Misprize Thou Not These Shadows That Belong: Lost Mines of Phandelver

“Well, that was fun.” Margret says sarcastically.  “I thought you were gonna jump off the edge Rab.”

"Blasted flying creatures! Cowards! " Says Krull disappointed "Since the woke us up at least they had to put a decent fight"

Rabbit looks at Margret a bit oddly as she calls her 'Rab'.  "Don't know," she says in a confused tone. "Not sure what happened. You don't suppose there's more do you?" She glances off towards where the surviving harpy had flown.

“Yep.  It may go and get their friends.”  

“we should rest up and leave quickly”

margret ponders

“I wonder if wax in our ears would help us resist their song?”

"We probably should finish up our rest then get moving," Rabbit says. "I think Krull was keeping watch."  She nods a bit at Margret's suggestion. "I guess if you don't hear the song you're safe?"  She doesn't really know but it sounds likely. 

"Hey! Where did Droop get to? Is he okay?"

He's hiding in the back of the cave with the horses.

" Sorry Rabbit I was..distracted.."  Krull apologises for losing his focus 

"Right, I'm gonna get a bit more shut eye. Then, lets get out of here."

Margret cleans herself up and settles back down.

"Ah good! Droop is still here. Yes, let's get some rest!" Rabbit says.  She then returns to where she had been lying before and tries to resume her sleep.

"And I'm sure it's not your fault Krull. Though it is odd that those creatures got a jump on us. Guess K.O. isn't prefect."

K.O to Krull "I can only sense, so far"

"You are doing your best K.O!Cheer up!it was me who was careless" says Krull as he lies down ready to sleep leaving his thoughts about his brother for another day

"Uh, wasn't it your watch Krull?" Rabbit says. "Or did we spend all that time fighting those creatures?  Who is left for the night? Calithor?"  

(( Not sure whose watch it was ))

Calithor stares out into the darkness as the sounds of flapping recedes. "No appetite for death, I suppose."

He shrugs and glances around the cave itself. "Glad we found this place; outside it might have gone differently." Finally, his gaze settles on each of his companions. "Anyone need a little healing, or will a rest see to it?"

"I'm good just to get some rest. Which I am going to do!" Rabbit says.  She drops herself at her sleeping spot and tries to get back to sleep to be ready for morning. 

"Yeah rab was my turn and now is calls.Lets rest" and he drifts into sleep 

The rest of night, goes, uneventful.

Margret rises early, eager for their travel. She helps prepare breakfast and makes sure her weapons and armor are in excellent condition.

"Good morning."

"Good morning," Rabbit says, quickly stirring from her resting place and putting all her belongings together. She goes over to see to the horses first, helping make sure they're tended to while others help with breakfast. "I'll be glad to move on from here. I hope we won't run into more of those flying creatures." 

Krull wakes up holding K.O like a Teddy bear .Rubbing his eyes goes where margret is and offers his help "Morning everyone!Hey margret may I join you?There is nothing like a good breakfast "

“Of course, it’s pancake day!”

She smiles trying to be creative with the limited morning rations and ingredients.
