The half-orc looks up and notices the others around. His scowl disappears and his face splits into a cheesy but apologetic grin. He works at tugging his axe free with one hand while waving vigorously with the other.
"HEYA! I didn't see you there! Sorry, I can go find another snake if you've already claimed this one."
Inspite of the situation, Halei's face briefly breaks into an amused smiles and laughs at the newcomers antics before remembering again their situation. She is still reluctant in combat, and would prefer some sort of bow to help from afar, but she will defend herself if she needs to. She runs to get close to the others. Apprehensively, and a little awkwardly, she points her sword out infront at the snake closest to her. "You stupid snake! We didn't do anything to you, leave us be! You know, some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go! Your family tree is probably a cactus, because everybody on it is a prick!" Halei casts Vicious Mockery.
Halei laughs at the half-orc when he speaks. "Hah! Hello there! You are welcome to the snake, friend."

Resmae admonishes Sammy, "No! We don't run away from the fight, we run towards it! Though, great bite ol boy!! Let's do it again!"She pushes for him to head towards the snake, but in the next second she rears him back as the huge half-orc comes bursting out of the brush, "Ahh!! Who are you?!"
It takes her a second to refocus and she brings the bells again toll the dead
WIS save 13 or 2 necrotic damage
Surprised himself by the addition of the large man, Sammy actually listens to Resmae and heads back to the serpent to bite it again
Halei, standing firm, her new sword held bravely in front, slings a tirade of words, a verbal assault of vicious mockery at the nearby serpent (for 1 psychic damage).
Wildred runs over toward Balliol, all the while talking powerful words. A fire builds and grows in his hands, and he stops and hurls a bolt of fire at the thrashing snake, still reeling from the previous attacks. The fire bolt splashes across the creatures already injured face (causing 6 fire damage).
The snake nearest Aros regains its senses after Halei's harsh words and lunges toward Aros. Her quick reflexes and powerful hind legs bound her out of its path just in time. Sir Talavar leans toward the beast, which is now next to his cage. He exhales a puff of pinkish gas at the snake, who momentarily looks stunned but manages to shake it off and remain unaffected. Aros takes the opportunity and, in one fluid motion, slides her shortsword from its sheath, stabbing it into the serpent's cylindrical body, inflicting a substantial laceration (6 piercing damage).
Balliol lunges forward again at the monstrous snake. But this time, it is too quick for him, and he misses the beast, finding himself in a vulnerable position with the snake's head a little too close for comfort.
Resmae calls her toll the dead gong again on the creature, and it is again startled by the reverberating standing waves shuddering its body (6 necrotic damage).
Sammy heeds Resmae's instruction, attacking the creature with a ferocity not before seen from the usually comical canine. He sinks his teeth deep into the snake's cheek (for 4 piercing damage).
The snake, awakened by the onslaught of attacks, is now fighting for its life. It opens its mouth and snaps its large fangs at Balliol's head. The force and shock inflicting considerable damage on the Herangon, who drops to the ground in a crumpled heap.
You watch in horror the mortal blow to Balliol. As you stand in shock, a large, half-orc, clad in tattered pants and tight chain mail vest, bounds toward the serpent that just downed Balliol as it is about to ingest him, the half-orc, almost as if in slow motion, hurls himself at the giant constrictor calling out "LUUUNCH!". He swings large, ploughing his battle axe into the unsuspecting snake's forehead. For the KO!!! The snake falls to the ground, and the half-orc looks around, seemingly noticing you all for the first time. He glances at your gaping looks and speaks, "HEYA! I didn't see you there! Sorry, I can go find another snake if you've already claimed this one." as he tries to pull his axe from the snakes head.
Balliol is down and out (death save time for the Herangon Monk). Is there a healer in the house? And there is still one giant snake on the attack. Post your actions.
Still tugging at his axe, the half-orc looks over at Balliol and shouts, "Oy, kid! this is not a good place to take a na- oh that's blood. That's a good amount of blood"
*Schlupp* He pulls the axe free and rushes over, sliding to his knees beside Balliol. Dropping the axe beside him, he starts vigorously rubbing his hands together. They begin to glow and shoot of small sparks of energy. Pulling them apart, he shouts "CLEAR!"
