The beasts fly out, and they are clearly recognizable as some sort of twisted harpy. One swoops down, attacking Brundt, while the other one attacks Klopas.
Noting the commotion from above, Brundt starts to reach for his quarterstaff on the ground beside him, but he is too late. One of the harpies is already upon him. It's first attack glances harmlessly off of his horns, but its continued scratching manages to score a nasty wound on Brundt's shoulder.
By this point, however, Brundt has managed to pick up his quarterstaff. He makes a two-handed swing at the harpy and then attempts to dislodge the beast from his head with a mighty heave of his horns.
Attack: 13 Damage: 10
(If the attack hits, Harpy makes DC 12 Strength Save or is flung ten feet toward Abrontodon)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Drenched with the peculiar water, Goran watches as one of the harpies lands an attack on Brundt. "What in the realm are these things?" He instinctively draws upon his magic and weaves his hands in a flurry of arcane sigils. Staring straight at the harpy that attacked Abrontodon he shouts "Goodnight birdman!"

With the two attacks, Harpy 1 is unconscious and Harpy 2 is badly wounded. #3 flies past Klopas, provoking an oppurtunity attack, and flies away, retreating. Action: Dash.
Klopas' turn.
Klopas instinctively raises his arms to block the harpy's offense. It seems to work well enough on the first clawing, but the creature uses its second to inflict a significant cut down his left arm.
"Arg!" Klopas instinctively yelps at the pain with an unimpressed frown and glance to follow.
He can feel the blood seeping into his clothing.
Surprised by the sudden fight thrust around him, he takes note of the third creature attempting to escape.
He quickly reacts with a chop toward the creatures kidney. (Attack 7 | Damage 2)
[(Sometimes I feel like I'm missing things...I see all kinds of pluses and extras on my character sheet... I'll have to read up and ponder more on all that.
**Later example... I have a +3 to hit, but the page also says proficiency bonus is +2, so in that case...maybe it should've been a +5 on the roll..)]

((Nice, I believe now two of the mobs go next?))
Sorry, I can't see what the attack/damage rolls were
((Sorry, new to playing - but have watched others play on YouTube - My armor class is 12, so does that mean the first misses and next hits?))
((Sure does.))

Abrontonon sat bolt upright, " What?"
She struggled lethargically to her feet...
