Ooc//this is exactly how a fight should go. With enemy attacks bouncing off of armor. :)

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?
quote from Romantically Apocalyptic byVitaly S Alexius
The last of the skeletons falls to the floor. The adrenaline rushing through your body has masked the stench in the room until now.The farthest corner still sits in the dark. Webs glisten in what light is given off by Pru's orbs. There looks what looks like is a doorway on the far wall. However your far enough away, that you can't tell without getting closer.
OOC: Everyone adjust your EXP to 1065. This should put you to lvl 3. Please update your sheets.

(Pru's is updated - yeah level 3)
Pru wrinkles her nose and places a hand over her lower face to try and block out the smell. She then pushes the dancing lights across the room, leaving pockets of shadows that she does her best to slip into in order to approach the possible doorway unseen.
Stealth: 8
As she attempts to move through the shadows, she does her best to see what's causing the terrible smell.

As you get closer to the door, the smell is getting a bit stronger.
Beryl moves in slowly, peering into the dark. She frowns at the horrid smell, getting worse as they move further into this room. She eyes the webs with suspicion. Another giant spider?

As you peak in to doorway, the stench of decay and death fills your nostrils. You catch a glimpse of another door across the way and what looks like boxes on either side. Pru's bouncy lights fade and spark, as if their magical life force is dying out.
Aranor grips the hilt of his sword as he also moves further into the room, his nose wrinkling at the horrid smell. His eyes scan the darkened corner. Is there something there? He strains to see or hear anything.
The room looks like a makeshift burial chamber. Three coffins sit silent on either side of the door. A bandit body lay draped over the nearest one. The large iron door is closed tight. There are two levers on either side of the door. The stench is starting to make you queasy in the stomach and what little but you ate earlier wants to make its way back up.

Pru pulls a cloth handkerchief from her pack and ties it over her mouth and nose.
"This the smell of death, isn't it?" Pru ventures. "Necromancer stuff."
She edges closer to the coffins and dead bandit, nudging the body with the point of her rapier. If the body doesn't move, she quickly checks over the coffins for traps or signs they've recently been opened.
"Yeah. Necromancer stuff. Let's double check its dead"

"Well, I could always behead another bandit," Aranor offers, trying to sound lighthearted, but the smell and the thought of necromancy is making him very queasy.
Beryl's flame provides enough light that the three coffins on either side of the door are well lit. They're not fancy boxes, nor basic pine boxes. There are no markings on the boxes other than hammer marks from the nails that attach the iron bands. From the looks of it as the light flickers off the walls, the narrow hallway extends in both directions. There seems to be more coffins. A total of 6 on each side of the door.
Aranor pulls the dead body off the coffin and positions it. Swinging in a wide arch, the head slides off and rolls across the floor towards Pru. Pulling the body toward the far end of the hall, Aranor motions for Beryl to light it.
Pru is startled by the rolling head, as she checks the coffins. The two to the left of the door and the one to the right of the door seem newer than the others. There seems to be very little traces of dust of webs. The stench seemed to be emanating from the coffins to the left of the door as well as the bandits carnaged and beheaded body.
"I don't throw heads at you so I would appreciate it if you didn't throw heads at me," Pru says seriously but then she shrugs and sighs. "Give me some warning next time, Ari."
Pru then moves to the coffin that looks newer that is to the right of the doorway.
"So maybe fresh dead in those ones," Pru says pointing at the coffins to the left of the doorway. "And those two and this one look newer than the others."
She reaches out and knocks on the top of the newer coffin on the right.
"if it helps, fighting necromancers never gets easier, thats a lie. the killing, yes, the being ambushed by moving dead, no"

Pru frowns as the dancing lights lose some of their luster.
"That's unexpected," Pru says. "Anyone have a torch?"
She tries slinking deeper into the shadows and moving quietly to enter the foul smelling room.

Beryl says, "I suppose we should behead the corpse, to make sure it can't come back."
She fumbles around in her pack. "I have a torch, if you want me to light it. Some fire might help clear the stench anyway."
She looks around - if there are any brackets for torches, she sticks a torch in a handy one and lights it with Produce Flame.
Aranor nods. "It's probably prudent just in case," he agrees.
He sets about the grisly work of relieving the corpse of its head and then signals for Beryl to light the bodies.

Beryl burns the corpse with produce flame. "That should ensure this one remains in a quiet death."
She walks over to look at the coffins on the left. Maybe more bodies in the coffins?
Pru frowns at the head and then back at Aranor.
