"The tour guide said I was on the queen's list," Lophii replies to Og. "Guess your saddled with me now." He shrugs then turns to Darksniffer, "Are you going keep trying go peak up my skirt if I can along?"
Darksniffer gives a feline-esque hiss spits at Lophii's feet. "Water man away from home. Too easy to see. No place underground."

As the party peers into the corridor, both Yurk and Darksniffer see a tripwire about 8 inches up from the floor, just behind the pedestal. Darksniffer notices a faint pattern along the walls after that (rows 2-4) — scrapes forming a cemicircle nearly 15 feet in diameter, reaching nearly all the way up to the 8-foot high ceilings. The room is dimly lit by red crystals set in the walls.
(Edit: The scrapes are on Rows 2-4, not 2-3)

"Oh, and don't worry about your weird dog," Wess tells Og. "He can go with you. People bring all sorts of weird dogs to see the queen! That's half the audiences she grants!"
"Hey now! I'm trying to be nice here," He steps back away from the incoming spittle. "Your tortle friend here says we may be here under similar circumstances. I''ve deserted from Gorog's army as well,"he says following them through the door.
Darksniffer takes out his rope and ties it to a crowbadd from his burglar's pack. He throws it across the room, trying to hook it on the tripwire.

(Woops, sorry for the delay there. Been crazy busy the last couple days.)
Darksniffer reels in the crowbar, hooking the tripwire to set it off from a distance.

As Darksniffer pulls the tripwire, there's a loud thump and four puffs of dust from the section of floor by the wall scrapes — four thick iron bars, one in each corner of that 15-by-15 section of floor and each a foot long shoot out of the wall along the floor, as if to bar the floor down.
Darksniffer will cautiously reel in his crowbar-rope and move across the room. While passing the pedestal, he places the crowbar on top with the hook wrapped around the displayed prize, then proceeds to the other end. Once clear, he yanks the rope to retrieve his prize.

As soon as the bag clears the pedestal, the pedestal and the floor around it in a 5-foot radius drop into a free-fall. The stone door at the corridor's entrance slams shut, and a fraction of a second later, there's a tremendous, roaring splash. A plume of water stabs up out of the dark hole, then falls again.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Well done." Yurk nods at Darksniffer. He continues to no one in particular, "Seems almost too simple so far..." Yurk makes his way slowly down the corridor carefully watching his steps for any sign of additional traps.
Lophii had been leaning against the wall near the entrance watching Darksniffer hop about. He jumps a little when the door slams closed. He gives the goblin a slow-clap. "Good job... Is the key in the bag?" pointing at the door on the opposite end.
(Provided the bag is still in hand and Darksniffer isn't drowned, I will search the bag)

"Given that this room is labelled trap, I'd recommend no one touch that bag on the pedestal until we take a much closer look."

Darksniffer lobs the crowbar just past the tripwire. If he pulls on the rope, it will be easy to hook it on the tripwire.
