“Wait, footprints outside of the city? A dozen?” Sorjen asked visibly confused. As far as he knew the only indication of goblin presence were the two orgs. He feared more laying in ambush before fighting the beasts because he was trained to prepare for the worse situation in combat as much as possible, but the idea that there were actually more raiders changed everything. “Bloody Hells, I wouldn’t have attacked if someone had told me any of that.”
While the others discussed what to do next the ranger recalled what he had seen from atop the guard tower. There was no one on the streets, but the tracks indicated a dozen goblins. The two they just fought were inside the temple. No one outside, two inside.
“They are hiding in the buildings.” He looked at each and every one of his companions as they left the temple. “The goblins. When I looked from the tower, I saw no one on the streets. They are either pillaging or celebrating victory inside of the houses.” It was the only logical conclusion. Either that or the goblinoid had already left and they found were remains of the assault team. “I think we should repeat the approach we took here, deciding before hand when we will knock out and when we will kill. By the way, is there any other piece of information that I should be aware of, right?”

Would Sorjen be able to get a scimitar and a shield from the goblin corpses? Also, if we’re tracking ammo, he would take arrows.

As they look at the damage to the Inn, they hear the commotion coming from the kitchen. Kramyra looks at her companions, puts her paw to her mouth to try and imitate what she sees others do to state being quiet and hugs the wall. She tries to stealthily creep towards the kitchen to see what is going on in there.
Kan begins to pull out a rope and loops it around an arms few times then gestures to Khessa with a shooing motion to go get whatever’s making the racket.
Khessa pats Sorjen on the shoulder: "Sorry shadow scout, I did not realize that you were already gone as Jor looked at the tracks. Tracks of two worgs and a dozen goblins incoming and of many people outcoming. I do not think you have missed anything other. The killed goblin puzzles me. Who shot him? Maybe we will find a guard alive here inside? By the way, as far as killing or questioning is concerned... I'd save questioning only for the last goblins. The others, I'd say to kill them outright, just to be more sure no one escapes and rises alarm. Oh, and you see?" pointing at the sneaking Tabaxi and smiling "It looks like you've found a competitor"
Then she does like last time in the church: she positions herself near the kitchen door, with her two-handed sword raised, ready to help Kramyra in case of troubles.
"We should be wary; whatever being felled this goblin most likely is in the room beyond. Whether they art one of the villagers or not is unclear - we ought not to slay one on accident." Ev'alish says quietly as they enter the tavern.

“It is fine, golden locks, as long as you don’t say that I’m being a good influence. You know, that wouldn’t fit too well with the name ‘shadow stalker’ and I’m planning on use as a brand in my adventuring career. Image is important and what not.” He answered to Khessa, in the most relaxed tone he could. It was no one fault’s that he did lost the information on the tracks and getting stuck on it would do good to no one. Instead, he kept his eyes on the tabaxi. As moved stealthily he could imagine Moira shouting, asking if the wizard called that stealth, in a very abrasive manner. Suddenly the goblins looked almost cute.“I will be ready to shoot any point. This time I will follow.”
Sorjen said taking out his bow and readying an arrow. Definitely not cute. He said with the voice of his mind as he saw the goblin at the end of his range. He drew the string, but kept the arrow, waiting to see if any of their companions would strike first. After the first attack he would make his own attempt.
I will take just a shield, then. Sorjen ready an attack action (longbow attack), the trigger being one of his companions starting battle.

Khessa winks at Sorjen: "As you wish... but with such a threatening name, who will take you in party, especially if rumors start spreading about you being BAD influence?" then, as she hears Kramyra intone arcane words and sees Ev'alish run through the door, the blonde fury in chainmail rushes to help against the goblin: if the monster is still up, she swings her two-handed sword: attack: 15 damage: 14
(Note: Khessa, unlike Ev’alish, is NOT pulling her punches: she proposed to kill the next goblins and capture or question only the last ones... so, if she gets to attack, she attacks to kill - on the other hand, if Ev’alish succesfully knocks the goblin out, she will not pointlessly slay the prisoner, she will let him live and see what the dragonborn wants to do to him)
By the way, no matter whether the fight ends with the goblin dead or alive, Khessa looks then around to see if she can spot a crossbow that could have fired the bolt that killed the goblin in the previous room.
“Well, our little band of brothers here certainly is efficient.” And Kramyra goes over to the goblin, grabs a nearby knife (it is a kitchen after all) and slices open the bottom of the sack to see if there was anything important in it. Afterwards she checks out the rest of the kitchen. “Shall we check out the rest of this building? I don’t hear anything, but it would be good to know even if there are other dead goblins about.”

Ev'alish's pike finds the goblin easily enough, and he grins. Unfortunately, it's interrupted by the other weapons hitting it and cutting it to pieces. "Ah... alas. I had presumed that should we have spareth the goblin we could have learned the place where its friends are."
He stands up, stowing his weapon again. "These goblins do fall at the mere prick of a blade. Methinks we would prevail even if we made a loud commotion and attracted the ire of the entire goblin army, but I doth imagine that is not wise. We shall keepeth at our search, then."
He helps to search the rest of the tavern, lifting some of the heavy debris in anticipation of discovering a clue.
Khessa recovers the bullseye lantern andtwo flasks of oil, just in case the exploration leads sooner or later to some dark place (she shudders for a moment at the idea - after all that she endured in the Underdark, she does not like darkness, to say the least). Khessa then nods to Ev'alish: "Maybe you were right, dragon friend. This one was alone, it could have been esay to subdue him and question him (should he have been able to understand our tongue). But let's keep searching this place, for we have still not found the killer of the first goblin. No crossbow to see, thus far... Maybe one of the village's guards found shelter upstairs." Then, bringing the hand on her chin and reflecting "Or an adventurer like us, maybe. This was the inn, after all. We too would have headed here, in a more peaceful situation" and with that she follows the silver warrior, her impressive blade still dripping goblin's blood, ready to bring it to good use again if needed.
