"Good fight,"Brundt says to Abrontodon as he grabs the unconscious harpy by the hair and starts dragging it over to the pool, clearly intent on drowning it.
Goran feels the rush of adrenaline start to ease as the battle finishes. Now this is what I've been looking for he muses internally. Picking up on Brundt's intent he rushes over hoping to catch him before he has a chance to drown the harpy.
"If your bent on dispatching this beast, I would rather not risk it waking whilst you hold its head under water. What if it were to wake and struggle? It may overpower you" he reaches for his dagger and continues "Perhaps this is a better way?"
((If Brundt agrees/allows, Goran would use his dagger to end the harpies life. He has no objection to doing so in such a ruthless manor))
Brundt pauses by the water's edge, considering Goran's proposal. Finally, with bicep and shoulder bulgin, he lifts the harpy up by its hair and holds it at an arms reach towards Goran, leaving its neck exposed. "Make it clean if you can. I've never had the opportunity to study a harpy before, and I would like to keep this specimen relatively intact for now. I find it mystifying how they are able to keep such large bodies aloft with just two wings, though I have some theories."
Abrontonon frowns and looks away, harpies are a little too much like people to her eyes.....she wonders about such things when she is in her cups oftentimes....
She leaves the others to their ' investigations' for the moment, " Tell me when your ready to move on. Though rest sooner rather than later would be good....that pool id a number on me."
((I was deliberately leaving out the post of Goran finishing off the harpy, just in case it was a bit gruesome for people. Didn't want to offend. I can post something if needed, otherwise assume he carried out his idea as planned with the help of Brundt.))
Klopas packs the findings away in his bag, and walks out of the cave. He tries gauging the depth of water as he considers jumping to save time. His arm continues to bleed, though the wound is coagulating.
He also looks down to the see the actions of his companions.
"Not sure the gain was worth the loss, but seems you all faired well enough. My apologies.." he shouts down.
Alright. You continue on, meeting only a few travellers in the next day, but a few hours after you set out the next morning, you find a scree-choked gully that runs between rugged hills, a dry streambed that offers a route through the rising rocks. A bend in the steep bluffs hides what lies ahead, but the sound of hacking coughs comes from around this corner.
((Does this mean we've had a long rest or pressed on valiantly without sleep for 2 days?))
Brundt snorts. "Peaceful? A minotaur? As far as I've seen, I'm as close to a peaceful minotaur as they come, and we all know what that looks like. Still, you want I should strike up conversation, I'll do it. Just be ready to get my back if things go horn-side."

((Sorry guys. Been on vacation with the Holidays.))
Klopas nods at the outcome of the battle. He moves into the cave, searching for anything of value.

I'm good to go. Does anyone need healing?
( Abrontonon just has a scratch so she'll be fine.)

Abrontonon advances up to the bend and peers around it.

( Assuming her Exhaustion has gone due to resting....)
Brundt, hanging back, whispers "What do you see up there?" as he scoops up three small stones in his left hand.
((@Goliath - Have we slept? This is an important question.))
Klopas, trailing behind while trying not to focus to much on the pain in his arm, calls out to Brundt ahead:
"More mythical creatures to encounter possibly...perhaps peacefully this time?"
Abrontonon moves back to the others, " One of your people Brundt. That old king they spoke of."
Brundt snorts. "Peaceful? A minotaur? As far as I've seen, I'm as close to a peaceful minotaur as they come, and we all know what that looks like. Still, you want I should strike up conversation, I'll do it. Just be ready to get my back if things go horn-side."
