You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track Fey, Fiends, and Undead, as well as on Intelligence checks to recall information about them. If you are actively tracking one of these creature types, you cannot be surprised by any creatures of that type. You can only be tracking one type of creature at a time.

The hags are twisted and evil fey creature. They resemble old, decrepit crones who dwell in dark forests, swamps and remotes hills. They hate everything that is good and always try to bring that good toward the evilness. They like to make bargains, which they manipulate with mastery to obtain what they want. They are both physically strong and skilled in magic.
Hags are usually a solitary creature, but it may happen that hags (only in multiples of three) may form a coven to share knowledge, power and lair.
OOC You also know everything that is contained in Volo's Guide about the hags.
Nemaia stands at the ready, but doesn't move. "I don't like this. It might be a trap. I think it's trying to lure us somewhere. Why else would it grab our attention but not attack? We should not follow. I suggest we set a trap of our own."