Wildred reeling from seeing his friend engulfed by the Giant snake and fall to the ground motionless tries to conjure another fireball....feeling helpless to his friend he sees no other option but to strike the last snake.
"No!! Bugs!!" Resmae hops off Sammy over to Balliol and places her little paws on the larger harengon. She mumbles a few words and the space between Balliol and Resmae glows a soft blue as she casts cure wounds sending him 6 hit points
She then turns back to Sammy and points at the other snake, "Sammy! Attack!!"
Sammy bounds over to the snake and attempts to bite this one they way he did the other.
Halei cries out in horror as Balliol crumples to the ground, her hands begin to shake at the jarring sight, but seeing her companion in peril spurs her into action. In spite of her aversion to combat and being quite squeemish, with her heart beating wildly in her chest she lunges at the closest snake, swinging her sword with all her might, screwing her eyes shut at the moment of impact. Then hastily attempts to retreat to where her friends and the newcomer are grouped up.
Watching Balliol drop to the ground limp is a sobering reminder of how deadly these giant constrictors are. You jump into action.
Halei cries out. Sword in hand, she runs over to the snake who is now interested in the tiny, pink, caged fairy dragon.
Sir Talavar pulls at his sword, desperately attempting to draw it, but it is no good. The cage is too small for him to release even his tiny weapon. Still, he tries.
Halei holds the sword and thrusts it at the serpent, stabbing deep into the snake's body (for 6 damage), withdrawing the blade and hurling herself over the beast to join Wildred just as he releases a fire bolt that skims past, clips the snake's body (for 1 damage) before exploding in the nearby brambles and knocking Aros back a few feet.
The snake sights Aros lose her balance and takes the opportunity to snap. With a lightning strike, it bites into her right hip (causing 8 damage). She screams a muffled scream that even her mouthless face can't hide, falling back onto the ground. She thrashes her sword back at the beast slicing a substantial gash across its face (for 5 damage). Aros falls back onto the ground, clutching at her injury.
"No!! Bugs!!" Resmae bounds from Sammy's back, crouching before Balliol's lifeless body. She lays her hands on him and mumbles a few words as the space between Balliol and Resmae's hands glows a soft blue as she casts her healing magic upon him. Resmea looks on, astonished as she not only watches Balliol breathe in new life and regains consciousness, but he appears to age into a teenage herangon before her very eyes.
Balliol, You wake with Resmae kneeling over you. You are now a teenage herengon. (Your strength has increased by 1, dexterity and constitution are restored to their original score, and charisma decreased by 1). You are feeling worse for wear with a mighty headache, but you are not dead!
Chapley rushes to Balliol, sliding on his knees, ready to lay his hands and provide healing for him, but Balliol regains consciousness before he has the chance. Chapley watches on confused as Balliol ages before his eyes.
Sammy, rushes to defend Aros. He growls and snarls attempting to chomp the big beast, but the snake dodges the incoming bite as it thrashes about in pain and readies to defend its life. Still a danger to you all.
And in that light was the face of a little rabbit - Resmae. Childlike and worried.
A childlike Resmae who the screamed, "Sammy! Attack!"
That sort of took the mysticism out of the moment and reminded Balliol of exactly how he had ended up prone on the ground and in need of rescuing. He got to his feet as quickly as he could, in the mean time saying to both his Harengon companion and the newcomer who seemed to have come to his aid as well, "Thanks, Doc. That hurt." Looking around he saw one snake still fighting and Aros bloodied. "One more to go. No rest for the weary . . "
And with that he jumped at the remaining snake intending to do it significant damage. As he did so he noticed his newly slightly older but still not as old as it should be body. Strange, he thought, what brought that on? But whatever the cause it was still his body and he still remembered how to use it. Just like he remembered how to use a sword.
Wildred with one last ditch effort grabs for his trusty hand crossbow whenever his magic had failed him he could always trust his little crossbow to finish the job...loading a small bolt into the mechanism, with one eye closed and tounge between his lips he takes aim at the remaining snakes eyes....

