Without so much as a word, Cassuis stows his thieves tools away and steps into the room. He rustled through the cloaks until he is able to find one that fits him at least somewhat comfortably. "Anyone need some weapons?"

Droknin shakes off his puzzled look, and he walks towards Cassius giving a wide berth to the skeletons. As he pass them, he points Mlinzi at whichever is closest, and he keeps an eye for any movement. Once in the hallway, he takes a deep breath. "Crossbows are for cowards." He looks at T'laren. "No offense." Then he goes and grab a light crossbow and a quiver. "I might have a use for them later. Better be prepared than be sorry."

"I've all the weapons I need.", T'laren says, eying the dirty cloaks with some amount of distaste.

Keashirryl picks out a couple bolts, replacing the ones she shot from her own quiver, then turns towards the exit.

"I'm ready," she sais. "Back to the other door?"

Droknin positions himself in front of the only door left to open, and he waits for everyone to be prepared. "Ready?" Then he opens it.

Droknin pushes open the unlocked door.  For a moment he gets a look inside before the trap is sprung.  The door opens into a small jail.  There are separate cells on the north and south walls.  In the north cell are an adult human woman and two teenagers, male and female.  In the southern cell is a dirty, heavyset man that looks strangely familiar.  Before he can think on the man's identity, he must contend with the three Redbrands who had been waiting in ambush.

ROUND ONE

Garrin gives a great "HYAAAH!" as he unleashes an eldritch blast at the nearest 

Attack: 7 Damage: 12 

(I am going to assume that a 7 does not hit. Also, bc Droknin is blocking everyone, he's going before Cassius.)

Garrin's eldritch blast misses the target, and singes some of the fur off Droknin's mane.

"Hopefully I finally have found a worthy foe to content with." Droknin declares as he swings Mlinzi on the Rebrand by the door.

Attack1: 23 Damage: 11

Attack2 (BA): 11 Damage: 7

T'laren hops lightly up on the sarcophagus and shoots down through the doorway at the Redbrand.

Attack: 25 Damage: 7

Garrin's spell indeed misses the mark, as does Droknin's first attack, though he manages to deal a glancing blow to the thug with his backhand swipe.  

T'laren finishes the Redbrand in the doorway with an arrow through the throat.  He dies, choking on unspoken final words.  As T'laren hops upon the sarcophagus, he cannot help but feel a chill as the skeleton leaning against it rattles slightly.  It doesn't move, other than the head turning slightly in his direction.  There is no flesh on the face, yet T'laren senses it is frowning at him.

The wood elf hops down, shrugging apologetically and backs away.

Cassius will move into the room and head towards the nearest redbrand that is still standing, giving them a glare before unleashing two strikes on them. The first is a hard strike aimed towards their side while the next is a swift punch towards their face.

Attack: 18 Damage: 6

Attack: 24 Damage: 4

Keashirryl stays behind a little, and - still having relatively fresh memories of how unpleasant melee can get - fires her crossbow at the enemy attacked by Kemp.

Attack: 17  Damage: 5  

Cassius' attacks fail to find their mark, but Keashirryl manages to catch on of the remaining enemies in the shoulder with her bolt.

Both Redbrands inside the prison room turn their light crossbows on Cassius and fire, though at this close range they do so at disadvantage.

Attack: 6 Damage: 6

Attack: 11 Damage: 7

Then the let the crossbows fall to the ground and draw shortswords.  "For the captain!" cries one man.  "For gold and glory!" cries the other.

T'laren makes his way in and puts his back towards the corner of the cell the three people are in before sighting and loosing at the Redbrand on the far side of Cassius.
