In goblin, so that Droop will consider her words seriously.
"Droop, my friend. We lost a horse. I am also sad at the loss of the horse. This was not your fault. But now, you can do something that can make our group much more powerful as it grows, and you train it. Like my owl, Marco, it could save us one day.
This little creature can grow to be a protector powerful protector with your help. But, we need to feed it. You need to feed it. If you do not feed it the meat of the dead horse, I think it will die. We will lose out on a rare opportunity to have a valuable ally someday, that could not only help you, but could help all of us. Make our loss, a gain.
Krull thinks it might be like K.O ..He turns to Droop "If you hear it's call then answer..It could be the abyss trying to reach out or some of the spirits like K.O..Think with your instinct..not head"
There was that word again. The 'f' word. Not the fun one or the silly one or the one the bugbears used to say to voice their displeasure. But the ~weird~ one that left him scratching behind his ear of late and unable to look at the speaker(in this case Margret) in the face with little more than furtive glances sometimes. But having gotten over the initial high of his discovery (mostly), Droop scarcely had any others distractions to keep him from listening and looking increasingly uncomfortable with the topic.
But eventually, he does answer in goblin while throwing the occasional glance in whichever direction the chick happened to be at that point.
"I don't understand why you think I can tend to it better than I did small horse. You have bird friend, and its part bird, so... so you would better take care, no? If I try, not sure if I... n-not just eat it instead when it gets too loud." He glances over to the chick, and for a moment his stomach starts to rumble. "Like now... And horse meat go bad eventually, and not easy to get more, yes? So, it die soon anyways, yes? Only waste meat... B-but, if you still want me to, uh-uhmm.... take care for now, then... I try best?"
In the end, he shrugs, before then having his attention captured by Krull. "Droop not sure if his stink is wise to listen to, but Droop try hard to hear it out too." He assured in a somewhat uncertain tone.

“Margret retrieves some flesh from the dead horse and gives it to Droop. She also will try to feed the chick and see if she can act as another “parent.”
Rabbit listens, though doesn't understand, as Marget and Droop talk. His response to Krull puzzles her for a moment, trying to imagine what the goblin might think Krull meant. She wasn't so sure she agreed with his advice. Meanwhile, she still waited to see whether the chest had been opened.
When handed the piece of meat, Droop whimpers a bit as he stares at it. But after a few moments and while Marget is distracted trying to feed the chick, Droop eventually sighs before stuffing the chunk into his mouth to start chewing on it vigorously in the background for a time, softening it up for the chick. But if Margret is able to feed it her piece without any issues, he still begrudgingly spits his out eventually and tries to follow her example.

You feed the infant griffon, and it looks satisfied.
Gundren watching all this, shakes his head and says "Why don't you, heal the parents? After we take ye horses and my donkey into the cave, let them take care of it, we've got business to take care of."
"Not a bad idea, unless Droop or perhaps myself want to raise the creature. But, now that we've been in contact with it, I believe the parents will reject it." Margret says, thinking about their options. "That being said, it is time for us to find what happened to your brothers."
"Keep the small one .when it grows will be strong and help us with our battles .but yeah we have more pressing matters now"Krull comments worrying that the brothers probably will be dead by now..'Hope can be poison' thinks and makes a grimace but keeps the thoughts for himself
The chest is opened easily, inside you find 500gp and a book titled "Ritual casting, for Dummies" being that, Rabbit is the first to touch, she receives a shock, syncing with the book, inside the pages already written, is the find familiar spell, Floating Disk and Detect Magic,
Margret smiles at Rabbit. "Right then, nice hall. Droop, will you take the little guy or should I?" "I think we are ready to head into the mine once we secure the horses."
Rabbit looks curiously at the book for just a moment, then tucks it away in her pack. The coins she hangs onto putting them into her pouch to be divided up when they have a moment. "Alright then. You two have the hatchling taken care of? We're keep it with us?" She sounds a little skeptical but is not objecting. "Gundren makes a good point. We spared the parents. What do we do with them?" She looks around at everyone else. "Whatever we decide, we do need to get the animals inside to somewhere secure. So, let's take care of that first." She walks over towards the entrance to the mines. "Let's find a spot for them."
"We ll keep them alive.. heal them but we keep the small one.. Margret has a point..they won't feel the chic as one of their own..We ll have to take the horses inside but how do we know there isn't something worse there?"
The infant griffon looks up and starts a, very loud screeching, again, begging its, momma for food, which, could alert, well, anything, with ears.
The more practical Gundren, cuts off part of the dead donkey's hunch and feeds it to the griffet "So, when, you wanna sneak up on something, or avoid it? When this babe's hungry, imagine that sound in a cave.." The dwarf cringes at the thought, but then laughs "It might, scare things away."
"Or draw bigger and hungrier mouths."Spoke up Droop, who despite being mostly convinced to play caregiver for the griffon, almost immediately denied having any desire to raise the griffon, and had happily motioned for Margret to take the creature when asked. "Hmm... Droop sees now. Tall legs more alike goblins than thought." He comments on somewhat out of the blue once the party makes their way inside the mines.
"Well Krull, if we leave the animals out here and heal the griffons, then they'll probably just eat them," Rabbit explains. "We've got to hope inside will be more sheltered." Reaching the entrance, she takes a look about to see what is there. (Perception: 4)
