[Ok. Here we go.]
Droknin pulls open the secret door to reveal the room beyond. It is 40' x 30' with a large cistern full of water on the wall nearest you. The far side of the room rises with stairs to a landing, which leads to a passageway with more stairs headed further up. Those who were with the party early this morning might recognize this room from Mud's description. Those stairs lead up to the ruins of Tressandar Manor.
The room contains 8 Redbrand fighters, seemingly waiting to ambush any attacking force coming down the main stairs to the west. They have erected a simple 4' wood and trash barricade in the center of the room. Two crossbowmen wait on this side of the barricade. Another two fighters, armed with shortswords, wait on the stairs to either side of the main stairway down. Four more fighters lounge closer two you, seated on barrels to either side of the cistern. Some were engaged in idle conversation, while the more disciplined men were focused on the stairway leading up. None were expecting intruders from your direction, and all are surprised when Droknin swings open the secret door.
[You will have one round where Redbrands are surprised and can take no actions or reactions.]

Garrin moves in with a warbling battle cry, firing an eldritch blast of power from a waving staff at one of the archers as he moves in to the center of the room

Keashirryl almost reaches for her melee weapon, but her hand changes direction halfway, drawing the light crossbow from her back, loading it with a clumsy, uncertain motion, and firing at the archer already under attack thanks to Garrin.
Attack: 22 Damage: 7
After releasing the arrow, she turns her back towards the wall next to the cistern so that noone can surprise her from behind.
Cassius will quickly move into the room and slam his staff into the nearest of the Redbrands following it with a quick palm strike to the same one.
Attack: 22 Damage: 6
Then with his bonus action he will use Patient Defense to use the Dodge Action.
Just realized that it was a surprise round so I would be wasting a ki point to use Patient Defense. So instead I'll use the bonus action to use my unarmed strike.

[Botting Droknin's surprise round to keep the action moving.]
The mostly fearless Leonin strides into the room past the shocked fighters and unleashes his doublebladed scimitar first on the wounded crossbowman. Attack: 24 Damage: 8 And again with the follow through. Attack: 25 Damage: 5

Cassius' savage blow brings down the fighter on the south wall, and Garrin's spell is enough to fell the wounded crossbowman. Both T'laren and Keashirryl's ranged missiles go wide of their targets.
The surviving crossbowman disengages from Droknin and retreats down the north wall toward the other side of the cistern.
The remaining Redbrand on the south wall stabs at Garrin with his short sword and then retreat back toward the center of the map, adjacent to Droknin.
Attack: 10 Damage: 4
Attack: 21 Damage: 7
The two Redbrands on the north wall hop of their barrels, draw their short swords and give a battlecry. They both rush Droknin [DM will assume Droknin used a bonus action last round to activate his rage].
First attacker:
Attack: 7 Damage: 8
Attack: 24 Damage: 9
Second attacker:
Attack: 10 Damage: 4
Attack: 8 Damage: 4
The Redbrand on the other side of the barricade, to the south, races to the barricade and climbs over it, also landing near Droknin.
The last Redbrand, on the other side of the barricade to the north, remains at the top of the stairs. "No, you curs! Go after the spellcaster first!"
