OOC: Another ToA pbp I was in spent a month debating the money situation. I ask, please, for my sanity, can we please please please not make this a huge thing? I quickly lose interest when there are huge bouts of RP over buying rope.
OOC: If we want I can go through and put together the supply list then you can review and then make it a large purchase instead of RP'ing it. Also can we get prices on things like insect repellent as well?
OOC: That would be wonderful, actually. That pbp fell through, and we never even bought the things we needed. I just really want to play this adventure and get into it!
Insect repellent can be purchased in Port Nyanzaru in two forms: blocks of incense or a greasy salve. The merchant prince Kwayothé controls the sale of both. Neither kind of repellent protects against giant insects or the vile swarms of insects.
A block of incense sells for 1 sp. When lit, it burns for 8 hours and repels normal insects within a 20-foot-radius centered on it.
A gourd or vial of salve, which sells for 1 gp, contains 20 applications of odorless grease. One application protects its wearer against normal insects for 24 hours. The salve is waterproof so it doesn’t wash off in rain.
OOC: The ending gold is how much we have left after purchasing everything. Should have been more clear on that. So if we buy a secondary canoe we can bring Thundrock the Giant Lizard with us in the second canoe?

OOC LOL already named it? Yes, you can bring it with you.
OOC MC, great work on the list. I can keep the inventory of the lizard on the campaign page, once you have decided what you want to keep in your personal inventory.
OOC: I went ahead and made a basic character for Thundruck so that it might be easier to track encumbrance? I added him to the campaign, I had seen others doing this on the board and it seemed smart, if you don't like we can remove.
OOC Just as note, Azaka offered to guide you for free if you help her in her quest. And there are many more guides in Port Nyanzaru ;-)

A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
Hellmuth buys some rope and hands it to Nemaia

Nemaia takes the rope and, for a moment, considers strangling Hellmuth with it. Then she places it in her pack. Hey, free rope.

OOC: First draft, not sure on the cost of the Canoe but here's what I picked out from the guide...
A single canoe costs 50 and is for 6 Medium creatures.
OOC: We will have a large beast of burden with us, what would we need then? Maybe a raft?
OOC: I'm confused on the math here. If the lizard is 100 and the climbers gear is 100, how is the total only 150 with everything else?

OOC: I'm okay with all this. Just let me know what to add to my inventory, and how much money I have left.

OOC Oh no we can keep it, it is a clever solution.
