Where the Cold Winds Blow... A Lost Mines of Phandelver Story

Seen that the human weapon is effective against this ugly creature, Droknin strikes at him again. He doesn't want to be over confident, so he does not respond to the taunts.

Talon Attack: 12 Damage: 9

Keashirryl repeats her previous spell, having found it much more effective previously than her usual cantrips. She keeps a couple of unwanted remarks for later while hauling the arcane energy in the enemy's direction.

Attack: 13  Damage: 6  

Another slash and spell, and the Wereboar has had enough.  'Oooh!  You rats! (snort)  I'm a gonna remember yoos!'  It takes a final parting shot at Droknin before turning tail and fleeing north.

Tusk Attack: 7 Damage: 9  On a hit, make a DC 12 CON save.

Fist Attack: 10 Damage: 4

Fist Attack: 20 Damage: 4

[Droknin can make an AoO if he likes (with advantage due to Keashirryl's spell) or even continue to pursue to press the attack.]

If not pursued, the Wereboar flees through his camp and down the hill, rushing away to the northeast.

T'laren will take his shot as the boar-man goes to tusk Drok.

((Looks like it already misses even if you were to allow it to have any effect, and it isn't doing any damage, so not rolling.))

Droknin is able to dodge the creature's tusk attack, but even with his spiny tail aiding him, he is not able avoid it weapon hits. "Not so fast, please stay awhile." He runs after it, and he hits the creature with the sword. He's interested in hearing what this thing has to say once disabled.

Talon Attack: 20 Damage: 8

(Not sure I got the banner. Tail Swipe is 4, so both hits Droknin. Attack was 13 to hit, with 14 damage.)

Garrin will move to the edge of the drop and raise his staff, shouting with a shrill "Hyyyhahhhh!"

It is chaos down in the Wereboar's hollow.  T'laren tries to distract the man-beast with an arrow while Droknin uses his monstrous tail as well.  The lycanthrope's tusks miss Droknin but it lands two punches before fleeing.  Droknin pursues, continuing to inflict painful wounds on the creature with the magic sword, Talon.  Garrin gets into the mix as well, smacking the Wereboar in the back with an eldritch blast.

[Droknin and the Wereboar are off the map now.  For theater of the mind purposes, the hollow opens to the north (the hill is more like a horseshoe with a gap on the north side) and the Wereboar and Droknin are headed out that way.]

Droops eyes widen when she joins Garrin at the top and sees the fleeing Wereboar.  "Whoa!  Big pig.  Nevermind Droop.  Not good eating... ooh but is that some donkey down there?  Big Pig not going to finish that?"

Lacking viable options, but not wanting to leave Droknin out there alone, both T'laren move in the direction their leonin companion went, T'laren Prime dashing to keep pace.

Keashirryl pursues, trying to keep to the sides of the hollow rather than going down there. As dashing doesn't leave her with may options, she just spends her turn moving and huffing in the process.

"Gahh!  (Snort)  Yoos can have me loot, ya bloody sheep shaggers!  Get back!"  Desperation in its voice, the wereboar attacks Droknin again before continuing to flee north.

Tusks:  Attack: 25 Damage: 23

Fist:  Attack: 16 Damage: 6

[He is once again open to AoO from Droknin, unless Droknin uses his reaction for another tail swipe.]

[DM: so finally the wereboar figures out how to hit something.]

On the tusk hit, make a DC 12 CON save.

CON Save: 17

Droknin gets gored unexpectedly, and the tusks sink pretty deep into the Leonin. He lets out a loud roar of pain as he bleed profusely at the site of the strike. He curses himself for underestimating this creature. "Listen, we do not care about your loot. I was just going to ask if we could share a meal! However, we are long past that, aren't we?" Droknin follows and tries to finish this ugly creature.

Attack: 9 Damage: 15

If he's still in range, Garrin will fire off another green butterfly eldritch blast 

Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. 

T'laren will keep peppering the boar with arrows to try to distract him from his attacks on Droknin.

(Ugh!! Does Droknin gets advantage on the attack?? :--)

((DM said Drok got an Opp Att unless he burned his reaction on a Tail Swipe... doesn't look like you did?))

(Was just kidding. Droknin was trying to swipe at the wereboar's legs, but I guess that didn't work.)

((Just saying that Drok had a chance to make two attacks, one as an Opp Att if he had a reaction, and another on his turn. It sounded to me like the miss was on his turn, as you said he followed, but never took the Opp Att.))