Halei is immensely relieved that her friend is okay (for the moment). She watches the others charge at the remaining snake and makes haste to follow them, a little more confidently this time, and swings at the snake with her sword once again.

As Balliol gets to his feet, a look of relief floods Resmaes features, but is quickly replaced with confusion as she sees he has aged years in a matter of seconds. Due to her confusion, she decides to pull out her crossbow and fire it at the snake as well, yelling, "Keep after it Sammy! Don't let him bite you!"
You pile onto your remaining foe. It doesn't stand a chance. You know it, it knows it. But, it is outnumbered, and your weapons are too much for the snake. The final blows seal its fate as it fights to the end. Now you have plenty of giant constrictors to go around.
Aros is in a bad way. She has a substantial wound to her right hip and is on the ground clasping it in pain.
Chapley, you survey the scene. Two giant dead snakes. A tall, teenage herangon who, when you went to aid in his resurrection, grew in age before your very eyes. A small, well armoured, herangon child, crossbow by her side, confusion on her face, catching her breath after the fight. A ferocious-looking canine sniffing around the giant snake's corpse. A young half-elf dressed in the colourful cloaks of a mage. An elven child admiring the sword in her hands like a new toy. A tiny pink fairy dragon in a golden birdcage. A wounded faun, grimacing on the ground with nothing where her mouth should be. And a dead bullywug, lying face down near a smashed-up balloon basket that appears to have fallen from a tall leaning tower nearby. Your stomach grumbles.
As for the rest of our adventurers, you look back at the large, muscly half-orc as he stands perusing all of you. His battle axe rests on the ground, and his open mouth reveals his befuddlement.
"Uh-hum!" pipes up Sir Talavar "any chance you might set me free, please."
Chapley wipes a bit of sweat and snake gore from his brow as he looks around with his other hand on his hip. He mouths something wordlessly to himself as if silently trying to talk himself through the bizarre situation. When Sir Talavar speaks, Chapley holds up a hand to shush him and says, "Sorry, could you just be quiet for a second? You too,"he says to Aros. "I'm trying to think, and the bleeding and the writhing is very distracting. Oh, wait... bleeding. That should probably be the priority."
He hurries over and kneels beside Aros, rubbing his hands together again to bring out that distinct magical glow. He holds his hands out towards her hip and pauses, saying, "With your leave, I can heal that wound up a bit for you." He then waits awkwardly for consent. While he kneels there, he turns to the others and says, "Okay, so...Hi there everyone. I don't really know what's going on, so I'll just go ahead and introduce myself, and then maybe rather than me try to figure things out on my own, you all can help me make a bit of sense of what's happening here. You can call me Chapley. Now to be clear,"he adds hastily, "That is NOT me giving you my name. I am just telling you my name"
Wildred eyes the orc suspiciously...while he puts his cross bow away...."Dokh lura!" He says in orcish...he had always been a little mistrusting of the orcish persuasion he had his reasons..but he couldn't deny he had been a huge help...but he couldn't help but wonder what he was doing here and in his experience orcs always had an alterior motive.
"My Name is Wildred...Nice to meet you......Chapley was it?forgive me not wanting to sound to forward but what exactly brings you to the frey?.....and where did you even come from anyway?".....wildred forgetting for a moment he was a 4 ft child with the mind of an adult scholar..as he heard the voice of his very younger self blurt out the words.
Resmae looks up at the odd half-orc and smiles. Covering a chuckle with her paw, "Please, heal my friend Aros, she's had a rough day and can't physically give consent." She hops closer to the man, "Where'd you come from? And if you want the snakes, they're all yours."
"Well Chapley, nice to meet you and your timing couldn't have been better! I'm Resmae and yes, just telling you my name as well" she chuckles again, "And we just arrived and thought we'd try and help this poor chap out" pointing to the fairy dragon.
Chapley looks from Resmae to Aros, shrugs, and presses his hands to the wound, allowing healing energy to stitch it closed.

He stands up and brushes off his tattered pants. "Oh well. Enough about me. What brings a group of kids and rabbits out to these dangerous parts?"
