Turning around, you spy Glasstaff glaring at you. His face seems to change and contort and you’re unsure of which is his real face - the one you saw earlier or any of these blurry versions.
Yiu all make it out safely to about 100 feet or so before you see the body. The Redbrand who left seems to have met a grisly end, his body lifeless on top of a bloody red pool.
I was going on this so I would of cast it right after I saw him as we were retreating. The spell has a 90ft range and a 20ft circle effect.

Margret, a tearing screech enters your mind, like the sound of a knife grating on stone - it's quite unpleasant....

She thinks realizing the conundrum she's gotten herself into "Who and what the F are you?"
The laughter re-enters,

You get the sense the words are coming from the strange creature you can just see in the crevasse.
R3 - you hear boot scrapes to your left and if you had to guess, in another 10 seconds or so, you'll likely see the owners of those boots. You also hear a deafening roar of some creature coming from the left tunnel.
R2 - you see a Redbrand push his way past Glasstaff and make his way towards you. He's about 15 feet in front of Glasstaff.
Margret - you work your spell and watch as the Redbrand behind Glasstaff sways and drops to the ground. Glasstaff looks down and looks up at you smiling - he nods at you. Do you want to do anything else after your spell?
"If we are done poking the beehive I suggest we get moving. There is a boy whose life is in danger.... Well he's probably already dead but we should find out. Come let's go."Edryd is done waiting he will make his way Butt's home without stopping any further.

Margret frowns she calmly says considering the panic "I'm sorry for your loss. But, we're going to have too keep a close eye on this manor if, we're going to counter anything they try. Maybe we should take residence in the Sleeping Giant after you guys heal."
