Krull disapproving Gundren's course of action whispers back to the rest 'I agree with Margret..seems crazy to me..and if he doesn't rush then why should we...we did our job so far right?'
Margret, you just had a short rest, did the piercers hit you? No one used a (noncantrip) spell fighting them, I think.
Picking up one of the picks, Gundren stares at you in askance
The northeastern section of the cavern has collapsed, forming a ten-foot-wide, twenty-foot-deep pit. A sturdy hemp rope is tied off around a nearby stalagmite and dangles down the side of the pit, at the bottom of which is a rough-hewn tunnel heading northwest and east.
Climbing up or down the wall of the pit without a rope requires a successful DC 15 Strength (Athletics) check. Fail= 2d6 damage
"Come on folks, we should be rested," Rabbit says as she looks down into the pit. "Let's at least get a look down below before the day is done." She checks the rope to see if it is still secure. "Guess I can go down first since you guys are tired." If she's confident the rope is secure, she'll head down using it.
Margaret, hears the sounds of wind, and another boom of a wave, echoing thru the cave, she see's the pit the two tunnel entrances, and the cave that you are in, due to the angle, she is viewing from, 20ft up, something about the nature of the cave feels strange to her she is suddenly zapped and feels the shadowy echo, leave her, she feels the skills from her past, will let her, move to a new vocation, subclass, in fighter only (As per request of the player)
Note: Your token on the map on role 20, is where your character, is at, so Rabbit is still at the entrance.
The rope is secure .
I've placed invisible barriers, if you run into them stop moving and let me know (except for the Pit) .
There is no barrier at the rope, but if you want to climb down anywhere else where the barrier is, it will require, the said athletics check.
Also you had a long rest, before you came to Phandelin, if you have not used any spell slots, during the griffon fight, or been damaged, you are at full Hp and spell slots (I'm not counting the Zombie Ogre fight) And you had a Short rest after, the griffon fight,
(Ok, sure. I've moved Rabbit down using the rope. Which I'd already posted she was doing. Are you saying it doesn't count unless it gets posted in Roll20 now?)
(Also, I'm pretty sure Rabbit used 2 different spell slots fighting the zombies. Which would have been after the long rest. Unless you are going back and saying it happened before the long rest?)
Just give yourself, back, the two spell slots, rabbit. We'll say the fight, with the Ogre Zombies, happened when you first started watch so its more consistent with now.
Margret seems distant, then a bit shaky. "Sorry guys, this ability to see different time lines, and place my body in two places at once......I think it's tearing my soul apart." She touches her head, seeming to experience some pain. "It's just not compatable with my sorcery powers." She brushes some sweat from her brow. "I'm ok, and........well, this might not make sense, but, I've been....gone for what seems a year. You see, I have been training with a great sword master in the highlands of my home. At the same time, I believe, no time has passed here in this cave. Is that possible?" (OOC: Think Highlander movie:Juan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez (Sean Connery) training the highlander in sword fighting...one of the flashbacks in the movie)
She peers down then will join Rabbit on the other side of the rope.
"Eh, Droop not-..."The goblin started to say. But after glancing down into the pit, he feigns yawning and motions for Rabbit and the others to go ahead of him. Though after Rabbit gets down safetly, and seeing neither the ground give way or some other trap deployed, the goblin breathes soft sigh of relief and wipes some existent sweat from his brow.
"... Margret make no sense."Is the goblin's straight-forward response to the swordswoman. "But, tall folk usually no make sense, so..." He shrugs. "Welcome Back, I guess? But maybe you sleep more in future."Droop follows up before nodding sagely. He lingers at the top, waiting for Krull to head down before following suit using the rope. "Mmm... Two paths. One choice? Which way go?"He asks of the others once eventually at the bottom. "If Droop had guess, he'd say... 2... that way best path."He gestures towards the northwestern tunnel.
(OOC: I'm assuming the commentary from Krull was spoken under the presumption that a Short Rest hadn't been taken, so I was uncertain how best Droop might address it, if it even still needed be.)
Rabbit gives Margret an odd look too. "First you're tired, now you say you've been gone for a year?" She shrugs but thinks she might want to keep an eye on that woman. It seems she is losing it, so she resists the urge to ask any more about her greatsword training when she's clearly been carrying a longsword. "Droop, she makes no sense to me either. Why don't we take your suggestion and start to the northwest. Krull? Margret? You two want to lead the way?" She is ready to follow behind.
Krull shrugs "Magic always messes with your head..I ll lead on .Maybe she has to rest a bit eh?" And then he will descend down and go near Rabbit and Droop
Rabbit sees, some intersecting passages. The ceilings here are only six feet high, and several of the passages end in partially excavated rock faces.
Margaret looks to the southeast some tunnels intersect at this natural, thirty-foot-high cavern. The walls are carved with simple reliefs showing dwarf and gnome miners hard at work. Below them, nearly two dozen skeletons in rusted scraps of armor are scattered across the cavern floor. Some are dwarf skeletons, while others are orc remains. Half a dozen large brass lanterns stand in niches or on ledges around the cavern, but none are lit.
Rabbit mumbles, "Umm, Margret. I think we decided to go to the northwest." She's wondering how she's going to lead with her off at the other end of the pit. But then she hesitates. "Or do you see something that way?" She definitely waits until one of the hardier members of the group actually heads forward.
"A battle then..make sense..orcs and dwarves were always locked in battle from what at least I heard..Now those lanterns might come in handy..the oil in them I mean .we could lit on fire that damn Spider " between those two options he ll express his support to Rabbit as he thinks Margret unfit to take any decisions based on logic at the moment" Rabbit northwest sounds good to me..I can be your guard but is best you lead us through those caverns"
"Best I lead us?" Rabbit asks. "Ok, soon as you get up here we'll move ahead. We can start with taking a right at the first intersection. Maybe it will loop back around to that other passage. Then we can move out from there." She again gives Krull a glance. "Not sure why you want me to lead the way though. Not like I can clobber any enemies or have much armor." But she will lead to get things going.
The sound reminds Rabbit, of the crash of waves, on the shore of the sword coast, heard at times when the group traveled from Neverwinter, amplified.

The group gets an Idea, that if the two women are attacked now, they would have to climb down 20ft, just to help them.
