyna stares almost wistfully at the tombstones. So many dead buried here, their stories, their secrets now forgotten. She wonders about the lives they led, who they were, who they loved, how they died. It's the scholar in her, she supposes, always curious, always questioning. She almost doesn't notice that the others are preparing to leave. Gathering her cloak about her tightly, she hurries after Caine and Sleet.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Madame,"Razi say, conjuring his biggest, almost too excited smile. "So good to see another smiling face. We have only just arrived here in Barovia and are trying to get a handle on current events here in town. My name is Razi. Might I be so bold as to ask after your name?"

Caine nods with a smile and claps Jim on the back.
”Exactly. Don’t want any thing of value to just rot away in this town.”
Caine heads to the rear of the church and the cemetery, a shiver running up his spine when he sees the tombstones.
”Hello in the graveyard. Anyone about?”
Nelyna wanders through the tombstones, looking for anything unusual.

"This should be fun. Looking at the names might help in some way I suppose."

"I did say," Jim reminds everyone else. He then begins to follow everyone else to the mansion.

"Well this is a switch, ask her about Madam what's her name..."
"Madam Eva," Jim adds. "We already know that Madam Eva's encampment is on the way when we escort Tatyana to Vallaki."

While Razi sweet talks Granny, Caine takes a look at the pies. Doesn't seem like a selling-pies-on-the-street kind of place, he thinks to himself.

Jim takes a look around to make sure that no one is trying to sneak up on them from darkness of the shadows.
