You can easily find a library, a large marble hall lit by huge lamps. You enter the cavernous space, filled with tomes and treatises, and barely know where to start.
Brundt tries looking on his own for a bit (investigation: 10 ) before approaching a llibrarian to ask about Khea.
"Oh trust me, my theiving days are done!" He almost raises a smirk but the thought of spending months if not years under the thumb of an obese aristocrat smothers the thought. He shudders before speaking up again. "Merchant guild? Never been to one of those before. Think I'll join you if that's ok? I don't know anything of this place so have to start somewhere."
"I usually welcome company..." Klopas replied with a nod. "Let's see what they have here."
Alright. You head to the merchants guild, a surprisingly small building attached to the bustling market. Inside, merchants wearing togas are yelling, crowded around a huge pig. The building is dimly lit, and smells like earthy vegetables.
"Greetings Gentlemen!" Klopas calls out jovially."What seems to be the trouble today?"
With this new tidbit of information, Brundt has a new destination. But first, he had plans to meet with Klopas. And so he began the trek back to the corner where they had parted.
On his way, he passes by some food vendors, and around the next corner he stumbles upon two familiar faces: Abrontodon and Diana. He is muttering to himself as he nearly walks right into the pair. Recognizing them, he breaks from his internal dialogue and speaks up, "Hello, we meet again. Thank you for helping me get the horse here. If you are looking for food, I saw some stalls back around that way. But if you are looking for a favor returned, I am buying drinks." He gestures in the direction he is travelling.
Goran watches in great amusement as the group squabbles over whether the sale of a pig is thing or not. He smiles inwardly. Cocking his head he whispers to Klopas "Is this normal merchant behaviour?"

"This chap here wants to sell us a pig, of all things!" One man yells, and points to a skinny young lad. "And what's wrong with that?!" Another bursts out. The room goes back into argument, and you are unsure why they're yelling about something so small as a pig.

“No…and yes.” Klopas kindly retorts quietly.
“So a… trading a pig is a problem?” Klopas inquires.
((I’m gonna go ahead and roll an insight check while I size up who is in the room/the situation…))

The calmest fellow in the room, a young man with a mustache, says, "It's complicated. Pigs are illegal here, and no one wants to be caught with one, so this person tries to sell it. Since pigs are illegal, since The Incident, their meat is highly valued. This person is willing to give us a pig for cheap, so the debate is: the law, or profit. Butchers, am I right?"
"I see..." Klopas responds almost lost in thought.
"My good fellows, I so happen to be a merchant from the capital among other places such as this." Klopas speaks up loudly. "Tell you what, I'll buy the pig, donating the meat to those who wish it. Laws are kept. Profits are gained. In return, you all establish a new trading relationship with my family's business. What say you?"
((Insight - 10 + 3 || Persuasion 17 + Proficiency *if that does anything for me))
Goran quickly catches on to what Klopas is trying to do. He steps forward, pretending to be a servant of the merchant (something he's had much practice at) and adds to the crowd of gathered businessmen. "Rest assured gentlemen, I've seen my employer broker deals of far greater value than that of a pig. And, his discretion is all but assured. No one need know of the illegal nature, if any, or any details of the deal unless you all say otherwise." He boasts loudly of Klopas' fictional wheeling and dealing hoping to help further the conversation.

Abrontodon narrowed her eyes at Brundt and then shrugged and smiled revealing a mouthful of loukoumades, and held up her sticky fingers, " I'm bine bor bood. But bink bounds bood."
She took Dianas sticky hand in her own and dragged her along after Brundt.
"Four it is..." Klopas makes the deal. "...and here are the details for the Threeguard Merchants. Please be sure to send a carrion for detailed trade options."
((Pays 4 gold. Marked it on sheet.))
Upon brokering good relations and trading information with his fellow merchants of this town, Klopas politely presses the calmest and seemingly most agreeable gentleman for more information.
"So my new friend, tell me..." he approaches."Are there any manner of artificers or those gifted in magical cypherings I might inquire of here?"
He gives a quick side wink to Goran in acknowledgement of his help and company.
With no idea what behaviour is expected in a merchant guildhall, Goran stays close to Klopas. The earlier charade was quite enjoyable to the bald headed Goran. To Klopas he whispers whilst they walk towards the humming man " What's this artificer thing?"

Abrontodon grows tight-lipped for a moment but then speaks, " A polis to the east, quite some distance.....just travelling now, seeing the world and enjoying life and all it has to offer."
Not waiting for a response from Diana, almost as if his initial innocuous query was solely a formality intended as a lead-in to his real question, he asks, "So you wouldn't have heard of a sage in these parts by the name of Khea then? A name which happened to be inscribed onto the faces of the men who attacked us on the road?"
