All - Any who would inspect the mirror can make a DC 15 Perception check. The following will be revealed to anyone who succeeds:
There is a latch along the top edge of the mirror. When it is released, the mirror pushes open easily to reveal a cobweb-filled wooden staircase leading up to the attic.
Hofaen approaches the unconscious form of Summer “time to wake, we will need your eyes” casting healing word for 5 of healing
Once Summer’s eyes open he begins to look around the room with Ankita for things to bar the door. He glances at the mirror on the wall (perception: 10).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zindarik mutters a sigh of relief when the broom at last clatters lifeless to the floor. Joining the others in the bedroom, he then studies the full-length mirror. (Perception: 12)
Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, Zindarik suggests moving the wardrobe to block the door if indeed the group wishes to hold up in the room and recover for a while.
All - I assume Baldwin and Summer will help with the investigation of the mirror, so two of you can re-roll your checks.
Zindarik - With your 12, you notice eyeballs carved into the wood of the frame among the ivy and berries. There is also the heavy bed to use as a barricade as well.
Ankita realizes the wardrobe is not fixed and can be moved to block the door and it’s about to say so and notices others investigating the mirror and joins in..
Ankita - There is a latch along the top edge of the mirror. When it is released, the mirror pushes open easily to reveal a cobweb-filled wooden staircase leading up to the attic.
Ankita shows her companions what she found “Well, found a way to the attic. But since we’re trying to rest, let’s wait on this. And maybe finish searching this floor before moving up?” She closes the mirror back up, making sure that it latches. “Anyone want to help me move the wardrobe to block the door?”
Hofaen rises from his rest feeling rejuvenated. “I agree with Ankita. Let’s investigate the rest of this floor to make sure we have no enemies at our back before going in to the attic”. He starts by looking in the nursery.
Hofaen & Zindarik - The nursery contains a crib covered with a hanging black shroud. When you move aside the shroud you find that the crib is empty. There is nothing else of note in the room.
Finding nothing of note, Hofaen moves to the closet which once contained the dread broom to ensure nothing was overlooked in the chaos created when he opened the door.
Ankita - The suit of armor is the one that came alive and attacked Hofaen. It is scattered across the floor and appears to be merely ornamental, offering no real protection. This dark room contains a wooden tub with clawed feet, a small iron stove with a kettle resting atop it, and a barrel under a spigot in the east wall. A cistern on the roof used to collect rainwater, which was borne down a pipe to the spigot; however, the plumbing no longer works.
Baldwin - The double doors to this room have dusty panes of stained glass set into them. Designs in the glass resemble windmills. The dusty, cobweb-filled master bedroom has burgundy drapes covering the windows. Furnishings include a four-poster bed with embroidered curtains and tattered gossamer veils, a matching pair of empty wardrobes, a vanity with a wood-framed mirror and jewelry box, and a padded chair. A rotting tiger-skin rug lies on the floor in front of the fireplace, which has a dust-covered portrait of the Dursts hanging above it. A web-filled parlor in the southwest corner contains a table and two chairs. Resting on the dusty tablecloth is an empty porcelain bowl and a matching jug. A door facing the foot of the bed has a full-length mirror mounted on it. The door opens to reveal an empty, dust-choked closet. A door in the parlor leads to an outside balcony. A dumbwaiter in the corner of the west wall has a button on the wall next to it. Pressing the button rings the tiny bell in the servant's room below.

All - You're able to bar the door and take a long rest without interruption. You are all level two now. What would you like to do?
